NEVER again ...After working within tourism and airlines for years, I was chocked to see the lack of hygiene and proper hygiene in the restaurants.
The outside temperature was around 30 degrees, and all doors to the restaurant was hermeticly closed and we were denied to eat outside on the empty balcony.
If warm outside, it was unbarrable indside in a closed restaurant. The waiter had filled our drinking glasses before we entered the restauant. All bottles were open at the top, as well as the glasses. The water was 12-14 degrees instead of approx 5. If you asked for more water, the waiter just picked another bottle from the side table .. which had been standing there for hours.
People can become very ill with the bacterias in water. All bottles should be closed at the top, the bottles should be dish washed every day, and the water should be fresh.
The same procedure happen under every meal at the restaurant.
After dinner both evenings I went to see the breakfast restaurant, were toast and buns lay uncovered on the table .. free for any mouse or rat passing by ... or flie to take a poop !!! Further were ALL glasses filled with warm water from warm bottle ... the evening 12 hours BEFORE the breakfast restaurant was open.
A restataurant in Denmark will have to close down with such issues in the restaurants. I wonder how the hygiene standard for the hotels food when the cook is cooking?
I am sure the hotel was tip top in the 1970s - but nothing has changed since then, the entire place was not clean, no sense of food hygiene, lack of proper service.
Ex. was denied access to the sunny 30 degrees balcony to have my dinner !!!
Apparrently the hotel had some beer drinking young men ... who had "booked" the area .. They WERE allowed to sit there, and EAT their dinner ... We were again not allowed ... eventhough the balcony had 24 spare seats !!!!! 2 other swedish people was also eating in the balcony.
I ordered my steak medium, but luckily it was well done - hopefully no more bacterias.
Maybe its because we ordered through booking.com cheap fare, we most certainly got "cheap service"
About warm water and bacterias: "Vand skal betragtes som et levnedsmiddel på linje med fx mælk, hvis kvalitet og holdbarhed er afhængig af, hvordan du behandler det.
"Der er bakterier i alle levnedsmidler – også i vand. Disse bakterier får optimale forhold at udvikle sig i, hvis vandet er for varmt og samtidig står stille"
Du bør derfor lade det kolde vand fra din vandhane løbe mindst 2-3 deciliter, før du bruger det til te, kaffe eller som drikkevand."
I can say 100% - we will NEVER recommend this place or return !!!!
