Tap Lever broke just after a year

Tap Lever broke just after a year. Have contacted the firm THREE TIMES for help to purchase a replacement. They have ignored all these messages so I am now stuck with having to buy a whole new one . VERY UNHAPPY customer. Don't use them if you want after sales service.

Lever broke 2 months ago -February, so just after a year as I quoted!

I agree a replacement was sent free of charge (was initially impressed)and unfortunately did not fit so I contacted but have never received anything back!

However I have had a workman AND a plumber advise me the inside of the lever has a stripped thread! I obviously cannot photograph inside. So please do not contradict me.

Also if you needed more time, a short email to advise would have been sufficient.

As for not receiving my emails, none were returned undelivered and I used the CS email twice and online contact form once

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

While we understand your frustration, we do not agree with the timeline of events as described. Your tap was ordered in January 2025 and came with a one-year guarantee.

You contacted us at the end of March 2026 with three emails to report that the lever had broken and sent us an image of the handle. However, the image showed the thread intact. We immediately responded, asking you to simply screw the handle back in. During the day, we replied to several of your emails, trying to find a solution. You then informed us that the handle could not be screwed back in. We sent the image you provided to the manufacturer, who confirmed the thread was undamaged and advised screwing the handle back in.

In the meantime, we informed you that the tap as a whole product was out of stock and offered to send a tap handle with a lever that may fit (matt black), which you agreed to. The lever was sent to you free of charge, and we also covered the cost of delivery. We sent the handle via next-day delivery, knowing your plumber would be with you the following week. Therefore, we believe that the version of events you described does not reflect the reality.

The following week you informed us that the handle did not fit and requested further assistance. We did receive your other messages and were actively working on a solution. A delivery of products is on the way; however, due to the current global situation, the delivery time to our warehouse cannot be precisely estimated.

We completely understand your urgent need for the lever, and we simply required some extra time to ensure the correct solution could be arranged, even though the tap is outside of the guarantee.

Customer service very good.

The tap unit itself when it arrived was faulty, but they refunded the money for the faulty item very quickly and with no issues. If ordering a tap, choose a good quality item that they sell rather than taking a chance on a cheaper priced item. Happy though with the customer service for sure.

Great Products & Customer service

Late at night, I contacted the company via chat for a copy of the manual for a lighted mirror that my electrician installed. I was told that I would receive this in the morning, which I did receive the next day. Very happy about a company doing what they said they would do.

The mirror itself is of very high quality and works an absolute dream. I highly recommend Tapron.

Excellent Customer Service

Ordered a Douche Kit, there was a slight error and part of the kit was missing. Contacted Tapron and they couldn't have been more helpful and the missing item was delivered next day. Kit also appears to be great quality and the customer I installed it for was really pleased with it.

Outstanding quality and customer service.

I ordered and paid online for 2 items from Tapron. After a couple of days I received an email to say they were no longer stocking the items I’d ordered, but to tell me they could provide upgraded (and considerably more expensive) items for the same price. Did I want to go ahead? You bet I did!!! What could be better? An upgraded, more expensive item but for the same price. You can’t get fairer than that. Great customer service! The items duly arrived. I was delighted with the quality…. more importantly, the customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tapron.

Tap arriived not in good condition

My Tap arriived, the box looked like it had better days, no instructions in the box? And when I picked up the tap to inspect it, had an oil of some sort over it and the colour was different to what was shown on the website, I've been told I have to send it back and get a maximum of £10 to do so lol this is not acceptable at all, I'm very disappointed.

I bought two mirror cabinets from Tapron. On arrival, one of the mirror doors was was cracked badly. I received excellent customer service from Anna and a replacement was sent out quickly. When the cabinets were being installed the fitter found that one of the glass shelves was broken. I again contacted Anna and again a replacement was sent out quickly. No quibbles.Great service!

Striking polished gold kitchen sink tap

A range of different and interesting products which seem to come at a higher than average standard. Very happy with the look and feel of our new gold tap, service quick. For a £200 tap I do think delivery should be free of charge but maybe the price reflects that.
