Unreliable and incompetent

Unreliable and incompetent. To quote the MD, it's unfortunate we owe money to so many people. In spite of a promise to return our money we are still waiting nearly 2 years on, forcing us to start legal action.

Tangible Building Solutions

I cannot recommend them more highly. From the first to the last call, they were excellent. They managed everything in relation to the insurance company and the water damage claim. I was updated and kept informed throughout. Polite, professional and nice people. Had a fantastic outcome with no stress or wrangling with the insurance company. They took care of everything. I sat back and they dealt with it. Absolutely delighted with this company. If you have a building problem and thinking of claiming through your insurance, use these people. Remarkable

Three cheers for Tangible

My insurance company tried to say my claim was worth £400. Without the help of Jack and the team I wouldn't have had my claim honoured I now have settled at 25k to complete the damage to my house from a flood 18 months ago. My insurance company tried to stop the claim for some reason everyway they could investigators lies and cover ups most people would have given up. I'm so glad I had Tangible behind me taking care of it all as the stress this has caused me has been horrendous. Highly recommend them

Water Damage Claim

I unfortunately had a leak in my loft casing damage to the landing,airing cupboard, stairs and bedroom. The insurers subsequently advised that they could only pay the sum their approved repairers could do the work for and would not let me use my own builders as they were more expensive. I subsequently received a cash offer which was totally inadequate and did not reflect the market rates. I therefore asked Tangible to assist with the negotiations on my behalf. Both Mark Willins and Jack Porter we brilliant. They arranged for their own surveyor and took over all negotiations with the insurers. I was kept advised of all the developments and three weeks after instructing them, an amended offer was received and settlement concluded. The settlement offer was over 300 % more than the one originally made. I highly recommend using Tangible.

I found Tangible Building Solutions Ltd…Outstanding

I found Tangible Building Solutions Ltd purely by chance whilst searching on Google for someone who could give me some advice regarding a difficult insurance claim.
What luck, I had finding this company. From the first phone call I had with Mark, who was so professional and told me exactly where I was going wrong. He arranged to come and see me and was so knowledgeable, I signed up with them without hesitation.
Once everything was agreed Jack took over the case, Jack was also excellent and very professional.
He dealt with everything and was in constant contact with insurance company, who were dragging their heels.
The outome was more than I could have hoped for and I was really pleased, I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Highly recommended, thrilled with final settlement

Mark initially visited for a site visit to give us a steer on the level of damage sustained at our property and guided us through the process of making an initial claim. Following this, Jack dealt with the claim on our behalf, liaising with the loss adjuster and fighting to get us an equitable settlement.

Jack and Mark have an inside knowledge of the domestic insurance industry and we were delighted with our final settlement figure. Tangible were transparent regarding their pricing structure and fees, and we definitely received more compensation overall less Tangible's fee, than we would have without their help. I'd highly recommend their service to take a lot of the stress away from dealing with insurers.

Excellent Customer Service - Fast Response

What a fantastic company. Outstripped my expectations in dealing with my insurance claim. We have just received the money from our insurance company, far in excess of what they were offering us direct. Dealt with Jack Porter and couldnt have been served better. Will definatley be using them again.

Insurance Claim

Have just received my settlement following a water leak in our longue ceiling. Mark and his team dealt with everything on my behalf which took away all the stress and resulted in a settlement that was over 600% higher than my insurance company's opening offer! The communication from the team throughout was superb and I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs to make a similar claim.

I had the misfortune of dealing with my…

I had the misfortune of dealing with my insurance company Policy Expert / Trinity Claims after a severe flood in December 2022.
I realised after my first phone call what I would be dealing with & decided to get external help to back me up and help me fight the case. I contacted Mark 2 days before Xmas and immediately instructed him. He gave some invaluable advice & there were points Mark raised that I wouldn’t have known about & Trinity Claims would have got away with. It’s definitely beneficial to have someone help who has been in the insurance world and knows how they operate & also how they try to manipulate the average Joe.
For this reason it’s worth paying to have the extra support.
Mark & I would speak several times a week & he was always available for help & guidance.
I would definitely recommend this company.

Quick resolution with minimal fuss.

I have just completed my dealings with Tangible. I did have some reservations about using them at first due to some mixed reviews that seemed at odds with my calls and meetings with them. I need not have worried as I was always kept in the loop, they chased everything down quickly and kept the communication up weekly so I always knew where things were and that they were progressing. Mark and Jack were extremely knowledegable and really took the stress out of our situation.
I can highly recommend Tangible to deal quickly and efficiently with your claim.

