Tebura is a hotel to hotel luggage transfer service for travellers doing a multi city trip through Europe. We collect your suitcases from your hotel in one city and deliver them to your hotel in the next, the same day, so you can spend your travel day exploring instead of dragging bags behind you. The idea comes from Japan, where sending your luggage ahead to your next hotel has been normal for decades. In Europe it barely exists. That is what we set out to change. Booking takes a few minutes at tebura.eu and there is no account or password to set up. You choose your departure city, your destination city, your date and how many bags you are sending, and you see your price straight away. On the day you check out, you drop your bags at your hotel reception before 11:00. Reception hands you a Tebura label for each bag, you scan them with your phone, and that is your part done. Your luggage travels to your next hotel and is waiting at that reception the same evening, by 21:00 at the latest. We email you when your bags are collected and again when they have arrived, so you always know where they are. Bookings close at 22:00 the day before pick up, and you can cancel free of charge until 12:00 noon the day before your transfer. Every bag is insured while it is with us. Tebura currently operates between Bruges, Ghent and Brussels. Paris and Amsterdam are next, followed by more of the Benelux, northern France and the Ruhr region in Germany. We deliver to hotels, B&Bs and guesthouses in the destination city, whether or not that hotel already works with us. We do not deliver to Airbnbs or private residences. Our customers are couples on a European tour who would rather see Bruges properly than watch their suitcases at a station. Families travelling with young children, where a stroller, a toddler and two suitcases on a busy train platform is one thing too many. Older travellers who would rather not lift bags onto luggage racks. Business travellers moving between meetings in different cities. Cyclists and walkers doing a route between towns. Anyone who has ever checked out at 11:00, had a train at 18:00, and spent the day in between working around their luggage. Transfers start at €30 per bag. We carry hand luggage up to 10 kg, standard suitcases up to 23 kg, and oversized items up to 30 kg with prior confirmation. Bags need to be properly closed and able to withstand normal handling. Hotels can offer Tebura to their guests at no cost. Partner hotels keep a stock of labels at reception, which makes the hand over quicker for their guests, and those guests get a preferential rate. If you run a hotel in Bruges, Ghent, Brussels, Paris or Amsterdam and would like your guests to travel on to their next city with their hands free, write to info@tebura.eu. Tebura is a Belgian company, based in Leuven and operating across Flanders and Brussels. We run our own network and handle the luggage ourselves rather than reselling someone else's service, which is why we can promise same day delivery and pick up the phone when something needs sorting out. We are a young company, so every transfer still gets the attention of the people who founded it. The name comes from the Japanese 手ぶら, tebura, which means empty handed. It is the feeling of walking out of a hotel with nothing in your hands and a whole city in front of you. Questions, or something we could have done better? Email support@tebura.eu or message us on WhatsApp. We read everything. Travel hands-free. Explore freely.

The best thing I booked on our Belgium Trip

Tebura was absolutely fantastic and a life saver. My six year old and I did a nine day Mother/Daughter trip to Belgium with a quick detour in Paris in between Ghent and Bruges.

Traveling from the US, we packed all our favourite outfits, and much of what we thought we’d need.

But then lugging our suitcases across the airport and train station and the train from Brussels to Ghent was exhausting and absolutely killed the vacation vibes we were excited for. I remember thinking, “I wish there was a way to just have our luggage transferred over hotel to hotel without spending a fortune!”

I did some research and found Tebura.

With a less than 24 hours’ notice, Tebura picked up our large suitcase from our hotel in Ghent and delivered it directly to our hotel in Bruges while we traveled to Paris with just one small bag and absolute freedom! In fact, within an hour of me handing over my suitcase in Ghent, I received a photo of it safely at our hotel in Bruges from Tebura. All for less than what I paid for brunch that day! Incredible.

It was transformative. We hopped on trains, navigated Paris, walked to our hotel, and traveled like people instead of pack mules! We saved more money by avoiding Ubers and taxis by traveling light than we spent on using Tebura. When we arrived in Bruges, our suitcase was safely waiting for us in our room.

Everything was seamless, reliable, and incredibly easy. The customer service was 10/10 - responsive, courteous, and so helpful.

Traveling alone with a young child, this wasn’t just a convenience; it genuinely changed the experience of our trip as I was feeling more dread than excitement once I realized how much effort each transfer would take.

If you’re traveling through Belgium and moving between cities, use Tebura. Don’t think twice. Send the big luggage ahead, pack a smaller bag for each part of your trip, and travel light. I will absolutely use them again. More of this service across the world, please!

Safia, thank you for taking the time to write all of this down.

The bit about the train from Brussels to Ghent is exactly the moment we built Tebura for. That first leg with everything you packed, before the trip has really begun, and by the time you arrive you have already spent the energy you came here to spend on the city.

Less than 24 hours notice was no trouble at all, and I am glad the photo reached you while you were still in Ghent. Knowing the suitcase is safe before you step on the train is the part we care about most.

"Travelling like people instead of pack mules" is going straight on our wall.

Thank you for trusting a young company with your luggage. It means a great deal to us. If you are ever back in Belgium, or wherever we have reached by then, your bags are in good hands.

Hands-free,
Jornt
