The app is easy to use, they have a great FAQ section, and their customer support is spot on friendly and fast. I enjoyed the whole experience while looking around and learning how to use this app. I highly recommend. Most helpful and friendly. 100% satisfied!

Taimi is the most predatory dating app out of about 10 I've used. Every single aspect of the app is meant to extort you for money. Basic functions require premium. First, you have a tiny tiny amount of swipes per day unless you $, and 20% of profiles are locked by Taimi behind a paywall as "diamond dates" which are probably just profiles that get lots of hits that they are monetizing that person's profile without the person's say so. You can't swipe on these without $, even though it shows them to you and it makes up about 1 in 5 of your swipes. You get about 6 notifications daily trying to fool you into thinking you have a like: Your notification will say "Sandra checked out your profile", or "Jess is waiting to talk to you", but it's just a random profile that probably actually passed on your profile. There's a discovery page that is 5 categories... All but one of them are behind paywall, including the "Curated for you" channel. There IS a "Boosted" channel that is "free" for you to look at, however, these profiles have no relevance to you and include random people from all over the country. So literally there is nothing useful on the whole discover page. What's WORSE is that I think these people PAY to be boosted, which is just as useless to them because all the hits they get will be from half the country away. They also constantly change how basic features else, trying to find new ways to scam your money. Last week they stopped letting you see ANY information on profiles...as in, you can see the person's pictures but you couldn't see their age, preferences, or their profile section. This wasn't a glitch. Per their customer support, it was an actual "test"(presumably to see how much people would complain if they make this permanent as another paywall!).
The only reason I keep checking the app is because lots of alt people use it and you might somehow match with someone cool, despite the app actively being the worst possible experience. That's not even going into how it ignores your preferences (I routinely am shown lesbian profiles who clearly didn't select men as a preference, etc). Oh yeah! The NEWEST scam is that when you run out of profiles to view it now automatically CHANGES your distance and age filter to show more people without you agreeing. So you have to constantly change them back, over and over.

Let this be a warning: this app is a digital leech. After a review connected me with a local father—whose children I could see in the background—I made the mistake of mentioning the cost of feeding his kids. The app instantly banned me for "discussing money."

The hypocrisy is staggering. They have no problem stealing from you. In less than a month, I was charged three times ($17+ each) for "premium services" I never used—services that are useless because the app has me permanently locked in Las Vegas, despite living in Colorado. My matches are ghosts from a state I don't live in.

Their "unlimited access" is a lie. Options are stripped away, and customer "service" is a loop of AI bots giving the same canned, useless responses. They refuse to fix the location, stop the fraudulent charges, or offer a real human being to speak to.

My experience is a preview. It hasn't happened to you yet. But it will. And when you come here looking for answers, you'll find this review and finally understand.

The app itself is fantastic and seems great to use. The only real downfall is the aggressive monetization; you'd get better value spending that money on a drink at a trans bar, where the experience is actually worth it. I bought both the Gold Tear and Gold Tear Plus memberships expecting the amazing features as advertised.Instead, I get severely limited swipes and get put on a "time-out" for up to 24 hours. The "instant chats" are capped at a measly three. This isn't premium; it's a trap. You are actively punished for using the features you paid for. Do not waste your money on this. You are better off with the free version.

Great queer dating app. People are direct but also a lot more ghosting than tinder. As always you get out of it what you put into it. Too many gated/paid features, too. Very attractive transwomen worldwide using this, too. Girl+ has entered the chat room ;p 👾

I used to love Taimi, but lately all the people I would actually get on with are locked behind a paywall and as a trans person who’s already struggling for money and for friends it’s made me want to completely delete the app. “Curated profiles” are unfair, unneeded and a complete money grab by a company that claimed to be “for the people” for trans people for queer people and for vulnerable people.

I had an issue with one of my son use my card to subscribe, so I contact help desk and I spoke with Matt, while I was freaking out Matt kept calm and solve the issue with no problem. Help desk is on top of things there, thank you Matt.

Is awesome app the best ever in this world

I subscribed but then got scared about being exposed as I am a middle aged married man with children. I am struggling with my sexuality and looking for someone to help me through this. The support from Taimi was so thoughtful and caring when I asked to unsubscribe while I’m going through whatever this is.

This is a really good app for the LGBTQ+ family. I certainly get to meet allot of new people and have some great experiences

Waste of money, fake people who take your money. One week they pump nearly 100 English pounds from my account and I didn’t get nothing. Don’t waste your time and money! Fecking thief’s!!!!

This app is like finding the place within yourself you didn't even know existed or that you were looking for.

The UI design makes the app easy to use. I can tell that there’s a lot of care in how they interact with the trans and nonbinary community, which takes a lot of pressure off of me when using dating apps as a trans person myself. The same thing goes for their attention to detail with different relationship styles. You also can’t take screenshots nor screen record, for obvious reasons. I feel safe having a fun time on the app. If ur trans and/or nb, use Taimi 👌🏳️‍⚧️

because customer service went great they helped me out and reported my helpful comments on how they can improve their site to their customer support Center hopefully they can get all of my ideas up and going on this site to make it better for all the customers.
