They withdrew my trading profits illegaly

I made a profit yesterday bringing my new challenge account balance to $10,230.83.

Then today, all my profits magically disappeared from my trading challenge account CHLG34625.

They deducted -$258 quoting rollover fees for 1 lot of NAS100, making my trading account balance negative $9,972.82.

I asked for proof of documentation of the fees literature on the TEFS website or contract and how it was calculated but didn't get an answer.

Very suspicious and fraudulent activities. I wanted to trust this company and willing to buy more accounts after this challenge process. But this experience has left me with a sour and bitter taste. Use at your own risk. Won't recommend

Hi,

We’d like to clarify what occurred, as this was not a fee deduction and not a removal of earned profits.

Your NAS100 position was held through a contract rollover, where the underlying index contract transitioned from the expiring contract to the next one. During this process, the price difference between the two contracts is applied to open positions to ensure continuous and fair pricing.

In this instance, the price adjustment between the old and new NAS100 contract resulted in a -$258 adjustment for long positions. Traders holding short positions during the same rollover were credited accordingly.

This adjustment is a standard market mechanism, applied automatically by the trading platform, and not a discretionary action or profit removal by TEFS.

We encourage all traders to review overnight holding costs for indices carefully when trading challenge accounts.

Despicable behavior from this company

Despicable behavior from this company.

I was a loyal client for 5 years, and then suddenly, out of the blue, TEFS emailed and said my account was terminated. The reason was I didn't make enough profit in their allotted timeframe, but the issue here is the sales representative, (by the name of Bert) told me the there was no time pressure when I signed up and paid. His words were, there is no one forcing you to trade, and that I can do so at my leisure as I have other business involvements.

This is why I was shocked to learn my account was terminated without warning.

I emailed TEFS to get a further explanation because of what I was told at the start, and to give me more time as the sales rep Bert assured me there was no time pressure when I signed up, or at least refund me as I still had a about $5,000 above my max drawdown amount and there response was Nothing. No response, just ghosted after I have been a loyal customer of 5 years and made multiple payments to this company, as I upgraded my account several times.

So for them to terminate my account out of the blue, it is a complete misrepresentation of what they told me in the beginning, and it is completely unfair.

If anyone is considering TEFS, I urge you to go somewhere else with your hard earned money, as I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

However, it’s important to clarify that the situation you’re describing occurred under previous ownership and management of Tradenet, prior to the company’s acquisition and restructuring. The policies, representatives, and decisions you reference — including the individual mentioned — were not part of the current organization, and we were not involved in or responsible for those actions.

Since the transition to new ownership, our company operates under entirely different management, policies, compliance standards, and customer agreements. Unfortunately, we are unable to alter or retroactively address account decisions made by the former entity.

We truly regret that your experience with the previous organization was not what you expected, and we encourage any prospective clients to review our current terms, policies, and support structure, which are fully transparent and clearly outlined prior to onboarding.

I trade using a purely classical…

I trade using a purely classical technical approach. My strategy is based on identifying strong support and resistance zones, waiting for price action confirmation such as rejections or retests, and executing trades with strict risk management, fixed stop-loss levels, and a minimum 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio.
