Great Company, Can highly recommend
We recently had Telfair complete a double story extension. In short, we could not be happier with our choice of selecting Telfair for the work. We are very happy with the outcome and can 100% recommend Telfair as a company should anyone be considering them for construction work or an extension.
We had a few companies provide us quotes for the build, but from the initial outset, we felt like this would be a good fit. An extension can be a daunting and stressful project to undertake, and we felt assured by Russell that they were comfortable with the requirements we had, and they were confident in being able to deliver on it all. From all the quotes we received back, Telfair was in line with all the others relating to price. They understood our need for quite a tight timescale to get it all completed, and worked closely with us over the next couple of months to make sure everything came together in order for the work to start when planned and on the agreed date.
From the day the team arrived on site until the day they left, we never felt uncomfortable having anyone around us, or our family. The team they employ are all polite and respectful, and it was a pleasure having them around, while the work was carried out. We thought this was a great testament to Telfair, their employees, and contractors they work with, where we felt we could easily engage with anyone and were able to ask a lot of questions regards to progress. There were times where we were struggling with certain decisions that we needed to make, and we could easily approach one of the team, run our thoughts by them and get an honest response back which they thought would be the best option or course of action to take. We have a young kid and dog around, and they were always friendly and engaging with us all.
There was a slight overrun on the works, but this was not down to Telfair, but more down to what was discovered in the house while the work was carried out, and at all stages we were kept up to date on progress, and any potential delays that was faced.
Support from the team regarding little niggles that popped up shortly after the work was completed was also great and someone from Telfair would be around in a couple of days to assist in fixing the issue after it was flagged up.
If we take everything into account from start to finish and even post the finish of the project, Telfair was amazing every step of the way. We would happily use them again should we ever have another project and can 100% recommend them.