I would like to give a hugh thank you to Mark At Tangible claims solution’s
I had a very serious leak and without his professional knowledge, advice and help I would never have been able to get the claim finalised. He handled all correspondence with the Insurance company and he always kept me up to date. He worked extremely hard on my very complex insurance claim. Nothing was too much for him. Customer service was first class, I would have no hesitation in recommending him. Thanks to him my claim was settled in full! Thank you so much, I could never had done it without you!

Excellent service from Tangible

I had a leak in April 2022 and RSA the insurance company only decided to pay the just deserved monies in July 2023. Over a year living in a mess, Mark the MD fought tooth and nail to get things sorted (slight blip with one advisor in the middle who has since left). We were offered a quarter of the ammount it would have cost to repair. (Beware - never accept the insurance companies offer as they really do take the mick!!) Mark knows how to talk to the insurance companies, if it wasn't for him the complaint may still be ongoing. So thanks to all the team especially Andy and Martin who completed the job well under my watchful eye and they never complained :-)

Highly recommended

Mark Wilkins of Tangible Claim Solutions was recommended to us in May this year, after we had waited over 4 months with no resolution of our buildings and contents insurance claim. A valuable service I would recommend to my friends

I used Mark and the team to help us navigate an insurance claim following significant water damage to my property. I can not thank Tangible Building…

I can not thank Tangible Building Solutions enough. They dealt with 2 of my claims for water leak and both were successful. Jack @ Tangible Building Solution is the best person to deal with. Very profesional and experienced, he kept updating me on every step of my claim. He helped me so much and I don’t think I would be successful without his help. Contact Jack if you need any help as I never dealt with anyone more helpful and in such profesional way. I highly value his expertise and experience in this field. The customer service I received is 5 star! Thank you Jack. It was a pleasure to deal with you and I should say: hopefully I will speak to you again but hopefully no more water leaks!

Highly recommend Tangible Building…

Can’t recommend Tangible Building Solutions highly enough. After a major water leak that ruined most of our downstairs they jumped right into action to get the claim process underway, arranging drying services and handling all contact with our insurers (who as to be expected were not super helpful!).

They constantly chased for a quality resolution and managed to get us a claim payment much higher than initially offered by the insurer! A special mention to Jack Porter whose experience dealing with these cases is evident in his knowledge and persistence!

Thanks for all the help!

Amazing!

After initially being told by my insurance company that I do not have a valid claim, my wife found Tangible Building Solutions.
Once Tangible was involved, the claim progressed to my satisfaction. Tangible were very considerate, went the extra mile and also kept me in touch throughout the whole process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Keep up the great work guys!

AVOID - They will take your money and not complete the work!

I echo the previous reviews about this company. They took a large sum from our insurance company, failed to do any work and when asked to refund the money they are full of nonsensical excuses. It's been over a year since we instructed them and have had no work carried out and no money to complete it ourselves so we are having to take them to court.

I urge everyone who has the misfortune of dealing with them to report them to Trading Standards and the Financial Ombudsmen.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I instructed TBS in Feb 22 to help with an insurance claim following a leak of water. Initially, there was no problem - Sam was knowledgeable and helpful in dealing with the insurance company.
TBS received 50% of the insurance settlement in the middle of May 22, and this was when matters deteriorated.
31st May I was advised that TBS had appointed a contractor to do the work. After months of false promises and no sign of any contractors, I threatened legal action. Oddly a builder was suddenly found to come to see the work involved. This was early Dec 22, and I never heard from or saw the builder again.
In Jan 23 TBS conceded they were unable to find a contractor, and promised to repay the insurance money within 7 days. It is now March, no surprise there is no repayment, and now they refuse to answer my emails, and do not respond to my solicitor's letters.
I posted a comment on the MD's Linked In account - and obviously he was embarrassed about my truthful comments about no work and no repayment and promptly blocked me !
The FD does exist, but is no better. A 76 year old full of lame excuses about the non payment. He has also now blocked me from phoning or texting him. The "legal assistant" is just as bad. She claimed they would not repay the VAT element of the claim until HMRC had "agreed" to refund it - as anyone with a basic understanding of VAT knows this is a complete load of nonsense.
TBS are probably on the verge of going under.
Read the reviews and make your own minds up.
As an update - they have finally partially refunded the monies to the insurance company. They have withheld the VAT - not a small sum.
I echo other reviews - report them to Trading Standards, the ombudsman and also their principal firm for their FCA accreditation, Crowthorne Insurance.
