Do something Tasty.
I don't know what is happening of recent. Tasty used to be my favourite place when ordering food both in person and online. The taste of every food from jollof rice to eforiro, assorted meat stew is horrible. I had to throw away my last order. The meat was uncooked,stew was tasteless, I can't even begin to describe the jollof. This is not fair on customers and I do hope you will put your house in order. I order food because I want something different and nice and not some awful tasting food.

Dear Tasty,
I am highly disappointed with your ordering service.
I had called to place a bulk order of puff puff and was told i would be called back from catering.
Firstly I had called back and spoken with a staff who informed me that I should refresh website in 10 minutes to make the order.
After 30 minutes of refreshing said website,nothing! I have called back multiple times too both the catering department and the customer service department to no avail.
I am at a loss as to why ordering should be so complicated or confusing.
It would have been much better for me to be informed that my order cannot be made at this time and have to do something else with my precious time rather than giving me the bloody run around.
I will take my service elsewhere. Where other competitors can take phone orders or have a seamless website that enables you to do what you want. Tasty is here in 2025 acting like we are in 2001.
Sad state of events. Just wanted to let you know.
Highly disappointed
I normally go into the Dartford branch to get bits like puff puff, fish, chicken and I'm satisfied so that is why my experience of the ready meals is heart breaking. I'll start with the assorted meat stew. It was NOT cooked! It tasted as if they had just blended the ingredients and put straight into the container without cooking it. This also left me practically fighting for my life on the toilet for HOURS! The jolloff had no seasoning, I'm yet to taste their togolese beans but I'm not getting my hopes up. This is extremely disappointing as I said I haven't had any issues in the past.

Stones in Beans
Bought two portions of Togolese beans yesterday and both were served with stones. This is not the first time. It is wrong to be feeding customers with stones which could damage customers' health.
Cheating & gross dishonesty.
I’m reporting this because it’s the 2nd time of been deceived by 2 different sales ladies in Tasty at Barking & Ilford. Yesterday, 17/02/25 I was sold moyinmoyin in leaf wrapper (NOT in plastic) for £2.50. It wasn’t warmed up as I didn’t need the service but was told the price was £2.50. Today, 18/02/25, I visited the Barking branch; on enquiry, I was told that moyinmoyin in leaf wrapper costs £2:08 only, except I want it warmed at an additional/extra charge. I find such difference in price(s) of the same commodity within the same organisation/franchise disappointing and dishonest. I suggest that price list(s) of the different food items sold should be conspicuously displayed for customers to see in all the branches. I have since learnt to check the correctness in the number of portions of puff-puff sold, as I had once been sold fewer numbers than I paid for.

Bad practice
How can a restaurant charge you to microwave the food that you’ve just bought? Why is there an extra charge to heat up food that’s supposed to be served hot? Very money grabbing!!!!
Disappointing Service
I ordered food from the Belvedere branch with a promised 15-minute delivery. However, after two hours, a staff member called to say the driver had attempted delivery, but I wasn't home. This was incorrect, as I was waiting in my living room and have a Ring Doorbell to confirm. When I requested a refund, the staff claimed it was 'impossible' and instead offered for me to collect the food. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the experience and won't be returning ever again.
Christmas Eve colossal disaster at Barking branch
What a colossal disaster it was on Christmas Eve at the Barking branch. Imagine 30 customers in a tiny shop waiting for their bulk Christmas orders to arrive and the shop manager couldn’t confirm when our orders were going to arrive. I had a scheduled pick up for 12:30 yet the delivery van did not arrive until 5pm. After which there was a chaotic scramble to retrieve one’s order with an absence of systematic distribution. When I opened my box of meat pies at home, it was missing 2 from the order. This is the worst I have seen of this shop and unlikely to make future orders from them. If I could give zero rating, I would because that’s what they deserve.
On Xmas eve of all days!
On Xmas eve of all days the Barking branch was like a battlefield. Over 20 customers waiting for pre-booked orders. Items not delivered and nobody can explain why or how. The tragedy of the Nigerian businessman/woman is that s/he simply does not care. I have just wasted 2 hours of travel to collect items pre-paid for only to return home empty handed. Can somebody (anybody) tell me why I should order even a grain of sand from this business in future.
The update on this as of the 29 December is that I wrote to Tastys asking for a refund of my money. There was no reason why they should hold on to it. There has been complete radio silence. Yesterday, to complete what might be seen as a hilarious comedy, I received an email asking me to complete a satisfaction survey. You could just not make it up.
My next correspondence to them will be a formal demand for my money otherwise we will be going to the county court
The horror of tasty African restaurant
So I went to tasty African restaurant in Catford. Honestly, the owner needs to change their whole staff. I went on a Saturday and normally the closing time according to their business is 9pm. I got there at 4:20pm and nearly everything had finished. I ordered 4 beef rolls, 2 fishpies and 1 mid wing turkey. One of the fishpies fell on the floor and the server picked it up and wanted to put it in my order, I protested and requested for another one. She was even unapologetic. On getting to my car, as I bit into the fishpies, there was onion (skin) I mean the wrapper covering the onion inside - it was unappealing to say the least. Furthermore, one of the beef rolls turn out to be fish roll, apparently, the had mixed all the pastries together.
The customer service was zero, unfriendly, impolite and the list goes on.
The tasty in Peckham is worse, the servers are just mannerless and plain rude.
Disappointing service from the Plaistow branch
This is regarding the Plaistow branch. It's a shame with this place, just when you decide to give them another chance they end up disappointing. It has happened on multiple occasions where I've ordered food over £50 worth buy always with an item or two missing. The lack of care in service is shocking to experience. I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere if you want better-tasting Nigerian cuisines.
Poor Service Low quality food
Absolutely horrible customer service from the catford branch. The young lady who served us was very condisending, rude and showed no respect whatsoever to the customers.
In addition, the quality of the food has also detrioted recently and needs to be looked into ASAP.

I ordered Eba and oha soup. Only to be served a stale Eba that they microwaved. How on earth would you serve someone stale Eba for goodness sake.
Also , why do you always have large chunk of bone in your soup all in the name of Cow leg . If you must put cow leg put boneless one, they sell cow leg that the bone have been removed

Am addicted to Tasty meat pie, its the best meat pie in london, I order in bulk online and collect in Tasty branch, I feel Tasty should be flexible and allow customers to collect in Tasty branches/outlets closer to their post codes/homes.

Went to the catford branch. The pounded yam was horrible. They charged to warm up the okro and egunsi and it was still frozen in the midddle when I got home. Definitely was not value for money. I was really upset with my purchase and the quality of food I got

I went to the Catford shop. The food wasn't the best, and the staff had a strange attitude with no customer service skills. I ordered jollof rice and suya beef, and when the server retrieved it from the back, I saw her remove the price tag. She probably overcharged me. I will never go there again.
Taisty Restaurant charged £17 for hurrible ordered food…
Taisty charged £17 for a very small ogbono stew an Amala like one lad spoon to eat the amala. It is the stew that's really matter to improve my taste. I can never recommend you to anyone.
