Chef Duque was extremely superb, he was just outstanding! His menu had a better selection and pricing of the four chef’s that was presented to us. The food tasted excellent, and was cooked at the right temperature.

His service was profoundly superb, we were amazed how he selected the proper tableware, plates, and utensils that were stored in our kitchen. He also went above and beyond by selecting and paring the wine that was in our bar.

We had an excellent experience with Take a Chef and a superb experience with our selected chef.

Chef Kevin Scott delivered a stellar Japanese Hibachi dinner! He clearly is a very experienced and professional chef! The taste, presentation, timing and portioning were fantastic! He also read the room really well provided a presentation of the menu and helped manage the flow of the evening just right!

Carla and Romy gave our family a special gourmet dining experience in our vacation condo. From first planning until the final clean up, everything was top notch. We had the best margaritas of our trip and really excellent ceviche to start and each course gave us another treat. We had leftovers for the next day stored in our fridge with instructions for serving.

Maybe something changed but just tried to hire a chef and everything seems like instant AI generated menus, for very expensive rates, zero transparency into the actual chef or reviews and I’m seeing Reddit and notes that chef get completely ripped off. Just seems like another pump and dump VC scam

Easy and fast to get paired with a chef and she was great! We used Chef Suzy in Telluride and everything was delicious and perfect.

We were lucky to have Chef Mary Luu as our chef for my wife's 50th birthday. This was a special evening, and a milestone birthday. Chef Luu went above and beyond to personalize the menu to accommodate my wife's particular palette, and asked me so many questions and suggestions until we landed on a menu that was spot on. My wife lovvvvved the dinner, and Chef Luu has such a warm and inviting personality, which made our evening even more special.

Chef Evan Burrows did not disappoint! His communication from the beginning was clear. When he arrived at our door, he was professional and organised. He is a brilliant chef. Every meal for the evening was outstanding! I highly recommend hiring him for your next event.

We hired Chef Terri Bowles via Take a Chef for a private dinner while vacationing in the Canmore/Banff area over the New Year’s holiday, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The menu was outstanding from start to finish: sprouted ancient sourdough with whipped seasonal butter, winter mixed greens with roasted beets, citrus vinaigrette, maple pecans, pomegranate and goat cheese, followed by a perfectly grilled beef tenderloin with pomme purée, baby carrots, and peppercorn jus, and finished with a decadent chocolate mousse with hazelnut and coconut.

Beyond the food, Terri was prompt, warm, and incredibly friendly—especially with our kids. She expertly navigated a fairly limited mix of kitchen and servingware in our rental home, served each course seamlessly, and provided thoughtful explanations about the dishes and how they were prepared. When dinner was over, she left the kitchen spotless and even wrapped up leftovers for us to enjoy the next day.

We highly recommend Chef Terri Bowles to anyone visiting Banff or Canmore who wants a memorable, stress-free, and special dining experience. A perfect way to ring in 2026 and elevate a holiday getaway.

Chef Gersun and his team were fantastic during our four days together. They were warm, accommodating, and went above and beyond to take care of our group of 11. Chef Gersun worked with us in advance to customize the menu and was always open to requests.

Communication was seamless, with daily confirmations, and the food was excellent, especially the fish dishes. He even made our New Year’s Eve dinner extra special with festive decorations and noise makers. Chef Gersun‘s positive, sunny disposition truly stood out. We would gladly book Chef Gersun and his team again.

Chef Nate worked with us to make an excellent menu and an amazing night! He made some beignets that we'll be thinking about for a long time.
