During my trial period (now) I received an email saying I need verification and services were haulted. I completed the information. That has been 4 days ago. The trial period is only 7 days. I would have paid by now but without verification or knowing how you all will handle my account, why would I pay money? And I’m still waiting as of now… I wanted to market and grow. This has been awful

I chatted with Teachable and got my answers immediately!

Always get the right answer. I would however prefer a faster response from the "real" people reply. The AI response is fast, but does not always solve the problem, and the help desk takes too much time to respond.

I love the Teachable platform A+ response and clarity rating. I'm still building and Teachable is by my side. Thank you so much!!!

for me it seemed like a rip-off.
you're only restricting me with 100 students. you're charging students more than the original price and you're still charging me 8% on transactions.
I am using Systeme.io now without all this greediness.

Terrible experience. Service stopped allowing anyone to purchase my program, I spent weeks trying to get in contact with someone, sent dozens of messages and after almost 2 months still have never had anyone get back to me. Had to cancel and close my course. Would never use again. High do not recommend.

Now that they are using AI for support the service has gone down dramatically. Building a new site I had a number of questions and sometimes it took days to get answers from real tech people. They have also become very expensive. They have reduced the number of courses you can have in each tier, forcing you to pay for top dollar tier. May look for another platform.

The whole system kept locking up and didn't seem stable. Also, I managed to publish my course sales page, but I don't understand the URL for the page where my customers can sign up.
I am still waiting for an explanation why my srt file from Camtasia would not work as advertised on Teachable.

The interface is outdated and the unsubscribe process is confusing.

I was drawn in by a Teachable promotion offering 1 month free + 3 months bonus. After completing payment, my account was automatically placed on the Growth Plan, even though I signed up for the Standard Plan.
The following month, I was billed USD 89 for the Growth Plan. I immediately downgraded to the Standard Plan at USD 29/month. The amount was successfully deducted from my debit card, yet Teachable claims the payment was declined. As a result, I’ve lost access to my account despite being charged.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. The promotion felt misleading, and the billing and access issues have not been handled transparently. Teachable appears efficient at collecting payments but slow and unresponsive when it comes to resolving errors and delivering what was paid for.
I’m sharing this as a caution to others—STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Made a mistake and subscribed to this... was charged $89.99 but I was refunded very quickly when I got in touch with teachable customer service, communication was understanding and highly appreciated. For actual teachers wanting to build a site easily and get students to teach this would be w great site for you.

I’ve been hosting my course Cracking the Code of Networking on Teachable for over five years, and my experience has been consistently positive. The platform offers solid features for course creators as well as a smooth learning experience for students. I’ve also appreciated how Teachable keeps evolving, regularly adding new options and improvements that make running and growing an online school easier over time.

I have opened account, but without any reason they close it, very bad experience for selling on teachable.
We’ve had a very disappointing experience with Teachable.
Due to a recent platform-level change, functionality that had worked for years suddenly stopped working. As a result, paying students lost access to the courses they had purchased, which directly affected ongoing classes and our business operations.
What made the situation much worse was the extremely slow and unclear communication from support. Days passed without concrete answers or solutions, while students were frustrated, some canceled their enrollment, and our brand reputation was being damaged.
This was not caused by a mistake on our side, but by changes introduced by the platform without adequate warning or proper migration support.
We are still hoping Teachable will contact us and take responsibility, provide a clear resolution, and help restore trust.
I’m happy to update this review if the issue is resolved promptly and appropriately.
---------------------------------------------
Update:
The issue has now been resolved and everything is working correctly again. I appreciate that the problem was finally fixed.
That said, the situation lasted almost two weeks, during which time my students were unable to properly access the courses they had paid for. This caused significant disruption to our classes and frustration among students.
I’m glad the platform is now functioning as expected, and I hope similar situations can be handled more quickly in the future to avoid such a strong impact on schools and their students.

Losing live chat is a poor change in practice. I have an technical issue with a program and cannot connect with a live agent to get a fix in place or for someone to even understand what the issue is. I've received one email and I've replied back several times with update on continue students having the same technical issue and I've received NO RESPONSE. I'm stuck. Students are frustrated.
