Paul was engaging, knowledgeable, funny. His pacing was perfect and he was considerate of everyone in our group. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wanted a well-rounded, relaxed experience.

Paul was fantastic! Kind, friendly, helpful. Very knowledgeable about the numerous places we toured over the 8 hour day, and about logistics like where to grab lunch and a few options for what to do after.

On November 27th, we took a guided tour of Pompeii with Vito, and it was fantastic. We visited the city's most iconic sites, and he explained the secrets of the ruins in detail, showing us their treasures with great expertise. The three hours flew by, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Many thanks to Vito for his attention. We would definitely do it again with him.

The 1:45 pm boat ride was uplifting, allowing us to snap stunning photos without the crowds. The Journey Behind the Falls was exhilarating; feeling the power of the water up close was surreal! What an unforgettable day! The Niagara Falls tour with Take Walks was simply fantastic. Our guide, Janice (Linda), was not only informative but also personal with her own stories about the Falls and the area she grew up in. The boat cruise was delayed due to the weather so we needed to take a later cruise then planned. The views are incredible Then, exploring behind the falls felt surreal. The power of nature was overwhelming. If you’re looking for a personable and exciting way to experience Niagara, this tour is an absolute must!

Frank was amazing! I can’t recommend the Exclusive Niagara Falls Tour enough! Frank, our guide, made the experience both revealing and fun for all the family. From the breathtaking boat cruise to the Journey Behind the Falls, every moment felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The detailed storytelling and approachable demeanor of Frank brought the Falls to life in a vivid way. The 20-minute boat ride, complete with ponchos, was thrilling! Plus, standing just beside the cascading water was an exhilarating highlight. This tour is a thorough exploration of one of nature's wonders—absolutely not to be missed!

Cancelled a tour for St Marks only 3 weeks out from our trip, with the explanation that the tour was sold out... We had booked it 5 months in advance and are only being told this now?

Now that it's only 3 weeks out we won't be able to book with another company, everyone else will be sold out too. I get the impression they oversold, or were very unprepared for it. Not cool.

Had a great tour planned, had something come up and could not make it. I called and emailed about 48 hours before and was denied a refund. They gave me 3 separate stories as to why. I will never recommend or use this company again. Beware.

I arrived at the meeting point for a tour and to see the skip the line last supper.
They said they didn’t have tickets for the last supper and can only do the walk.
It’s been a dream of mine to see the last supper and this is my last day in Milan.
DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY.

We booked the full-day tour with Walks on May 30, 2025, and were extremely disappointed. The itinerary included Westminster Abbey, a river cruise, and the Tower of London—but due to poor time management by our guide, we barely got to enjoy any of it.

The day started with a delay as the guide, Ildy, waited for a late guest, pushing back our Westminster entry. Once inside, it was chaotic, with our group squeezed into overcrowded tour areas. Individuals with general admission seemed to have a much better experience.

Later, during the Changing of the Guard, it was almost impossible for our group of 19 to find viewing space. Things worsened after lunch when some guests returned late. Even though the website clearly states the tour won’t wait for late parties, the guide chose to delay us again. My group returned on time, skipping lunch due to restaurant delays—yet we were still held back.

Because of these delays, we missed our scheduled river cruise, arrived at the Tower of London an hour late, and had very limited time to explore. We stayed until closing and still only saw a small portion of what we’d hoped to experience.

For the price we paid, this tour was not worth it. Poor time management and disregard for the company’s own policies ruined what should have been a highlight of our trip. Would not recommend.

Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and wasted money. We booked the “Louvre Museum Skip-the-Line Highlights Tour with Mona Lisa” tour with Walks France and showed up exactly on time and at the correct meeting point, yet they left without us. After standing at the designated location, we waited anxiously for 15 minutes, then began frantically searching around the outside of the Louvre, hoping we'd somehow find our guide.

Spoiler: we never did.
Even worse, we had to purchase our own Louvre tickets on top of the $140 we had already paid this company.

Before they come on here to "correct" this review with their rehearsed response claiming we were late: WE WERE NOT, I promise you. We were there when and where we were supposed to be. They are misrepresenting the situation to justify keeping our money.

We called three different phone numbers over nine times trying to reach someone anyone from Walks. We got zero support, zero direction, and absolutely no follow-up from our tour guide, which is honestly shocking for a tour that costs this much. If we were truly "missing," wouldn't a professional guide at least try to reach us?

Eventually, we found another Walks guide inside the Louvre (not ours), who told us that the company was a mess today, a manager had called out, etc. That may explain their chaos, but it doesn't excuse our experience. It's not our fault their internal operations fell apart. We paid for a tour, showed up on time, and were abandoned.

We spent an hour on the phone with customer service trying to get a refund. One of the managers even admitted they'd review the case and get back to us. Well, they did twice- both with a flat-out refusals to refund us.

To anyone reading this:
There are plenty of excellent tour companies operating at the Louvre. Do not risk your money or time with Walks. Their disorganization, lack of accountability, and refusal to make things right speak volumes.

Steer clear. You deserve better.

Brutal. Travelled to the Tower of London for the opening ceremonies, early access to the crown jewels, and a full 3 hr tour with a blue badge tour guide. The company confirmed and ticket told us to show up at 09:15, which turned out to be 30 mins after the ceremony was already over, thus no early access to the jewels either, and our tour guide just decided to skip the torture chamber all together without any facts or even pointing out its location. But the kicker, the tour was over an hour short of the minimum time! The refund policy shows they are in the wrong but still want to blame the customer and denied my request. The facts we did get were basic and seemed from an 8th grade history text, not a 22 year tour guide "expert". Save your money and do the tour yourself with the provided smartphone and headset.

Aurelio is fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly. The Catacombs were amazing. Ten out of ten !

Flavia is amazing. We signed up for the Pompeii tour. It was a long 13-14 hours tour but she was able to keep things organized and smooth. Lots of recommendations and clear instructions. The driver was awesome as well. He drove defensively and I felt safe even the road to Sorrento was narrow and curvy. When we return to Rome we will for sure to sign up for their other tours.

I booked a Tour for a trip to Rome in October. I then had to cancel the tour. Walks accepted my cancelled tour and said it would refund my payment of over $1800.
The refund has never been received. I have been emailing Walks since June 27th and on the phone with customer service for the past 4 days. Every person I speak with has a reason/excuse why I have not received my refund. It seems Walks makes it next to impossible to receive a refund. Buyer Beware of booking a tour with this company.
