I had an amazing time with the Essaouira tour. I had plenty of free time exploring the old city, the driver stopped along the way so we could take photos of goats on the trees, i learned how argan oil is made, and thetour is generally not rushed. The full day tour was not rigid, it gave me time to soak in the Morrocan culture.

My daughter and I had an amazing time riding camels in Morocco. A beautiful ride at sunset through a date palm grove was beautiful. Ismail is a kind, patient and professional guide. The camels are gentle and sweet. I highly recommend Take Your Guide for all of your travel adventures!

i checked in a four star hotel in Marrakesh. i inquired at the front desk for what is it to do in this city.the concierge recommended Take your Guide for all kinds of activities in the country as a whole. i always dreamed of riding camels and sleeping under the stars in the desert but i wasn't sure that could be done. A young man with a wonderful smile showed up and offered to give us a tour of the south. That, later would become an adventure of a lifetime. We were a group of six people and had two kids with us. we got more than we bargained for. we had a three day tour in which we saw mountains, ate delicious food shopped for local handmade jewelries, tapestries and earth-ware. the best was our desert caravan. it ended with a night under the stars, a feast of food i never had and group dances and chants. The trip was so fulfilling that i felt fully charged for months afterwards and my boss was utterly puzzled. I look forward to something new with Take Your Guide on my next trip to Morocco.

This was really a nice experience. We had a small group of 8 persons travelling in a minibus. The transportation was comfortable thanks to professional and very calm driver. The place we visited on the way to Essaouira were too touristic in my regard, for instance when you the argan oil production site you have no impression of authentic facility, it is totally made just for tourists. This is also true when it comes to goats on the trees: shepherd force them to do it so you can make good photos. Goats really climb the trees in wild argan forests, but not between Marrakesh and Essaouira.
Essaouira is the great place to visit. We have a friendly guide who speaks English, Arabic, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian. We had a tour around medina and a little talk about Moroccan history and culture.
The town itself is exciting: beautiful, calm and quiet with chilly weather. Nothing like noisy all-touristic and really fake Marrakesh. Essaouira in my opinion is highly recommend to visit and stay for a few days. As one of our tour mates told, it reminds Nice.
