TD Transfer department was completely unable to complete a transaction given SIX MONTHS time and two rounds of doing all the paperwork. Nothing but the runaround and excuses. I had to have a local bra... See more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
What is wrong with this company. They changed their website and now I cannot get into my account with my user name and password. Tried to call and waited more than an hour on hold until I gave up.
Terrible TD Long Island City
TD bank Long Island City is one of the worst if not the worst branch for the entire East Coast. This branch located on 2131 46th Avenue Long Island City, NY 11101 has the the worst employees especially jackie persuad ( the worst one),michael fonte and kamrun m nahar. Trash employees with deplorable service. TD bank hires employees like this you have to call into question their ability to bank properly. With horrible employees like this TD isn’t worth sticking around for.
Trying to access my Samsung account…
Trying to access my Samsung account after payment change. Online told me account locked and to contact customer service. Waited on hold for 3 hours and was hung up on!
Worst Support
Samsung migrated its credit account to TD Bank. Appearantly, they did not migrated existing UI/PW to the new platfrom. Can't login and the support phone is 66 min wait. Then disconnect. This is awful. Complete unacceptable.
I've used this bank for over 9 years
I've used this bank for over 9 years. They actually took money out of my CD, penalized me for early withdrawal. I notified them and it took 11 days to get my cd straight. They were very unapologetic about their mistake. I'm leaving them as soon as my CD matures.
Best customer service
Best customer service. I would like to commend Mohammed for looking after my request today at TD Bank- Britannia and Creditview, Mississauga branch, July 8 at 5:55pm. Thank you so much Mohammed for doing above and beyond! Special thanks to the branch managers Zalina and Lindsey for the accommodation and for making my request possible. The best team ever!
Stay away from TD for mortgage
Stay away from TD for mortgage. When i asked about re-mortgaging in pandemic at 1% they daid i needed to pay 8k outright. I asked about putting on principal, they said not possible. Come to find out later it was. When re doing mortgage in 2023 at 6+ % my td broker promised my variable wold flx with market. He lied. My raye stays the same with adjustments going to principal. Td are liars and thiefs. Avoid if u can.
Problem with Power of Attorney
I recently became the Power of Attorney for my dad's account and most times when I call the customer service line to get information or to provide them with information they ask me for an access card. My dad lives in Ontario and I live in Quebec. The Ontario branch told me that I would need an access card to be able to access his account but when I got to Quebec, they said that they don't provide access cards to Power of Attorneys anymore and that they just authenticate over the phone or in person. This is an issue almost every time I call and is a real hassle because I have to call again to get another representative that has more experience. I'm not sure if the problem is that the policies range from one bank to the next or that employees are not sufficiently trained on these matters.

TD POS system experience was horrible...
I just had the worst experience trying to get a POS terminal from TD. Strung me along into thinking it would be a seamless process and get me up and running. I cancelled my clover account and fully committed to TD. Then I was told ( at the last minute) that my company doesn't meet their criteria. I have a rental business that does over 200k a year. All in all I'm shocked and disgusted with my experience. But....There was a positive. After venting to the owner of very large company I deal with I was put on to GoDaddy POS. Lets just say i was up and running in 2 days with more customer support then i needed and it was cheaper then TD fees.
This the worst bank ever!
This the worst bank ever!! They tell you what you want to hear and take your money. The tellers clearly do not hove the correct traing. And management is even worst. So rude. Zachary Juszkiewics at the north charleston rivers location is a moron and has no idea how to do his job. And if he does than he looked me in my face and lied!!!!!
The Worst Savings Accounts?
While in general I have had no negative experiences with TD Bank, and I still use it as my primary bank, I found out last year that their savings accounts are some of the worst in existence. If you want a measly 2% A.P.Y. then you need a $10,000 minimum balance. Meanwhile just about every other bank offers 4% or more with far less of an entry point. Their service is fine, but if they want to compete with other banks they need to start having competitive rates. I started both an IRA and a standard savings account elsewhere because doing so through TD is just a total waste of time.
