Big shout out to your driver delivering to Weeton village today 14th April 2026. He stopped his vehicle and turned the engine off twice for us horse riders. Huge thanks and well done Tates for your courteous driver.

Unfortunately I didn’t check the oil level and on a late, cold , wet Thursday evening realised we were on empty. I sent an email hoping for a first thing reply. I also rang at 8 am the next morning, call answered and the lady explained the sales team were not in yet but would call me back. 10 minutes later Darcy called, she’d also seen the email, she spoke to the driver, organised 500ltrs to be delivered early afternoon , Friday!! Unbelievable service, so friendly, helpful, thank you Darcy. The driver ( sorry didn’t get his name) lovely guy, polite, explained the situation really well on the current supply challenges. Thank you so much, got us out of a massive hole, a rural delivery, within 18 hours of running out, no extra fees, brilliant !, thank you & well done, will never use anyone else👍

Tate Oil were brilliant yesterday. Was worried I was running out of oil, I contacted them on Sunday evening. On Monday morning first thing, they let me know that they would sort it out that day and duly did.
Great service. Highly recommend.

During this time of international turmoil Tate's continue to strive to honour commitments and remain competitive. Our delivery came on time and at the price quoted in spite of the escalation of problems.

As we was let down by another oil company I rang Tate oil and spoke to Darcey who could not have been more helpful no only did she get our oil to us ahead of schedule she followed up with regular update and because of her I would only recommend Tate oil and I will never use any other company’s thanks again Darcey

We've used Tate Oil for several years now. Recently (just before the current oil price got out of hand), we placed an order on a 10 day delivery.

Tate Oil delivered today, on promised date and at the price they originally quoted. No nonsense about cancelling orders and hiking the price up, they met their original commitment and we thank them for this .

When I called first thing this morning, having run out of oil totally (If only I hadn't missed your call last week!), Matty told me he'd look into when I could get delivery and call me back. I was so relieved when he said you can deliver tomorrow, especially following the events of the last 48 hours in the Middle East.

The office staff are very personable while remaining polite & courteous.
Holding a little background information on a customers site is essential for the their drivers but it also goes a long way to making that customer feel special when placing further orders with the office staff.
Deliveries take place as arranged.

I called this morning as we had run out of oil without even realising we were low. Constance called round all the drivers for me and they are delivering tomorrow. It would have been today but access through our farm is steep and we can only have a mini tanker. Absolutely fantastic customer service, she had to call me back a couple of times and she was so friendly and helpful. I used to place my orders with Angel but apparently she's in another team now. Both ladies are a credit to you.

Ran out of fuel and was very desperate. My account manager Ben and I believe he said his name was Marty, sorted me out on the fuel so very happy house we are now. Massive thanks to Ben and Marty, especially Marty who was very helpful

What amazing, friendly, helpful customer service. I have spoken to Laura the last couple of times when ordering my oil. She has gone out of her way to help me as I ran out and this is my first year using oil. What an asset to the company.

Simple, efficient and friendly - with NO HARD sales.

We have been using Tate Oil for many years now and despite the natural market fluctuations, Tate's attitude has always remained consistent. Carl has managed our account for many years and is a absolute credit to the sales team and will do his upmost to accommodate those 'last minute' orders as well as the tricky ones that other suppliers wont entertain.

Its a breath of fresh air calling a supplier, being spoke to with respect and not be hounded after obtaining a price.

Delivery driver Cameron was very polite, helpful and professional, called 15 minutes ahead of the delivery to ensure that all was ok.

My husbands mum is 80 and lives 3 hours away from us with a live in carer as she has dementia and lost her husband a year ago. The oil ran out on Saturday evening so I phoned Tate Oil at 8am this morning who she has an account with. Spoke to Stacey - amazing lady, she rang a driver who was in the area and rang me back a couple of minutes later advising he could deliver 500 litres TODAY!! We can't thank Stacy enough - superb customer service!!
Updated - Stacey called back an hour later to let me know the driver was there delivering the oil already - WOW!

I have been a customer of Tate Oil for several years. I had a delivery early yesterday morning, but unfortunately there were two cars parked near the access to my tank. The driver had to park nearly at the limit of his delivery line. He managed to deliver the fuel without any fuss dispite having to struggle. He went above and beyond, well done.
