I hired David to install new wall lights, but he was also able to bolt a large bookcase to the wall for me making it secure during earthquakes. David is also very personable and I enjoyed chatting with him while he worked.

Our Tasker was very good, punctual, helpful and did a great job. We are very happy with the service we got.

We had a terrible experience with Task Rabbit, we had two people assemble our furniture, they drilled the holes incorrectly on 2 doors for the handles and use rough filler to try and disguise it, they also completely ruined one of the wardrobe frames by using their own big screws instead of the ones Ikea provided, they split the case and tried to put filler over it, the door was left hanging off. One of the drawers was all snapped underneath and they put the bed together incorrectly leaving lots of gaps. Very untidy work and the customer service was appalling, it took 12 days to get a response and a battle to get funds back, still waiting now 20 days after initial complaint.

Everything was fine. Posting, replies, booking payment and, of course, Rafael. I only missed the possibility to be contacted at my phone (UK number). As nowadays everybody uses WhatsApp, I think that the mandatory Portuguese contact number is out of date. I’d strongly suggest for a new system, which to me would worth 5 stars.
