I enrolled in a "Master's program" in November 2025, paying a €433 enrollment fee and committing to monthly installments of €158. The program turned out to be longer and more expensive than I could afford to continue with.

When I asked about switching to a lower-cost Postgraduate Certificate, I was told over the phone that the switch was possible, but I had to clear the pending December installment first. Relying on this, I paid €158 on 31 December 2025. The payment process itself was unusually difficult. The standard payment link did not work, and staff had to send three different ad hoc links over WhatsApp before one worked.

After payment, I was informed that the switch was allowed, but the original Master 's-level price would remain. In effect, I would have been paying for a Master's program to receive only a Postgraduate Certificate. This was not what I understood from my prior conversations with staff. In my experience, verbal assurances about price adjustments were not honored but used as a tactic to secure payment.

More broadly, I found the language used by staff, both during phone calls and in written communication, was rarely direct. In my view, important information about pricing, refunds, and what would and would not be honored was communicated in a way that felt designed to keep customers committed rather than to clarify their options. Prospective students should request every important point in writing before paying anything and should not assume that what is said on a phone call will be honored later.

I gave written notice of withdrawal on 22 January 2026 and explicitly revoked payment authorization. Despite this, TECH charged my spouse's card an additional €158 on 3 February 2026, ten days after the written revocation. Neither this charge nor an earlier January charge was verified with a verification code (Strong Customer Authentication) sent to the cardholder. The cardholder has filed a formal dispute with the issuing bank, and an investigation is underway.

The merchant later offered a partial refund and a "settlement" on the condition that I waive all regulatory and banking complaints. I declined.
Prospective students should also be aware that TECH offers two program categories: official Spanish university degrees, available only since 2024 and limited in scope, and proprietary university certifications (títulos propios), which make up the majority of its catalog. A título propio is a private university certificate and does not have the same legal status as an official degree, either in Spain or under European Higher Education Area standards.

Recognition in Italy through MUR or CIMEA equipollenza procedures is generally not available for títulos propios. Before enrolling, verify which category your specific program falls under and whether it will be recognized for your intended use, whether for employment, public competitions, regulated professions, or further academic study.

A closing reflection. TECH's published mission speaks of "social responsibility," "the integral development of each and every member of the TECH University community," and educating students "to perform their duties in society in a responsible manner." These are commitments worth taking seriously. Education is not, or should not be, a purely commercial transaction. Behind every enrollment fee is a person making a meaningful decision about their time, finances, and future. When an institution leans on contractual technicalities and high-pressure collection tactics rather than treating students with the same care its public values claim to embody, the gap between mission statement and lived experience becomes the real teacher.

My honest advice to prospective students: read the contract carefully before paying anything. Verbal assurances about price adjustments are not honored. Be cautious about saving payment details with this provider and check whether your card issuer requires verification codes for subsequent charges.

Unable to even attempt completing my program due to multiple language barrier issues. Confirmed with a recruiter before registering that the program was accessible to English speaking students, only to find multiple modules where everything was in Spanish. Emailed multiple times with no reply. When I was asked to “renew” my program and I again brought up this issue, I was told I never reached out and that the program is 100% In english.

Feels very much so like a scam.

The training went well and I was able to work at my own pace.
I really appreciated the support provided by my advisor, Mr Aitor, who followed up on my requests in a timely manner and resolved them quickly.

My experience with Dunja Garrote was very fruitful and successful. My question were answered andI was given information for my future career. She listen effectively and was very understanding.

I didn't go through with it, and so they've spam called and messaged me multiple times over the past two years. I reply that I am not interested, they reply "okay, understood" then I get contacted again several months later. Be aware that Mexico has no anti-spam laws before giving this organisation your details.

I have currently completed my course in October 2025 from April 2025,I come from South Africa and had a very satisfying experience with the course in a Postgraduate Diploma in Emotional Intelligence, From start to finish I learnt alot and it's very informative and the content is well researched and accredited courses.

Yes, I also had some technical issues and the university could fix the errors, and I did continue, thank you Tech Global University,I can't wait to continue with my Advanced Masters Degree.
