Appalling Customer Service - Constantly Gets the Basics Wrong

Telekom MK (TMK) has been given a one-star review for the below reasons. The company is completely worthy of a zero grade, but that option does not exist on this platform. Having been a very long-standing customer I would switch providers immediately, but given their severance/settlement charge of around MKD16,000 (€260), that ain’t going to happen. In no particular order:

- Customer service is pathetic: emails sent go unanswered, delayed replies, incorrect info given out, requests not actioned and senior staff ignore emails. Ring their contact centre on 122 at your peril, but you’ll be wasting your time.

- Our TMK contracts have historically been extended without our knowledge, agreement or notification.

- A new set top box which was forced upon us recently is nothing short of a joke. There are way too many faults to list here. Have requested the reinstallation of the old one, but was told that’s not an option.

- For more than a decade TMK has blatantly flouted data protection laws. The company tried to squirm out of the situation by threatening my wife with legal action. Staff at their Legal, Compliance, Personal Data Protection and Corporate Affairs Hub have now elected to ignore/block any emails sent.

- Frequent and random internet dropouts mean inconveniently having to reset our services. The TV sound regularly drops out too.

- Monthly bills received are usually incorrect due to questionable amounts for spurious charges being applied. Regular items that appear on our bills include: Caller Identification, Call Waiting and SafeNet Home. We have never subscribed to any of them.

- When complaints have been submitted, TMK refuses to accept them as complaints and palms us off with really weak, feeble and lame excuses.

- We recently enquired about switching our monthly bill from one name to the other. Not only does this convoluted process require closing the current agreement and starting a new one, surprise, surprise customers are expected to pay an unknown “admin” fee. Furthermore, we would lose all loyalty benefits and would have to set up a new TMK account/profile. There is nothing like a company making life easier for its customers!

- Staff have an extreme reluctance to divulge any senior staff details. Once the head of Customer Service’s name and email address were requested, yet the response received was a curt “do not ask me for information about superiors because I do not have the authority to name names.” Similarly, if you try to arrange a meeting with a senior member of staff, you are declined.

- A simple request was made yesterday to check on our latest bill amount to date, yet nobody could help!

All in all, another classic case of a company putting profits before customers. Please up your game TMK. You are a million miles away from where you need to be as a reputable and dependable telecoms provider/partner.

BAD SIGNAL

Had this internet from 6 years ago before deciding to leave because of slow speeds , now I go back thinking they have stable connection since I need it for work but internet crashes while using it. As soon as you start to do something with the internet it crashes it seems to have bandwidth bottleneck set and probably for stability they sell you "gaming boost" it wasn't a thing 6 years ago guess they are money hungry. Apart from all I wrote there is communication problems and I know more than their employees it's almost laughable , my profession is far from internet cables and connections. HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED I thought Telekabel was the worst but these guys took the crown in Macedonia. I had no internet for the first month seemed like they shut us off from their servers because all the modem lights were off and only power light was on they expected me to pay that month as well... Told them to get a optic cable to my location because only their optics seems to work(heard it from a friend) if they don't we break the contract through A.E.K. They promote optics but you got to "beg" for it like what company does that ?? If you sell something and I can pay for it you make it happen instead of rejecting customers their wishes so PATHETIC.

Terrible

Terrible service. Terrible stability. Terrible connection. Terrible customer service. I’ve spent the last 7 days trying to register my phone number through the app to use its top-up features and bonuses. I have to top up at supermarkets and spend my money on small internet packages that get used up in under half an hour (2GB). Nothing works. The app functionality is broken. Web registration doesnt work either.

Talking to their service agents is like talking to a wall, I’ve spent 40+ minutes on a conversation and all I’ve got is 2 responses. Our home wifi doesnt work, I cant even load a single google search page.

Stay far away from this provider, you’ll only get headaches from dealing with them.

TERRIBLE IN EVERY WAY!

Terrible in every way. The internet connection is super weak, I STRONGLY suggest to not make a contract with them. I've been sith T-Mobile mk for a year and I had multiple probles like: Constantly having weak wireless internet, the network not working for 4-5 days and the customer service is terrible, they always say to me there's nothing we can do you have to wait for a couple of days until the error is resolved.I'm a web designer I work remotely so I'm gathering documentations so I can sue them to end the contract before it ends because I can't wait for another year with this b*****t,

Strongly avoid T Mobile, there are much better options.

Save yourself some time and nerves

Do not dare make any contract with them. They were the best company for web services past 10 years but they transform in a decent nightmare that everyone should avoid. Prices are very high and the quality is beyond low. Customer support is 0, and the employees are bunch of uneducated people how needs to go back in 1st grade to learn basic manners. Strongly NOT RECOMAND THIS PROVIDER.

Incompetent but fair

Bought a prepaid SIM as a tourist (5GB for 30 days). After two days of light surfing (no streaming nor downloading); internet stopped working. Visited the branch where I bought the SIM, and they told me that I had used up the entire 5GB in 2 days, which was impossible. If you are a tourist, I suggest you Do Not Buy a Prepaid Sim from Telekom.

Update on 31 Mar 2021: After submitting a complaint via facebook messenger, the company admitted to their error, and provided me with the data 5 days after the SIM was activated.

Fraud, stealing money from customers

So 2 days ago i recharged my credit balance (with their app from a credit card) on my phone number, 15€ = 900 den Macedonian.... They give me minutes and 500 mb to use until 5 May, yesterday I check the balance of the credit and the amount of remaining credit.
It was around 900 den Macedonian and 438 mb left, today I use some Internet - mobile data... Then I received an sms that I don't have anymore credit on my phone, without any message that i used all 438 mb left, and that they are charging me for using internet from the credit.
Now I write them the problem and they say that they are unable to check where I used the data and that I can't be refund because is not in their policy (in any other company or country you get always refunded).
Now I need to recharge my number so I can use to make calls and use net, and spend more money, and wait if they can resolve this thing in 15 days... Btw I'm leaving the country in 5 days.... I will make a request for a refund to them and to my bank bcs they are doing fraud of their customer's (including me)
