The process was smooth and we had a set menu curated for us by the chef based on our preferences and likes
We absolutely loved it he was such a great chef and a very lovely person who made sure everything is to our liking

Take a chef canceled on me the night before Valentine's day leaving me no options to get a reservation or find childcare. They sent a long, meaningless email and had the audacity to ask if I wanted to reschedule or receive a credit/voucher to use within one year. They honored my request for a refund. Would not recommend this service.

We had the most beautiful evening with Chef Ludovic and his assistant. From the moment they arrived, with their big smiles and easy, inspiring chats, everything just felt relaxed and special.

They moved so quietly and respectfully around the house that we honestly didn’t even notice they were there. Suddenly the table was perfectly set, the kitchen was organized, and incredible food started coming out. Every dish was amazing — refined, full of flavor, and truly felt like having a Michelin-star restaurant at home.

And when they left, the kitchen was spotless. It was like magic happened and then disappeared.

Such talent, such kindness, such elegance. We’re definitely repeating very soon 🤍

Chef Berenice was superior in all ways! First, communication skills were wonderful before we arrived and even when she was on her way to our place. Had a wonderful variety of food to select from before we decided on the menu. She was timely and the food, from the appetizers to the dessert to the wine were all fantastic! The kitchen we had was not huge but you’d think she was cooking in a restaurant. Would definitely recommend and use again! Chef Vinicius Fernandes was absolutely incredible and truly a highlight of my trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! This dinner was for my 25th birthday, and from the planning stage onward, he was thoughtful, communicative, and extremely accommodating. We were in touch even before I arrived in the country, and he helped recommend wine pairings for the menu. When I ran out of time to purchase the wine on the day of the event, he even sent someone to pick it up, which made the night feel extra special.

The entire experience was seamless. He had no issues working in the Airbnb kitchen and mentioned he had cooked there before, which showed in how smoothly everything went. Every dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We were full, but the food was so good you honestly wanted to keep eating. If anything, I only wish the main portion had been a bit larger, but the quality and flavor were outstanding.

When a bakery fell through last minute for my birthday cake, he stepped in and made a custom cake that was delicious and exceeded expectations. He also left the kitchen spotless afterward, which was very appreciated.

Overall, the food, service, and care he put into the evening were exceptional. I would absolutely hire him again and cannot recommend him highly enough!

We had the pleasure of Chef Serly cooking for a group a 4 on Saturday night. It was a wonderful experience and the food was fantastic! Serly did a beautiful job of cooking in a timely manner. William De Jesús Tirado is the kindest, most lovely, honest, hardworking , thoughtful, creative chef with delicious food!! I rented a house for a week with my best girlfriends for my 50th birthday and he made us 2 meals per day: brunch and dinner. He blew us all away with his talent and quality of food. He gave the week his all and we all had the best time thanks to him. I can’t wait to return to Puerto Rico to have another chance to work with William again!

I love it how if a chef gives a review about take a chef.. It gets removed immediately. It used to be good.. Now the implementation of AI and 0 interactions with clients it's not worth it.

This was our first time ever using Take a Chef or hiring a private chef. Chef Alessio was amazing! He was on time, personable, friendly, clearly loves to cook, and took great care to make sure we enjoyed our evening. Can't say enough good things about him. :) The food quality was outstanding, and the menu he put together was perfect for us. I really appreciated the additional menu and wine suggestions he provided as well. You will see the price per person when you receive proposed menus from interested chefs, just remember, tips are not included, so have some cash ready the night of your meal!

We hired Chef Andrea for a Christmas Gift celebration and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The 5-star quality dining in the comfort of our own home made the evening incredibly special. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and thoughtfully executed. Brilliant communication and an even better experience!
