We can’t fault the service! My mum has poor cognition and memory, so the newsletters have been such a lovely way of helping her stay connected to familiar faces in the family and keep up with what everyone is doing.
It’s such a fantastic idea and something that genuinely feels meaningful for families like ours. Thank you again for all the work that goes into it.
Our family has got together to create a newsletter for our mum and grandma to 5 grown up kids. She loves the printed photos. And a huge bonus is that we all get to share special moments as a family in the group WhatsApp.
Thank you Taletrove!

Taletrove’s newsletters have really brought so much joy to my mother in law’s life. She’s elderly and doesn’t get on well with electronic devices so keeping up with her Granddaughters news and pictures could have been a struggle had it not been for Taletrove - particularly as she lives up on the Isle of Bute!
Sam at Taletrove always offers an electronic version before the hard copy is posted out so that you can check that everything is how you like it.
Any changes I’ve wanted have been actioned very quickly with no hassle or fuss.
Huge thanks Sam and team!

My sister and I gifted a year of Taletrove monthly newsletters to our Aunt for Christmas 2025. She doesn't use any technology so this is perfect for her. She has loved each of the newsletters she has received so far, declaring enthusiastically "They are brilliant! So lovely!". She keeps the most recent edition in her handbag to show any friends she meets with. She now has a much better idea of what her nieces and great nieces&nephews are up to and really enjoys both the photos and the captions we include with the photos. It is very simple to do each newsletter - adding photos to a dedicated Taletrove WhatsApp conversation and adding captions just like you would when sending photos and comments to anyone else. The photo count and timely reminders, that come in reply to each photo we upload, are very helpful for making the most of each newsletter. I also really like the "Dates for the diary" last page where we can add any important dates coming up in the next month, so that our Aunt feels in the loop all the time.
I used to tell myself each New Year that I would be better at sending photos more regularly to my Aunt...but I have never managed it. This is the perfect solution for me. I am so pleased to have found this service and no doubt will be gifting a newsletter every year from now on! Other older family members are also soon to be getting them.
Sam at Taletrove has been excellent with all communications helping us to create the newsletter how we want it. Thank you Taletrove!

It’s so easy to do to share with my Mum who we don’t see often what her grand daughter is doing. My mum seems to be enjoying them.

I am so glad we found Tale Trove. I moved to Canada with my two young boys, so the Tale Trove newsletter is something the grandparents really look forward to receiving each month. In a world where things are so digital, it’s lovely to be able to send something in a printed format that they can treasure and keep.
The uploading process couldn’t be easier. I just upload photos and captions on what’s app whenever it’s convenient to me. I get messages about how many photo slots I have left and VERY helpful reminders about how long I have left to submit my photos before the newsletter goes to print.
Whenever I have had a question, they have been really responsive at getting back to me. I honestly couldn’t ask for more.
Thanks so much Tale Trove, we love you!

This is an amazing resource for older family! I started one for my Dad last year and he loves the monthly newsletter. It is good quality paper and a decent size. Super simple to upload images in a specific family WhatsApp group with the added bonus that we all share more images between us as well now! Taletrove is a small business so has an extremely personal touch. Sam is very responsive and helpful. I love it so much, I have now started one for another family member! And told all my friends. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

My grandma who is 90 and has received about 6 issues now and is absolutely delighted with them. She no longer uses any tech and living far away from us she doesn’t see many photos. The whole process couldn’t be easier, I simply send my photos and messages (along with other family members) to Taletrove via Whatsapp or email and they are turned into a little booklet newsletter of great quality and delivered to her door every month. We get reminders when the deadline is approaching to and the whole team have been great. My mum who uses her phone said that she wouldn’t mind one too because they are so nice to keep and look back on! Would highly recommend!

Such an easy and amazing idea, it has given us the opportunity to show Grandparents who live far away what their Great Grandchild has been up to and all of his achievements!
They don’t have any form of social media or mobile phones so this means they can see what he is doing in the long spaces of time we can’t visit!
Thank you TaleTrove for making it so easy and special!

My mum loves this Christmas present. She enjoys showing it to her sister and her friends. It is so simple to use, my siblings and I are all part of a WhatsApp group where we add our photos at convenient times for ourselves and Taletrove do the rest. Sam is wonderfully helpful.

I came across Taletrove on Facebook and immediately thought ‘what a great idea’!
Mum is 89 and definitely not into tech and her family are spread far and wide, so she doesn’t get to see grandchildren and great grandchildren very often. This is a great way for them to send photos to her and then presented in a format she can relate to. The newsletter is printed on quality paper and then posted direct to mum. It’s lovely that she can keep looking at it . Great idea. And amazing value at £7 a month

Such a wonderful idea. My 98 year old Grandmother was thrilled seeing all of her family in a well presented and quality printed photo magazine. The correspondence with Sam was so easy and it felt very personable

My wife's mum just turned 91. She is not into technology or social media. She was really feeling left out of family news. My wife found a mention of Taletrove and we signed up to try it out. To say that my mother-in-law likes it would be a massive understatement. Her second 'edition' should be sent out next week...but she has not stopped looking at the first! This is a great service for our older relatives that are not looking at Facebook everyday. My wife is beyond thrilled with this service. We live overseas and even though my wife calls her mum daily, you just can't beat a family specific 'newspaper' with pictures that she can show her friends. Absolutely wonderful service with great customer support!

Hello
They absolutely love it. My Nan and grandma aren’t on fb and live far away so don’t get to see everything going on in our lives. This keeps them updated and my aunty told me my Nan was “intensely scanning it and smiling.”
It sparks conversations that weren’t being had before.
It’s just the right amount of photos to find each month too.

We have a newsletter every month for our Dad who has dementia. We hope it helps him to remember his family. He enjoys reading about our antics!

Taletrove has been transformational for keeping my elderly relative in Australia part of the communication within the family. It’s also helped the people visiting her in her residential home able to start conversations about things meaningful to her. Sam at Taletrove has been patient and kind in helping us get to grips with how it all works and is incredibly thoughtful. I am SO pleased we found Taletrove, it’s meant a lot to our family.

My parents and mother-in-law love receiving their monthly Taletrove updates to see what we’ve been up to. It is so easy to do, ensures I capture photos throughout the month and creates a lovely little photo booklet as a keepsake - love it!

This is such an amazing idea, my mum can no longer cope with an iPad so only sees family photos when someone can visit her. She absolutely loves to be able to show it to other residents of her care home. She says she can’t stop looking at it. This is a lovely way of keeping her in touch with what happens in the family. It’s so easy to set up a what’s app group so all family members can contribute and you are kept updated about how many photos etc you have left. It is very good value for money especially as you can buy an annual subscription.
