The tea is decent, but the customer service support is awful and so is the new website. They didn't let me redeem my gift card, forced me to pay out of the pocket, then lied to me about a discount and... See more

I don't usually leave reviews, but felt I should throw my hat into the ring after seeing all the negative ones. I have to say my experience with T2 has been overwhelmingly positive. I've ordered multi... See more

Do not make purchases online, no customer support given
I wish I did my research before placing an online order. Similar to the other terrible customer service experiences, I placed an order for a gift exchange and the item arrived damaged. 4 weeks later, no reply from emails sent, calls made, escalations supposedly done by T2. They don’t have the corporate structure to handle and resolve complaints which is poor timing to coincide with holidays.
AVOID
Update: still no answer from customer service, and haven’t received my order.... it’s now been 3 weeks since I ordered.
No delivery, no customer service, no chance of cancelling an order. Do not order online!! Go to a store
Absolute farce
My ten yr old daughter adores this shop and the staff are lovely and helpful.
Online- I first ordered online last Christmas, no problems. I then ordered again in the sales, the items didn't arrive and it took so long for customer services to contact me I'd forgotten I'd ordered anything. I thought this was just a blip...
...my daughter had set her heart on a teaset for Christmas. I ordered at the beginning of December, no teaset, status was always "in progress". I contacted customer service, no response. I contacted customer service again, was told teaset wasn't available but I could have a replacement at the same price. Great. I didn't care which one as long as it arrived by Christmas and wasn't pink. I reiterated this was a Christmas gift.
Three days later Sam emailed telling me a set was being sent (didn't say which one) and "hopefully" it would arrive by Christmas. That was last Thursday, website is still saying delivery is "in progress" and there's no tracking info, so, I have no idea what my item is, where it is or when it will arrive. If I hadn't read the other reviews I'd think I was in the middle of a farcical practical joke. I am so disappointed.
Diabolical Customer Service
Received a Tea For One set damaged. I sent numerous emails, contacted them on their facebook page but no response.
Still chasing them 3 weeks later - unbelievable to get no resolution.
I had never used this company before but would never use it again and certainly not recommend it.
I made an online order on 1 December…
I made an online order on 1 December for a cast iron teapot and some canisters of tea. Tea has arrived - NO teapot as yet. I have left numerous phone messages, demanded to be put through to a human (was put through to a phone no one answered).
Someone called Vanessa was initially helpful and asked for more information - but now it has come to a grinding halt. I am furious. Bang goes my son's Christmas present. That's it T2 - I am now an ex customer.
As much use as a chocolate teapot
Nearly a week later, no progress. Now they are just asking me for detail already given... the case has been 'escalated' apparently..
Update:
Still no replacement for the damaged item. At risk of not receiving for xmas now. Will NEVER order from here again.
Broken and missing!
Ordered xmas present, some of it was broken, it wasn't gift wrapped, the free gift wasn't delivered.
Phone to request replacement, they can't do anything! Have to call Australia (yeah right), email (1-3 days response) or full in online form for callback.
Wish I had checked reviews before ordering.
I wish I could give a MINUS!
I wish I could give a MINUS!
Be weary of buying anything online from T2! I placed an online order for my boyfriend who was unwell. I placed the order 13th November and 7 days later he had not received the gift!
It was supposed to give him comfort as he was unwell and we are apart at this time. I had rude and unhelpful staff and spent lots of time and effort, not to mention money making international calls to ascertain what happened.
My complaint was finally escalated and I thought I was getting somewhere. I was promised a full refund and a replacement of my order - however, it's now the 23rd November and I have received neither!!!! Yet again, they did not deliver what they said they would. It defeats the whole purpose of the surprise I had organised for my boyfriend!

