Porting current number didn't work
I had it once and it was fine. Now I wanted to have a prepaid eSIM, porting my existing number. They simply gave me a new number and didn't cancel my current provider (which has a minimum cancellation period). I was therefore forced to continue paying.
As this wasn't too bad of an option, albeit a worse one than having switched to TalkTalk at the moment, for other reasons (and they have great offers), I stayed with them (Wingo).
Simply: I wanted my number ported, that's what the contract also said (after talking to the customer service) but this wasn't executed.

I realize I made a mistake…
I realize I made a mistake signing a contract with them. My SIM card arrived after 14 days! They said they had sent me the SIM, I was at home all these days and was checking my P.O. box 2-3 times per day, normally receiving all my mail but not theirs for some reason. So what this company did to fix that? Billed me for days I didn't have a SIM (20/11-5/12) and charged me 20 CHF for not receiving the SIM the first time, as this was somehow all my fault. It was a very disappointing experience and very bad customer service. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.
Update: Finally, on 5/1/2024, the situation was restored and the company credited me with the money it charged initially me for no reason. The overall experience although remains bad as the solution to a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place took too long to be provided and required many emails back and forth.

Best value for money
After 1 year, I have to admit that I had a very good experience with TalkTalk and their unbeatable "SwissDeal" abo that I got for CHF 11.- per month!
Their website is outdated but who cares? I can top up my account (even with a credit card!) so that I don't even have to think about my bills.
I never had any problem with them and I hope it will continue this way!

Incredibly difficult to get in contact with! I switched to the Swiss Unlimited deal, it was confirmed, but then the bill was 60 CHF/month! Not 24.95 CHF as advertised! Avoid at all cost, it's not worth it!

I have been using TalkTalk for more than 1.5 years and I have had an ok experience. The rate for swiss minutes, SMS and unlimited internet and 5GB was about 25CHF. If you need a bit more internet though, prepare to pay unproportionally more for it. What was outrageous was the fee of 40CHF, !!!160%!!! of my monthly rate, because I was late to pay 5CHF. This is simply not nice. However, in other cases, the company was happy to keep the extra money that I paid in advance, because the website was not working well. I talked to them on the phone, but there was no solution. From my side I understand, but it's not a company I'd like to support anymore.
On the good side, the signal was quite good in most locations of the world and the customer service quite responsive and helpful.
All in all, I think for my next contract I will prefer a more straightforward provider.

SIM / eSIM swap rip-off
I am a happy TalkTalk customer of the all inclusive 11CHF "Swiss Deal" contract. Concerning their mobile service itself I would give them 5 stars, however they do rip off their customers on the very basics of a mobile subscription, SIM card provisioning.
The initial (online) provisioning incl. physical SIM card costs 20CHF, which is OK. They do however monetize the zero marginal cost service of switching to an eSIM by gouging you for 40CHF! The same goes for switching back to a physical SIM or if you order a new SIM for any reason. In addition these services cannot be ordered online / via app but only via their help-desk.
For screwing their customers and not providing standard online self service options I deduct 2 stars.

prepaid fraud!
I bought a prepaid for 100GB. The fact that it is only 30 days valid is in VERY small print. And the 30 days start counting not from activation but from when the letter was sent. By the time I opened the letter, the credit was gone. This is fraud!

I find it important to share this to anyone wishing to sign with TalkTalk. Please read fine print. Unlimited internet is only for 40gb, then reduces to a ridiculously low speed. Talktalk has not caught up with competitors' pricing but seem to be a few years behind what is available in 2022.
Also, they sent a micro sim instead of a nano, which I did not discover until portability time. Never thought my 10 year old htc would be used for calling again! Talktalk, perhaps start using 3-in-one sim cards, which have been around for at least a year now?
As everything else, the website needs upgrading. It's atrocious.
Other than that, no complaints! :D Customer service answered fast, and it was an 0800 number too.
Update.
Great Customer Service. Keep it up.

Do Not Deal With TalkTalk Business
TalkTalk Business left me with no phone or broadband during my busiest period. I asked them to set me up with a temporary call divert to stop me from loosing business and they couldn’t even get that right. They eventually got it working after two weeks and when I put in a complaint the offer I got was this” Dear Robert,Thanks for your reply.
I would be happy to credit 2 weeks loss of service which would be £18.30.
Please let me know if you are happy for me to apply the credit and I will apply immediately before closure.”
Do not deal with TalkTalk Business they are an absolute joke!

Extremely bad! I was suposed to have all included outside Switzerland but my phone was completely off! No network at all. Client service is inexistent or extremely extremely rude. Do not use this provider! I am trying to get rid of it using a lawyer.

The shocking reviews here seem to be from Talk Talk UK mostly?
As for my experience, talk talk Switzerland is ok. The contract Details and instructions were poorly communicated at the start of the agreement and the customer support was comic, but the service seems good and the price is great. No complaints yet!

I have tried contacting the company for several months as my SIM card has not been working. Since January, I have not received service or help. I have tried calling, the contact through WhatsApp, emails and the contact form, none of which has given me help. I think this company is a scam and I would not recommend anyone to sign up for their service.
