Fantastic company! Have been a member for many years now and never had an issue. The team are responsive, help with any queries and always keep you up to date regarding any research you're on.
The layout of the site is brilliant unlike competitors which makes it really easy to navigate.
They have a good mixture of research types both in genre and how you can attend i.e. online, face to face etc.

Interesting
I’ve used TPIR for a few years now, just dip in when I have the time and if get picked it’s worth it. Some of the research is really interesting too.
Never had any issues, clear instructions and prompt payment.

People should be aware that an eMail asking for 5 star reviews came from the company and has since been retracted.
It is important for readers to consider that the eMail invite and prize draw offer will no doubt entice people to leave reviews. I can assure that my review is honest and factual of my experience with the company and I am not paid or will not receive anything in leaving this review.

Overall okay - worth subscribing to as may get selected
Positives:
You do not need to keep re-entering the same information about yourself when you apply. Just need to update the application according to the research you are taking part in.
Very straightforward and easy to use process.
Negatives:
Send me applications that I cannot apply for as I do not meet eligibility.
I have applied for countless and never get a response back so I do not know how the selection process works - would love to know. In fact since joining over a year ago, I have only been selected once. The other two times, I could not do the time due to work.

Interesting and Rewarding
I've been involved with a few projects with Take Part in Research. On every occasion I have found them to be friendly, helpful and very well organised. I have especially enjoyed the group discussions where you get such a variety of views, makes you think and opens the mind. Hopefully my views are valid, I feel valued and I learn from others too. I contributed to a project on AI which started pre Covid and am just about to start on another.

Offering bribes for good reviews
I received an email earlier today asking me to leave a 5 ⭐ reviews in exchange for entry into a prize draw for a £50 Amazon voucher. I'm no lawyer, but pretty sure this is frowned upon lol. That email had clearly been curated with an email banner, instructions and who to contact if we had any problems. Fast forward a few hours and their MD emailed again apologising for the earlier email, stating it has been "sent in error and will be dealt with internally"....meanwhile 100s of fabulous reviews have popped up today on Trust Pilot. It's a shame if review platforms like TP are manipulated in this way and I suspect Take Part in Research should really be declaring this and asking Trust Pilot to remove any reviews that have been posted since that email was sent this morning.
In terms of them as a research platform. I've applied for many many research projects that I am apparently eligible for and have never heard anything back over the course of around 2 years, except once for a blood donation job where I received £50 for letting a trainee take a small blood sample in Boots. I have friends who have joined and they've applied for many, again, apparently ones they're eligible for and have heard nothing. Their application process needs an overhaul as they ask the same questions again and again, many of which are saved on my profile. Not a very slick platform for applications and I imagine a large number of frustrated customers. Ive stopped applying now and will probably just remove myself from their email list (especially after today's rather questionable messages)

Untrustworthy reviews - they have sent an email this week offering a £50 voucher draw for 5* reviews. Whilst I have always had a good experience with TPIR I do not believe they should be practicing in this dishonest behaviour. Very disappointing.

Genuine Researchers
I took part in some medical research that involved providing blood sample, and doing various other non-invasive tests such as Blood Pressure. Take Part In Research is 100% genuine and legitimate and provided me with my voucher promptly.

I have been selected for some panels since 2020. They have been interesting. The payments have been processed before the stated time. I know that I will not always get selected but I will continue to try for topics that I think are relevant to me.
