Pop Top
Popped into T29 Customs by chance as my pop-top had become out of line, Dave had a quick look and sorted the job in 10 minutes, no problems at all.

Ollie and the team at T29 installed a slimline pop-top on our VW Caddy. The whole experience was very professional from initial communications to the handover and demo of the new roof.
The quality of workmanship is A1 with every detail thought through and the finish is perfect - we particularly like the pressure catches that were fitted that did not seem to be an available option with other companies.
Highly recommended
VW Caddy Pop Top Installation - Excellent service from start to finish.
Better options and availability than other quotes. Quality finish ready in time for summer. Nothing was too much trouble and Ollie went out of his way meeting us on a Sunday morning for our Monday appointment as we live out of area. Thank you would definitely recommend.

We had roof fitted on Citroën Dispatch 2019. The main problem is quality.
The first issue we had when arrived to fit the roof colour was white not black. Because of this had to stay 3 days.
Second one was that after coming back to Kent, the roof has moved for the first time. When we opened it, we noticed all the hinge fixings on the van side were loose. Also it moved on the hinges. Since then, the roof has moved 3 more times. The roof itself is bad quality, like cheap ebay stuff. Very flimsy, the middle of it just goes up when driving.
Other issues we have found, was the bed was not fitted straight. It was making alot of noise when driving.
Leaking through one of the brackets to pull the roof down. Other bracket on the van side did come off, when checked, it looked like one of the bolts was never done up.
Seal going around the roof isn't in one piece, it was cut about an inch or two too short and an extra piece was added to cover the gap.
Wind deflector was too short and did start coming off. Due to all this, it is impossible to drive more than 55mph.
When we contacted, he was trying to explain how to fix the problem with the moving roof saying that it's an easy fix or offering to repair the issues with roof movement at his workshop. But, only when his main fitter will come back from holiday. So, either not so easy or no one knows what are they doing there. Unfortunately, to drive there for 6 hours in an unsafe van, wasn't an option. His second offer was to collect on flat bed but we will have to pay half which is £500+VAT. That's unacceptable that we have to pay for him to fix issues he created by bad fitting and pure quality roof. After, spending £3100 on the roof with fitting.
We also offered him that he can come over to us, use our workshop and tools and resolve the issues, but that wasn't an option for him, so again not so easy to fix?
Overall it's a bad product, bad fitting for premium money.
We do not recommend.

Finally bought myself a campervan toward the end of last year. When I put up the roof for first time this year I noticed it had moved forward over the winter and had been rubbing on the back of the wind deflector and caused a little bit of cosmetic damage. I contacted Ollie and explained the problem. He was extremly helpful and suggested I bring the van to them. Both Ollie and Dave were really helpful on the day and managed to move the roof into a better position. They were very careful when working on the van and I felt reassured that that they paid attention to detail and respected other people's property. I will definitely return to T29customs if I have any further issues and would happily recommend them to others.

Lovey pop top, a choice of colours & fabrics perfectly executed. What makes these guys great is they're aftercare. As soon as a fault occurs they had it sorted while I waited. Great job & great service

I confess to being fussy and on balance hard to please. With that in mind, we research any significant spends in detail. My experience of Ollie and his team are first class, from the initial discussion, pop top project commencement and completion of the job. My Toyota Vellfire new pop top has been finished to such a high quality, made me and the wife really happy. The level of customer service was fantastic and again the sincere care Ollie and the team have is 100% satisfaction!

I was recommend T29 Customs from a colleague, and drove my Elgrand from Glasgow to Croston before getting a train home again.
When I travelled back down to pick up my van, upon first sight I was very pleased, however, it wasn't long before the problems started:
On my drive back up to Glasgow, it became clear there was an issue, as it sounded as if I was driving a van full of demented budgies, and when I pulled over at a service station, I noticed the pop-top was also off centre (when I arrived the poptop was 'up', so I never had a walk around after I was shown how to lower it.. My bad!).
I contacted Ollie and gave him pics / video / audio evidence, and he asked me to bring the van back down (Ollie also noted that there shouldn't still be pen marks on the roof which he said was "naughty").
The lads at the workshop corrected the squeaking / squealing noise and straightened the poptop up so it sat centrally... So off I drove again to Glasgow (4th driven Journey between Glasgow and Croston.. Hundreds of pounds in fuel, with no offer of any compensation for problems that originated at T29's end).
Unfortunately, a day or so later, the poptop drifted off centre again (which looks rubbish), and it developed a rattling noise above the drivers sunroof.
I've managed to curl my fingers up around the sunscreen (which no longer retracts due to the poptop, so isn't easily accessible) and can feel loose cables dangling about and scraps of debris; I'm fairly certain this is causing the issue.
I assume the cables and debris are from the removal of the rear sunroof, which haven't been cleared / secured away, or have been, but unfortunately came loose.
I once again contacted Ollie, but all I got in response was another phone number to call (one of the lads from the workshop).
I contacted that number to no response.
I then, twice more, contacted Ollie to see what was happening, and I've still no response.
I'm very disappointed as I've essentially paid 3.5k to install distracting issues in to my van.. For that price (including my repeat journeys between Scotland and England) I'd expect better customer service, which sadly declined as soon as I handed the money over.

After being let down by another company, Ollie and his team went above and beyond to help get my Nissan Elgrand pop top roof fitted ready for my holiday.
With just over a weeks notice he booked me in, had the roof fabricated and had it fitted in just over a day.
Excellent workmanship throughout, very competitive price and a great bunch of guys carrying out the install.
Would highly recommend T29 Customs to anyone interested in part or full vehicle camper conversions.
Overall, a superb service.
Cannot thank them enough!
