I like it! It's a pretty good system for tracking applications and company contacts. I like the reminder system for followups. If they could add an application auto-fill feature and a more robust Link... See more

The Teal application tracker and Chrome extension have been vital in retaining my sanity as I navigate this tumultuous job market. It's given me the ability to track not only my applications, but the interviews and key details related to the recruitment process. I have recommended it to everyone I know who is presently job hunting.

So far, it's been great, even for the free version. I enjoy how i'm able to track my applications, how it gives me great prompts, and is detailed enough to track my applications at different stages. Making different versions and updating my CV is also all the more easier. Thank you very much!

I've been using this for about a year. It's my go to for managing my job search. I am able to document where I applied and post a description. If/when I receive a call back, I have a frame of reference. Best of all, its free.

The resume builder is amazing. Not only does it keep me from having to do all the annoying alignment things I was doing in Canva, but it also saves all my bullets, so I just have to click what I want from previous resumes. I love that I can edit them for all resumes or one specifically. I can't believe this is free!
I also use the Chrome extension to easily add companies, people and jobs I'm interested in. It's such a helpful mini-CRM.

I've used this during 2025, and I must say that it is a very useful tool to me. I keep track of all my job search and applications with this. Their resume feature is also a good starting point if you want to enhance it to get past ATS for AI.
I am on the free plan so far, mainly because I am unemployed and can't afford it. But I still believe it's very much worth it to pay for it, should you want to.
I especially like the browser integration with the extension.

Made my job search experience much more organized so that I can think clearer and make decisions quicker. One thing I wish Teal had was the ability to add custom columns in the jobs tracker so that I could quickly view even more info about each job at a glance instead of having to click each individual job and look in the notes section.

I used this tool two separate times and have recommended it to colleagues. I love how i can make and mange out;iple version of my resume Also I can see all the jobs I am applying to in one place. I started using the Chrome plug in to easily save jobs. sure, chatgpt can do some of the things Teal does, but it doesn't track and organize your progress.

Customers STEER CLEAR!!! BEWARE!!
Situation: I have lost access to an account that I've been using for my resume and job applications. It kept directing me to a new account instead of my old one, which I spent several days and hours building. Hope you can all understand the frustration here, being that I'm actively looking in the job field for new opportunities, and this tool "Teal" is placing more obstacles. It also seems bizarre that there is only one method of communication (email only) to get in contact with a person, versus a chatbot that is extremely unhelpful and regurgitates rudimentary solutions (as if no attempt had been made to do so).
With this, in my previous account, I paid for a subscription for the a benefit that I NOW seem to be unable to use. After less than a week of using this service, I have already encountered issues and inconveniences, and the risk appears to be exponential. I preferred a refund to take my business elsewhere and yet the company has failed to responded to five of the recent emails.
Again Customers STEER CLEAR!!! BEWARE!!
There are some obvious inconsistences in the function of this service. So be leery about subscription and don't waste your time.

Expensive. Resume templates can't be read by common ATS systems like Workday. Converts resume to undesirable "bullet" format. AI often deselects bullets with valuable experience.

"sign up to apply" *signs up* "you'll never see this job again <3, but work on your resume you already have worked on and filled out!" bro maybe.... do what you're supposed to?

I'm loving Teal for organizing my job search! The ability to track all my applications in one central place has been a game-changer. The Chrome extension is particularly impressive - being able to save job postings and company information directly from websites with just a click saves so much time. I haven't explored all the AI features yet, but the core tracking functionality alone has made my job search process so much more efficient. No more scattered spreadsheets or lost opportunities!
Teal is just another company that hides information. Teal was not helpful in making my resume better or finding a job so I asked for refund per their guidelines, on the official site it says you have 14 days to get a refund, when I emailed I was told I could not get a refund as the 7 day subscription needs you to cancel within two days. Where was this information you ask? On a completely separate site from their main website. Teal is just another company that pretends to have good customer service while hiding pertinent information so they can keep your money. If you want better alternatives use Huntr or MyPerfectResume

Canceled subscription on March 5th, 2025. Ended up still charging me on a NON-RECURRING charge for March 10th, 2025.
I ended up just deleting my account to remove my data (hopefully) so this wouldn't happen again. Will be looking to reach out to support if that's even possible.
Edit: They have responded, I have sent an email to their team. Waiting to hear back.
Edit: As of 03/11/2025 -- TealHq refunded my payment, much appreciated, swift response. Great job on the customer service department.

