Customer service is good, Software is intuitive, and overall experience was good. However, it’s frustrating for me to get my data from eToro and Cash App. I would feel much more confident in my tax documents if there was a better integration. I sunk a lot of time in to getting the correct data uploaded. Im happy to pay for taxbit if it saves myself time. However, in my experience it was less convenient.

You made securing my crypto info very easy and efficient.

The only drawback was that I couldn't integrate your information into the tax preparation software (TaxSlayer.com) that I used automatically; I had to enter all of the trades manually.

I tried a competitor and had a poor experience. Heard about TaxBit from a trusted YouTube channel and was not disappointed. I used TaxBit to file my 2020 crypto taxes and it provided exactly what my accountant needed. Easy to track cost basis - a MUST for this data /numbers geek. I recommend TaxBit to my crypto homies. Very pleased so far!

I created two accounts and paid using Google login, paid my Taxes Lost all my data access. Michael promised to get my reports and data access switched to account using my secure email address. It has been weeks not done yet! He demonstrated to me my data not lost using a screen capture…now I just need to be able to login with my new email. Ticket: #23238

I would really love to use this product to track (and provide real-time advise on tax implications), however, being UK citizen, living in UK, the TaxBit App currently doesn't support. When it does, I will be very keen to use TaxBit

I think there are things taxbit does well. The software is helpful once you get it working.

The main issues were it imported the data in lifo and it should have been fifo, it took about a month working with support to figure that out. I had to do so much on my own to figure out the issues, no one ever looked at my situation and tried to talk me through it. The support people were not trained to look into the issues i reported and provide expertise or answers, they only act as a go between for questions to the real support techs.

Honestly, it was pretty basic and i dont understand why so much time was wasted. Support gave canned responses and when i finally did get personal help they didnt provide any answers or insight. I had to contact support days in a row for hours at a time before the rep remembered me and jumped the line to ask an expert. Imagine if the problem didnt have such a basic solution, Im not confident we would have ever solved the issue.

In the future i may not use taxbit, that remains to be seen. You will need to add more functionality to it so i can import all the data without having to go through the whole thing. You will also need to figure out a better process to work out the problems ppl have with your software. It took almost up until the date taxes were due to get a response that wasnt even helpful.

Honestly, im glad its over with, but i was very close to using a different taxprep for my crypto. Taxbit only got my business because of the effort i put in to making it work, which doesnt encourage me to try it again.

Taxes on crypto are still new. So new that TaxBit didn’t yet have all the info for my exchange. In one day they turned that around and I had what I needed. Works for me.

Very helpful and prompt with helping me resolve my issue. I will certainly be looking to use the service in the future!

It fully syncs with several but not all exchanges.

Great product and service at a reasonable price. This was my 2nd tax season using TaxBit. I plan to continue to use them.

Awesome service and really helpful for a new crypto guy.

It was advertised that transaction history could be connected to TurboTax and it was NOT true at all. Paid the money for absolutely nothing.

So far I’m still out of jail!

I really appreciated the help. I considered it well worth the time and money. Hopefully I can keep my ten year horizon intact and avoid any “taxable events”!

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THIS SPACE.....I approach everything nowadays with utmost caution, seems like you can't trust anyone or anything in today's world...that being said, Taxbit proved to be a refreshing breath of fresh air. The customer service, for me, was absolutely amazing, professional, and efficient. As I was getting my digital asset taxes organized, Taxbit reps were friendly, responsive, and helped me get the job done. GREAT JOB!!!
