Fantastic premium-looking products!

Fantastic product! It is a great way to be introduced to new kinds of whiskys and it's a great gift to give to someone who enjoys whiskys as well. I've purchased this both as a gift for a colleague of mine in Sweden and for myself. It was incredibly well received by my colleague and here at home, we are enjoying the various flasks and the booklet with a short description of each of the whiskys presented. The packaging looks very posh and sophisticated, giving that 'premium look and feel' and the feeling that you have something exclusive - that is a very nice experience.

Great service and communication

I wanted to order a tasting collection but didn't want to rely on mail-order companies. So I called them, and fortunately there was an alternative option (as an exception). The delivery was super fast, the communication was very friendly and the result was a fantastic gift! Tremendous!

Total disaster: 29 days without delivery, lies and incompetence

A month of hell with Tasting Collection
Order placed on August 4th, 2025 for €200. It’s now September 2nd and I still haven’t received anything. 29 DAYS of cascading failures.
Timeline of disaster:
August 4: Order placed, promise of “immediate processing”
August 18: Colis Privé claims “couldn’t deliver” - FALSE, no delivery person ever showed up
August 26: New appointment scheduled - NOT RESPECTED
August 28: Another confirmed appointment - MISSED AGAIN
September 2: Colis Privé unilaterally changes delivery address to 30 min walk from my office!
Their carrier’s lies:
Colis Privé (chosen by Tasting Collection) generated false reports claiming I had “refused the package.” This is a complete lie. I was present at my workplace, no delivery person ever showed up, no delivery notice was left.
Failed customer service:
• Over 1 hour wasted on phone with Colis Privé
• TC customer service hiding behind “ongoing investigation”
• Insulting offer to refund shipping costs (€8.95) after a month of waiting
• Refusal to take responsibility
Time and money lost:
• Multiple waits until 7PM at my workplace
• Lost professional productivity
• Considerable stress and frustration
• €181 blocked for a month
Conclusion:
AVOID this company. They choose incompetent carriers (Colis Privé has terrible reviews everywhere) and refuse to take responsibility when things go wrong. A month to deliver a package within France is pure amateurism.
I strongly advise against Tasting Collection. Their after-sales service is non-existent and they will waste your time and money.
Recommended alternative: Buy directly from serious wine merchants who actually deliver to their customers.
30 days waiting and still nothing received as of September 2nd, 2025

As communicated in our recent email, we have now requested that the package will be returned to us, following your clear refusal to collect it from the designated pickup point, a decision we fully understand given the repeated delivery failures. While we realize this is not the resolution you were hoping for, we believe it is the most efficient way to bring closure to this situation promptly. Of course, you will receive a full refund as soon as we have received the package back.

Regarding the delivery issues: although we work with several carriers, including Colis Privé for shipments within France, delivery performance is unfortunately outside of our direct control. When issues occur with local carriers abroad, we must initiate an investigation via our primary Dutch logistics partner. This indirect process can take up to several weeks, which we agree is far from ideal, especially in urgent or time-sensitive cases.

We truly regret the time and energy this has cost you. Your case has been reviewed in detail with our logistics and customer care team, and your feedback will be used internally for improvements.

Once again, our sincere apologies for this disappointing experience, and thank you for your patience throughout.

Excellent Gift, Excellent Customer Service

I was ordering from Brussels and I needed a personalised message. Since this is not yet an option for international orders, I called the office and the lady I got on the phone by the name of Nicole came through for me. She was very patient, stayed on the phone with me until she received the order and guided me through how to send the message by email. I placed the order on Friday and got it before midday on Saturday. Kuddos, and thank you for excellent customer service.
