Worst company you can ever come across
Worst company you can ever come across. I can’t believe how are they even still trading. They take money from clients but never pay it to the pet sitter. I had to send them an official letter to take them to court before they paid me finally.
I would advise anyone to not get scammed by them, do your research and use a reputable company to be a pet sitter.
Scam - I never got paid for my job and Customer Service stopped replying to my emails
I would give this awful company minus 5 stars if I could.
1) First of all, I spent money to upgrade to their Premium Membership so that I would be able to text dog and cat owners directly instead of just sending quotes to them. This, for a better chance at receiving a higher response rate and a higher chance of getting the job. Also, according to Tailster.com, I would only be charged 10% commission instead of 30% (which is absolutely insane).
2) Second of all, and most importantly, I never got paid. I provided the necessary information as soon as that was requested, and contacted Customer Service endless times to complain, and all I received was excuse after excuse. The last excuse they came up with was that “the Accounting Manager had just been replaced by a new one and they had to proceed with payments manually”. Right. Three months after I should’ve received my money, I’ve had enough and here I am writing this well-deserved review.
3) Not only did I spend money for the Premium Membership that I did not get to use - out of all the quotes and messages I received, I only got one job (in hindsight, thank God!) and was not even paid. This, plus the sheerless number of hours spent on the app trying to find customers.
Customer Service would also email me non stop, every time I sent a text or quote, asking me if the pet owner and I had met and if I was assigned the job.
They are so scared of people meeting up and then deciding not use Tailster. Honestly, this would probably be the only safe and honest way to use this fraud of a service.
If you are pet owners looking for someone to take care of your pets, PLEASE do NOT use Tailster. The carers will not be paid, ever.
I would sue them if I knew how to - maybe one day. It’s not about the money, which wasn’t much in my case, but it’s about the principle. Based on my experience, this company is a scam and should not exist.

They have accepted bookings on my behalf without permission
I was happy with Tailsetr before they spent all the pet owners money on other things instead of paying carers and were forced to go into administration and sell the company to one of their shareholders.They promised big things but it has been horrible since.
They charge new people to join, they charge if you want insurance.They sometimes charge people without permission or warning for random things.
THEY HAVE ACCEPTED BOOKINGS ON MY BEHALF without permission several times and I have reported this.This is because they charge the owner's card when the booking is confirmed.
They only respond, by AI most of the time, to people registering because that is where the money is.
I have only found Siobhan and other staff to be rude, dismissive or silent.

Non-payment and no contact
Currently I would give 0 stars if I could. I have been a carer with Tailster for about 8 years but recently it has gone massively downhill. I have not been paid for a job I completed over 2 months ago. The client has paid tailster and tailster has taken their huge cut but payment hasn't been made to me. I have sent multiple emails, messaged their facebook page, used their online chat and have had no response.
