Cannot Stop Annual Memberships

I signed up for a Tastemade three-month trial membership through T-Mobile in June. I received an email from Tastemade stating that I needed to renew an annual membership. I canceled the membership knowing that I had no further interest in their content.
I signed up for the account via PayPal because I do not trust most of these companies not to pull from my bank account.
Their automated system continued to tap my PayPal account until this afternoon (September 17, 2025), and they withdrew $49.95 from my account.
I tried to dispute the charge with PayPal. I have tried to do so, but they won't let me.
I do not recommend using PayPal or any bank account for Tastemade. There are sites where you can make debit cards and not have this happen.