My brother died 7 months ago without a…
My brother died 7 months ago without a will. I finally had the surrogate courts acknowledge that I am the administrator - but the TD bank legal counsel won't allow the checking funds to be released without the presence of my living brother who is listed as a sibling - not an administrator. Ultimately the funds will be going to my living brother after my brother's obligations are paid. I asked TD to release 1/2 the funds as I have bills to pay on behalf of my brother. We are not talking about a huge amount of money either. Legal counsel through whatever they consider sage advice denied this request. After 3 visits and 30 minutes at TD bank I was told I need to drive 2 hours to where my living brother lives to have my living brother present for the withdrawal. So frustrating.
New and efficient login sucks
The new and highly efficient online system was designed by trogs. No links to the login I have used for many years; only requires a new access code, for which I was not alerted. 20+ years w/TD and over $75K on deposit. Even Vanguard sucks.
The customer service at the steinway…
The customer service at the steinway astoria branch its unprofesional, the usually have two tellers with a big line of customers waitting and unfriendly and unrespectfull employees seating at the tables doing nothing while the people its seating waiting to be served .
I just have another bad experience at this branch, while i was waitting to be called I saw the unprofesionals doing nothing making the customers wait and at the time that i was called they do not say hi ,they talk with unrespectul manners.
after my request was done this employee "sasha" at This particular time put
The paper work that i requested at
Her table But.s he never talked to me about it i had to askedi if everything was done and if the sheets were mine.
She just respond badly and never say good bye.
The time of waitting to be served at this branch its unreasonable as the employees are free waittng and ignoring the waitting line of people while they are at their tables making People wait
They should be trainned to be respecfull, Friendly competent , and profesionals And
quick employees as the lines grow Quickly
While their customers wait for
Their needs to be met.
This bank is holding money with no verifiable reason
This bank is holding money from contractors and subcontractors for upwards of 180days to make sure the money has no risk. How can you expect people to wait for 6 months to be paid thousands of dollars when they already have completed all the work?
Terrible bank
I have had a TD bank visa card for 8 years. I went to buy something from a large grocery store and the card declined.{embaressed of course} but just used a different card. I got home and noticed it had expired the month before. I called them to say "heh you never sent me a new card" The woman told me they didnt renew my card. I asked why? She said she didnt have to tell me why. Never been late, I had a balance of a few hundred dollars, None of it made sense. I dont know if this is Political? I said 'well thats bad business to not let me know why' She didnt care. I have recieved nothing in the mail explaining any of this. They were rude and unprofessional I will never do business with this bank again.

Americans Beware
Call center is so incompetent and unprofessional (a complete joke). Local branch is great, which is why I was torn about leaving this bad review. Had an account letting money sit for over 2 years and all of a sudden they started charging me a fee out of nowhere. Every time you call, they go through a Rolodex of bogus excuses of why they can’t help you. TD Bank is the worst!!! Pulled out all of my money and went to a Credit Union instead. Attempted to file a complaint with TD themselves, and was literally told I “couldn’t” because I don’t live in Canada!! Apparently if you are American they don’t have a complaint department, you can only file a formal complaint if you are Canadian. If you live in America don’t do business with TD Bank!!! Clearly they are only willing to assist you if you live in Canada!!!
I transferred ten thousand dollars from…
I transferred ten thousand dollars from my bank account at Td bank. International to a bank. It has been.
Over three weeks and the money has not arrived it to my account. Over a week ago I spoke to a representative Of a t d bank. They said they were going to start an inquiry. It has been a week since they made the inquiry and I have heard no response. Needless to say i'm going to close my account and seek legal counsel. I have had other problems with a td bank. I had a home equity line of credit with an agreement that they would charge me a half appointment Below prime. For 3 years they charge me one half point over prime. When I told them they were improbably charging me, They responded that they were charging me correctly. When I bring the agreement down to the bank to show them the actual agreement which they have a copy of. Is after much arguing they Eventually Gave me thirty eight hundred dollars of overcharging me. I don't believe this bank has honest intentions. I think they purposely change the rate hoping I Would not notice. Seriously.
