My controller I sent off for repair…

My controller I sent off for repair never made it back to the CEX store despite Tech Centre saying it would arrive on the 22nd May. I went in to collect it, it wasn’t there, I came back nearly 2 weeks later, it still hadn’t arrived. The CEX staff pursued the issue with Tech Centre, who said the controller had been delivered when it clearly hadn’t. CEX ended up having to replace my controller.

Hi Daniel, We’re sorry to hear about the frustration and inconvenience caused during this repair.

Our records show the controller was delivered to the store, supported by tracking confirmation. We understand, however, that the store has advised they were unable to locate the item on their side. In these situations, we rely on the receiving location’s intake confirmation to complete the chain of custody, and we did not receive any further queries at the time the delivery proof was shared.

We appreciate this created a difficult position for the customer and the store. Once we were made aware that the item could not be located, we supported the resolution process which ultimately led to a replacement being issued so the customer was not left without a working controller.

We’re sorry for any confusion or inconvenience caused and will continue working with our retail partners to help ensure deliveries are logged and tracked as smoothly as possible in future. Kind Regards, Tech Centre.

You didn’t just heal me…

You didn’t just heal me, but you healed my inner child! The moment I got back home, went into my kitchen and opened up my DSI, My eyes were wide open by the amount of nostalgia that had been thrown right at my face. The L and R buttons work, but they aren’t as responsive… Though,
L seems to respond more than R, but it still is a little bothersome, so I’ll maybe have to get that checked out for repair again when I have the right amount of income. However, the charging port looks good as if it were new!! (Can’t wait to test out my new charger on it once it arrives.) Not to mention, I didn’t have to wait long at all for my DSI’s repair, which it only took ‘em a few days to repair it, and I got it back just today! Even the price was super reasonable and not as expensive whatsoever. Other than that, words cannot express how thankful I am to the tech centre, and if y’all are looking for a place to get your device fixed, whether it be new or old, the tech centre is the place to get it serviced!

Ps5 fixed 👍

My console was picked up processed and fixed quickly and efficiently, I had to clear a few things up via email due to an error on the behalf of the staff member in cex writing the description incorrectly but the that was also quickly handled, the whole experience was as stress free as I could have hoped for and will definitely recommend the service
