Would not recommend this Tasker for electrical work
Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The Tasker arrived over an hour late and appeared to rely on YouTube instructions to complete what should have been a routine fan installation. The job took more than three hours, far longer than expected. Throughout the appointment, he was flirtatious and unprofessional, which made me uncomfortable. At the end, he also asked to be paid outside of the TaskRabbit app, which was inappropriate. While the fan was ultimately installed, the overall experience lacked professionalism, efficiency, and expertise. I would not hire this Tasker again or recommend him to others.

Worst service ever!
I am expecting a person to assembly my furniture and noone has shown up. When calling the customer service number,no agents is available to assist and the phone call drops.Using the app is a joke. And Ikea is not reaponsinle because they are a third party.

Dissapointing so far and a waste of time
It's been two days now and apparently taskrabbit can't find me a "helper". I got an excellent deal on some furniture, which I wouldn't have bought otherwise, knowing I didn't have other delivery options. What a dissapointment and waste of time, and it doesn't seem like taskrabbit is really trying to help.

There is no alternate option to receive the verification code as it goes to the same phone your calling on. By the time you find the code, the log on access has expired. The idiots who created this process should consider a email option.
The developers at TaskRabbit are ducking idiots. The code expires fadt.

My tasker never showed up and redeemed the payment from the app.
Will not use this app again. There should be some way to assure that the work gets completed or at least the the tasker shows up before they can get paid.

I have not been able to get through to TaskRabbit or Dolly ( are they the same? Who knows!). Ikea says now that the item was given to Dolly...
I keep calling, and nobody is helping me. Where should I call? Your website is useless, there is no help. I sent two messages already and the response is "No helper has been assigned to your delivery". So? Should I assign the "helper" myself??
You are absolutely incompetent. Please, give:
- A phone number with an extension
- A name of a human being I can speak to
- A written statement confirming my item will be delivered today.
Incompetence and arrogance. This is what you're offering since I paid for my delivery service.
Absolutely the worst delivery experience I have ever had!
I purchased an item from IKEA and specifically paid for delivery because I had arranged for someone to assemble it the following morning. The item was supposed to be delivered within a designated time window.
The delivery never arrived.
I spent hours trying to find out where my order was. Calling was useless because the phone lines were down due to "technical issues." IKEA could not provide any meaningful assistance, and Taskrabbit Delivery appeared to be completely unreachable. At that point, nobody seemed to know where my purchase was.
The next evening, around 8 p.m., I received a text message from someone claiming to be an independent contractor working with Taskrabbit. He asked if he could deliver the item the following evening at 8:30 p.m. I agreed.
The following day came and went. No delivery. No communication. No explanation.
At 10 p.m., after waiting all evening, I texted him asking where he was. His response was astonishing: "They didn't give me the task, sorry."
So after multiple days, I still have no item, no delivery, and no answers.
Because of this fiasco, I also had to pay the person who came to assemble the furniture, even though there was nothing for him to assemble. I paid for a scheduled delivery service that never happened, wasted hours trying to get information, and was left completely in the dark.
The entire process was disorganized, unprofessional, and unbelievably frustrating. No accountability, no communication, and no customer support.
I still don't have my item. No idea where it is.
Avoid this service at all costs.
