Premium price, disappointing quality
We purchased six Cross Chairs and, unfortunately, cannot recommend the company.
The chairs are priced at a level comparable to dining chairs from premium manufacturers such as Carl Hansen & Søn, and we therefore expected a similar level of build quality. We initially hesitated between trying this relatively new brand or choosing more established classics. In hindsight, we should have chosen the latter.
From the moment the chairs arrived, I was somewhat skeptical about the construction, as they are assembled using only a few screws. While flat-packing may be part of the company’s concept, it quickly became clear in practice that the chairs are not comparable to other Danish design dining chairs we own.
After only a few weeks of use, several chairs became unstable and started wobbling at the base. Even after repeatedly tightening the screws, the issue persists.
This has been a disappointing experience—particularly given the brand’s strong emphasis on sustainability. It is regrettable that we are now considering replacing the chairs after only a few years of use.
That is, quite simply, not sustainable.
In addition, we find the upholstery lacking in comfort. Overall, the product appears to prioritize aesthetics over durability and long-term quality.

Great products bad service
Lovely design, quality and all around good products. However we have placed two orders with Takt. First time around, the chairs got stuck in the UK border and we basically had to pay an enormous amount of money to release them (we ended up paying almost double what is stated online). We swallowed the bullet. For our second order, the shipment has gotten delayed by over a month due to internal miscommunication and lack of parts. It is really unacceptable level of service that does not reflect their claim to be high quality, reasonably priced and accessible manufacturer.

Three weeks since the order and no sign of life
I've placed an order three weeks ago. Wrote twice through the chatbot, which promised I'd hear from an agent within 48 hours. Wrote an email to an address found on the website.
I am yet to receive any sign of life from TAKT. This is embarrassing.

Refund takes too long
Ordered the sling lounge chair in December 2022. The chair turned out small, did not have the quality finishing I expected and was difficult to install. The canvas was not smooth but seemed used. I returned the chair in December, it arrived at Takt on the 29th of December and I am still waiting on a refund. My e-mails are ignored.

The product is absolutely exquisite…
In April I ordered 4 soft chair chairs in the color oak. I reacted a bit to the fact that they were light in color, but thought it was the way they looked. I had never seen the chairs other than on the website. At the end of May, I ordered two more chairs, also in oak. When the chairs arrived I quickly saw that these were more like I had imagined, and it turned out that the first 4 were in the color ash. I contacted customer service at TAKT, they confirmed that an error had occurred here. They have now set up a shipment with 4 chairs in the correct color which is oak. What is a bit of a disappointment is that we have to disassemble the 4 chairs that we have been using for 6 weeks, then they will be sent to a HUB in Norway and then all the way back to Denmark. I chose the TAKT chairs not only for their beautiful appearance and exciting design, but also for sustainability and the environment in focus. It is unfortunately with a bad taste in our mouths, that we get extra work to disassemble the 4 chairs, and also leave traces in the environment for a mistake we are not to blame for. If they for ex. had offered us to keep the wrongly sent chairs, and then sent us only two oak chairs, we would have 4 of each color, and saved the enviroment. When it comes to the chairs, they are absolutely exquisite, and a design product I am sure will delight many people.

The most exquisite chairs I have ever owned. Great experience.
I bought three Cross Chairs Tube in smoked oak and dunes leather. Besides their stunning appearance and quality of sustainable materials, the most important part is how they feel. TAKT have tilted the seat and backsupport to an angle that gives the body perfect support. I hadn't tried one before buying, so was really happy to discover that.
Also, I would advice getting the chairs with the seat cushion. Think your behind will thank you in the long run.
Secondly, see their assemple video or read the instructions. It might be a given "how to" for some, not for me. If you get more chairs, the instructions might only be in one of them, so don't get discouraged.
As for shipping. Had three smaller boxes waiting outside my appartment door. Can't imagine that being any easier.