Saving jobs from Linkedin, being able to track them in the app and then the check box design for selecting which bullet points you want to use - this is the best part, their AI helps you tailor your bullet points to key words in the job posting. I've always done that on my own, but this saves me hours of work.
You guys are truly amazing, as the platform not only respond quickly but they resolved my matter instantly without any delay. This is why I will keep following up and look forward to seeing the company grow at a rapid pace.
This company and many others are constantly Posting Jobs that are really not available. To verify IF THE JOB IS ACTUALLY AVAILABLE; go to the actual careers website of the Company you are inquiring about and SEE IF ITIS LISTED.
Here is an Excellent Example:
Jeld-Wen
Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
Jeld-Wen • Grand Rapids, MI • via Teal
When you go to their (Jeld-Wen) website you will clearly see that there is no maintenance planner available.
NOTE: EVERY MAINTENANCE PLANNER JOB ON THIS WEBSITE IS NOT AVAILABLE. LOOK FOR YOURSELF AND VERIFY.
IF TEAL IS NOT LOOKING TO GIVE FALSE HOPE; WHY WOULD SOMEBODY WANT TO APPLY FOR A JOB AND GIVE YOU ALL THEIR INFORMATION AS A THIRD PARTY! YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB AVAILABLE - YOU ONLY HAVE SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO LOOK AT THE RESUME INFORMATION THAT'S COMING YOUR WAY.

TealHQ is a great tool for staying organized during a job search, especially with its CRM-style setup. I use it daily to track applications, deadlines, and company details, and it’s incredibly intuitive and efficient for that purpose.
While they’ve started incorporating AI features, they still feel underdeveloped. For resume customization, I find tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Notebook LM more reliable. The resume builder is user-friendly but has its downsides. Small edits result in extra bullet points, which can get overwhelming when managing multiple versions. Additionally, the resume templates are not very ATS-friendly, even the single-column ones, which often get scrambled during parsing. This has led me to use other options for resume generation.
The data export feature could also be improved by allowing users to select specific fields, like job URLs, to integrate with other tools more easily.
Despite these drawbacks, the application tracking functionality is excellent and keeps me coming back. If they address the resume-related issues, I’d gladly expand my use of the platform. For now, I’d recommend it primarily for its strong CRM features.

Gave them a copy of my resume with my Linkedin URL and they got it wrong in my resume. I don't know how but it was one letter off and directed to the wrong person. It was a hyperlink in the original document (and completely correct) and Teal pulled it out and put it in the header and it was missing a letter that directed to my profile. I was so focused on the bullets, I didn't even look at that part, I trusted the robot too much and I definitely used that for two different applications. Not worth the $9 in my opinion. I think my free chatgpt is just as good.

I love the Job Tracker and the Chrome extension. So much better than others I've seen and vastly better than my own efforts with Excel. The Job Tracker is a brilliant tool and very easy to use. I've been using it every day for a couple of weeks now and it's made a huge difference to how I manage my Job Search efforts.
The Teal Chrome extension pops up as soon as it detects one of the job boards it supports. If you're on a company careers page which isn't supported, it's dead quick and easy to just click on the Chrome extension and enter the details into the box that pops up. You can even copy and paste the job description. From the job details page you can even edit any field. So if the company name is a headhunter, as soon as you know the hiring company name you can add that into the Company box.
The monthly subscription fee is worth it just for the Job Tracker capabilities and of course Teal offers a whole lot more. And there's a free version you can use too.
Recently started using tealhq to manage job applications and to be honest, I would be lost with out it. It's the first place I login to review tasks and identify next steps, as well as keeping track of the different roles I am looking at. Its very easy to use and with the Chrome plug in, its super simple to add roles to the job tracker page. I am only using the free version, but can't rate it highly enough, its an awesome tool!