Ordered online from T2 for the first time.
I was a bit nervous due to the reviews below but my delivery arrived the next day. Everything was very well packaged so nothing was damaged in transit. Even the cup and saucer survived.
Tea is amazing and I will no doubt be placing more orders in the future.
And again the parcel has not been delivered - avoid this Company !!!
And again the parcel has not been delivered by DPD despite me explaining to you that they provide a totally abysmal service and vicariously, so does your Company by using them...!
It seems that this item, purchased as a gift, ordered and paid for over a month ago was collected or signed for by someone called Webb on Saturday 7 September who neither my wife or I know and we are again in a situation where DPD and Tea2 have failed to supply goods purchased and paid for.
Copy of my email to this awful company :-
DPD put just one card through the door with no date / time / details or any other information. The card simply stated that I could pick it up from "your local shop" the next working day.
Nowhere on the DPD card does it state where the local shop is and how I can collect it. I have entered the tracking number into the DPD local website and the site simply states that it was signed for by Webb...?????
Please can you now arrange a full and complete refund for the item purchased as sadly and despite my best efforts to receive even a reasonable level of customer service, your company seems determined to use a courier service that has failed now on two occasions and that is totally unacceptable.
I tried my best to explain this to you and suggested that a cheaper and more robust service could be obtained from Royal Mail and yet it seems that you would prefer to lose customers by using a company that consistently fails rather than sticking a parcel in the post...???
Your acknowledgement of this email by return would be appreciated and confirmation that a full and complete refund will be made within the next 24 working hours.
First Class Customer Service!
Visited T2 in Meadowhall, Sheffield, on a busy day - nonetheless, the assistant was focused on what I was saying, professional and friendly in his conduct and very knowledgeable about T2 products. Ended up buying more than I anticipated simply because it was such a pleasant experience just being in there. Won't go anywhere else now.
Great customer service
Great customer service online from Carla, after being informed my order had been damaged I was swiftly given an upgraded product at no extra charge and all delivered very quickly, a very happy recipient!
The friendliest staff in T2 Tea Bath!
We recently went to Bath for a long weekend, and upon are walk around the town we came across a T2 Tea shop. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and lovely, they truly had great customer service skills. The Bath T2 Tea store was great, and you could even sample all of the teas.
The staff were very helpful, and good at recommending products. We were two very happy customers.
Wonderful customer service in store.
Wonderful customer service in store.
I went in to the store in Meadowhall and was so impressed by the lovely staff who were so passionate about the products and so friendly.
I made a little purchase and was so happy with the price and quality would highly recommend.
Outstanding service from Marsha at Regent St
I strolled into the Regent St branch a few months ago because I was looking at a gift of tea for an American friend who likes tea and all things British. I was so bowled over by the outstanding, warm friendly service from Marsha that I ended up spending more than I banked on but ended up with a beautiful tea for one set that my friend cried with excitement over. Since then I have brought a tea for one set for myself (online) to match my new kitchen counter and it is so delightful and better still I got it at less than half price in the sale.
Their stuff is little expensive but you get what you pay for. My only gripe is that for a tea company they seem hard pressed to throw in a few sample tea bags when ordering online. In the UK, we have a long way to go to match up to our French cousins where you buy one product, they offer gift wrapping and always throw a few extras in the bag for good measure.
Good shopping experience
Shopping experience online is not bad. The things here aren't cheap but I bought a teapot on the sale as a Xmas present for my friend. The purchasing experience was good and the delivery came after 3 days of purchasing. So no complain!
Never bought online
Never bought online, but the stock is stunning, shame its so expensive.
Great customer service!
Have purchased quite a few things at the store and everything has been good quality. The staff at the London Shoreditch store are always really friendly and helpful. Free fill Fridays with your T2 flask are an awesome bonus.
I had an issue with one of the products I purchased in store after a while so I contacted customer support online. Carla was incredibly helpful and got a new flask shipped to me immediately to replace mine. She really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend T2!
The sales assistant in Kings road were…
The sales assistant in Kings road were very rude. They were only nice to the rich customers who didn’t care about T2 and didn’t buy their T2 but treated me as if I was from another planet. I went there to buy hibiscus tea but they weren’t helpful. The service I had in Victoria street was ten times better.
Great tea, good customer service
I ordered some tea for my son's birthday at his request. He is a big fan of their tea. Received my order quickly but it was missing one of the teas (the most expensive one of course).
I contacted customer service via email and they requested I take a picture of what I received, which I found a little weird. But I did and emailed it too them. They replied promptly and sent the missing item to me overnight since it was for my son's birthday.
