Do not buy from this company!! If you have a problem they let you wait for a long time. They are only accessible through email. When they respond it's a standard text with an answer you already did a bunch of times (contact through email)...such a shame. I will never buy from them again. Still hoping to see my money back. I'll give benefit of doubt
I gave them a 1 initially for a delivery that never came through on my first time using their service, but I have had to review my rating upwards to 3 because I got an email from the team giving me a full refund and a voucher as compensation. I think this speaks positively of their customer service, as I don't know many companies that have done similar. I'm likely to give another try.

still waiting for refund since 6 march , sometimes they just solve the problem , but other times they just take week or weeks to solve 10 € problem , i m tired , i don't consider ordering from takeaway any time soon .

Nice web site, but after that it’s all down hill. Fictitious “real time” map: after my estimated 40-minute wait, I was informed that the food would be arriving at any moment. At any moment was nearly two hours after the order was placed. Nonexistent customer service.
A bit of honesty goes a long way, but obviously not as far as a grasping company out to maximise its profit. Just stay away.

We ordered food on day and the order did not pass. Though money was withdrawn from our account.
Seems like we were not the only ones, cause other people experienced the same. Instead of communicating these kind of issues to their clients, they did nothing. We had to drag them on social media to find out what happened. We got our money back 3 weeks after it happened. Now we do not dare to use it in the future.
Just call if you wanna take an order, god knows how much money they have to pay to Takeaway just to be on their platform.

Two hours later still waiting for it to arrive I call the takeaway who tell me I’ve had it, actually had the nerve to say “are you sure nobody else in the house has got it” .... there is me and my 9 year old daughter in the house , my 9 year old has been sat with me all night n is not only hungry as her food was cold and wrong , but upset and angry that the takeaway tried to blame her ,...

On 29 December 2019 I ordered food via Takeaway.com in Brussels from Tom Yam (in Ixelles) for delivery at my home (in Ixelles). Order placed at 19h01, food arrived at 21h06, ie. 2 hours and five minutes later. Difficult to know if the food was any good as it was completely cold when it arrived...
If this is the best that Takeaway.com can do, I will think twice before using their services again... :-(

Worst experience
I ordered from a place at 15min distance from me. The delivery time was estimated to 55. Now more than 2hours passed and I didn’t receive my order. I sent 4 emails, they replied to my first and then nothing. To my surprise the ordered appeared in the app as delivered. I called them and they informed me that the estimated time passed and that was the reason my order appeared as delivered. After two hours they informed me it will takes another 15 minutes to receive my order. That is far the worst experience with a food delivery company. My colleagues had some bad ones At work, waiting four hours to receive their order and they were informed it was canceled. I learnt my lesson and I ll make sure to inform as many people as possible. Btw, they offered a voucher for the “inconvenience” encountered. Awesome. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THROUGH TAKEAWAY.

Hello!! Is anyone on Takeaway side??? I have been trying to get my money back since 25.th of November! I have made the huge mistake into using your app and since then i have been trying to reach take away support but of course no one gives a f=£¥.
You owe me 132 euros. It.s been two weeks, someone should have had a reaction on all my 4.th tries to contact you. At least out of common sense.

Got an error of unsuccesful payment…
Got an error of unsuccesful payment twice via bancontact. Decided then to order with google pay. was succesful. However the so called unsuccesful payments did go from my bank account!!!! no reply yet from takeaway. I paid around 100€ too much!!
Would be nice of Takeaway to at least reply to the mail acknowledging something went wrong and they are working on it. If this does not get cleared out asap, i will NEVER use takeaway again. It's easy to ask for money, but giving the money back seems always hard...

Received only a partial repayment!
Glad that things are in motion. Would like to receive the remaining Amount of 49Eur. I paid 3x 49 and only received 1x 49 back.

Money deducted 3 times and no refund yet!
I ordered through takeaway and the payment was successful but in the app the message was stating 'there was some problem to place order' . In hurry as there was a guest at home, I tried doing the same 3 times in total, always the same response and my money deducted thrice. There was no mobile customer service and they are not responding for my email ticket since 2 weeks. Poor service.
Ultimately I lost around 100Eur.

Food was awful
Food was awful. The worst burger I have ever had. Chips were ice cold, burger was severely burnt, couldn't even eat 1/2 of it. I had actually ordered a spicy burger and they couldn't even get that right. Absolutely the worst ever.

2 hours delivery
The delivery took almost two hours and the agent on the phone kept lying that the driver would be there in 2 minutes, 5-10 minutes, 10 minutes... She insisted that he had left from the restaurant but the restaurant is only 5 minutes away and the driver's delivery box was still full when he arrived at our place. The pizza wasn't really warm anymore and it had clearly been in the box for some while. The info at booking said it would take one hour and the delivery was marked as delivered 20 minutes before it actually was.
