HORRIBLE PLACE AND PROVIDERS

I waited months for an appointment, was not contacted in any other way besides text and tested poorly. I was not given the zoom link until 4 minutes before my appointment despite me song for it 30 minutes prior (they won't send earlier and they are supposed to send the morning off) and then was treated poorly because I wasn't in on time. The "check-in" was horrible and they wouldn't turn their camera on. I was assured that the PA would though so I dealt with it. However, when the PA came in, is was told they had to wish the appointment because I can't in late and they have done poor excuses about their camera not working. Literally said they don't know why and they think its because they had to re-install zoom. I'm not comfortable, especially on a first appointment, talking to a black screen. I said if they could please find a way to turn the camera on because of the fact I just stated and all she said was "ok" and thrm disconnected. Disgusting service and non existent customer service.

KNOCK KNOCK???!!!!!!

I don’t understand how a mental health crisis can be so ignored after the initial visit and change in medication. How is this overseen and ethical ? I CANNOT get a hold of anyone. My medication on two bottles says a different provider and then one says the person that told me how I should be dealing with my situation, taking away a medication and drastically altering another. Being 55 I understand & have been through the agony of seeing what it takes to get medication correct. HOWEVER I’ve always had a healthcare provider!! At the very least I’ve had the ability to speak to someone in order to pass along a message. Two months I tried. To no avail. No one told me that my rx provider is just no longer working. No prior authorization were ever done. No therapy follow up or referral was done. My lab work was never called in or able to be done. How is it in this world you miss a smog certificate & you jeopardize getting your registration (no negotiation with DMV) but with telemed2u they can throw out all sorts of misinformation and neglect patients and it’s fine. There are people who desperately need help to a level where it’s life or death. And I feel that this establishment may not be taking it as seriously as they should. It’s very unforgiving when you are already beat down in life.

Who is Telemed2u.com ??

My experience is one of disbelief - they have sent me e-mails with someone elses name ! And I live in Scandinavia, and this company is American. I am getting so many unwanted mails from US-based companies that I have never been in touch with before, and despite many, many e-mails, asking them to remove/delete my e-mail they don't even bother to reply - nor do they react when I contact them on Facebook.
I am not impressed.

Support staff is not helpful when…

Support staff is not helpful when needed FMLA forms filled out by doctor. Cannot actually meet your doctor. Its like pulling teeth to contact your health provider. Not enough info is provided by Healthcare professional.

They must hire the people who barely passed med school

The person I'm assigned to is horrible. She disbelieves TWO different diagnoses by well trained doctors at well regarded facilities, yet didn't order any further tests to find out for herself what's wrong. I have pancreas and liver issues. She said I "look too healthy" for the imaging and diagnosis from two different doctors in two different hospitals over several years to be correct. Apparently she has not heard managing a condition to try to prevent it from becoming so bad I look deathly ill. How can any real doctor write off two real doctors' findings because the patient "looks too healthy?" It's insane. I'm getting a referral to a real doctor. If there's any hint of 4u or 2u in the name, I'll know to trust my gut next time. Unbelievably bad.

Unreliable Care and Denied Requests

I strongly advise caution before seeking care at this office. While the reception staff were consistently kind, professional, and often went above and beyond to help, the medical care I received from the providers and policies left me without proper support.

Medication Refills: Refill requests were often delayed or denied. In particular, my birth control refills were denied even while other medications were approved. This was especially concerning since those other medications can increase the risk of pregnancy.

Cancellations & Rescheduling: Appointments were cancelled or rescheduled, which delayed my treatment.

Cortisol Testing Error: The office failed to provide the medication necessary for a cortisol test. As a result, I completed the test incorrectly and had to repeat it, which cost me an additional $400 out of pocket.

Refusal to Change Providers: When I requested to switch to another endocrinologist within the same organization, my request was denied under “company policy.” Despite explaining the issues I had experienced, I was pressured to return to my original provider.

Patients deserve reliable care, continuity in their treatment, and the ability to seek a second opinion when needed. Unfortunately, my experience at this office showed a pattern of oversight, delays, and refusal to accommodate reasonable requests. I share this so others can make an informed decision before choosing this practice.

Lack of follow up - do not recommend

I had such a frustrating experience with Telemed2U. My first appointment with a rheumatologist went well and I left feeling hopeful. I completed the blood tests that were ordered and received abnormal results — but then everything fell apart.

When I went for my follow-up, I was told my original doctor was unavailable and they’d find someone else. They scheduled me with a Nurse Practitioner who, mid-appointment, realized she was only licensed for California patients. Since I live in Texas, she had to cut the call short but promised the office would reschedule me with a Texas-licensed doctor.

Instead of fixing the mistake, a Telemed2U rep later called and tried to book me with the exact same NP who wasn’t even allowed to see me. The whole process was a cluster. After that failed, I was told the next available rheumatologist appointment would be five months out.

So now, after spending time and money on testing, I’m left scrambling to find another office to interpret my abnormal blood test results. The lack of coordination and follow-through at Telemed2U has been incredibly disappointing.
