DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
There has been another review for this company, that when I read it, I had to check I hadn't written it myself as the experiences are so similar.
Taylor Lloyd should not be allowed to trade.
After instruction, they were very quick to take our money, however they made multiple time-costing mistakes that they never took responsibility for. They submitted legal paperwork directly to court with false information that they doctored themselves without permission from us, they changed dates, they sent to the wrong address, they submitted it by throwing it in a post box and then didn't check on it for 6 weeks.
They argued with us when we complained, they refused to help us at all and then immediately cut contact with us so we couldn't raise the complaint any further.
After going through Citizens Advice and debt collectors, they have absolutely refused to accept any responsibility, let alone issue a refund for the money they took for shoddy work. I am convinced this is 2 guys in a pop up office with a third party contact centre, who actually have no real care for their clients or their situations.
If you need help with a landlord issue, DO NOT CONTACT TAYLOR LLOYD. They will take your money, waste your time, leave you in a situation worse than you were before and make you feel like its your fault. Could not recommend them any less.
They should be shown for the cowboys they really are, and I hope that you visit Trust Pilot before you give them any money.
Taylor Lloyd Eviction - negative experience
Taylor Lloyd boast "Everyday we help hundreds of landlords like you". They did not help me. They submitted a form to assist with an eviction. Submitted it late and to the wrong email address. They signed it in my name. And acted against my instructions. They have refused to refund, and now I have had to complete the matters myself.
Taylor Lloyd are very quick to take fees, but not very quick to answer the phone or complete their tasks. I have been deeply dissatisfied with their service.
I then conducted some due diligence and they claim two key things on their website,
"4.8/5 Independent Service Rating based on Verified reviews
As the proud recipient of the Platinum service awards 2021. "
There is no evidence of this anywhere online. Presumably these reviews would be visible somewhere? On one email it suggested this was based on 5144 reviews.... but these don't seem to exist anywhere.
Taylor Lloyd is a relatively new company (incorporated in July 2022), so instead I found a review under one of their dissolved companies Hector Finch Ltd from Sep 2021. It is titled :Review on 'landlordzone.co.uk' for Hector and Finch Law Ltd in Sep 2021 "don’t get caught out by shoddy evictions firms like I did".
They sometimes go under the name of Berkshire Consulting. So many different trading names should be a flag.
