Top class machine and top class after sales service

Fantastic customer service. Super helpful with all my questions, responsive and delivery was so speedy. Machine is a lot of fun and really easy to carry! Dogs are having a blast with it!

Fast delivery, tested twice so far, works well. I recommend first testing the speed and inertia of the device without a dog and learn to operate the device.

I purchased a lure from Top Dog and found it to be an excellent product. It's particularly useful when galloping dogs and makes the process much easier while saving time. The customer service was also very good. I would happily recommend both the product and the company.

I have had an exceptional experience with Top Dog Store .....I had a few questions but was answered by wahts app almost immediately after sending. I purchased the 24v KevDog Pro Drag Lure Model - Greyhounds machine from The Top Dog Store, which is advertised as having a remote control range of up to 250 yards. In reality, the machine does not perform as described. The remote connection often fails even at short distances of under 50 meters, making it practically unusable for me.
I only used the machine to test its functionality, and it remains in almost new condition (the end of the line is only slightly washed out from the wet grass and there is some dust on one of the stickert). I contacted the seller within the 14-day return period and sent the machine back on time, requesting a refund as the product does not match the description.
The seller, however, insisted on a fixed 30% deduction for a “used” item, even though EU law allows deductions only for excessive use and the deduction has to reflect the actual damage. The seller insisted on the 30% deduction before he could even inspect the machine. I was open to a reasonable deduction. Later, he completely refused the return, claiming the product was “custom made” or “made to order” and therefore exempt from refunds.
This claim is false – I made no custom requests or specifications. In fact, the seller himself wrote that the machine was only available in one color (dark camo green) and shipped it immediately after payment, proving it was not custom-built nor made to order.
Even if it were “made to order,” the seller cannot legally refuse a refund for a product that does not function as advertised.
I find it unacceptable that a seller within the EU tries to avoid consumer protection laws this way. I have reported the case to the European Consumer Centre and strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering from this shop.

1. Again, I did not “change my mind” – my return request was due to the remote not performing as advertised. I followed the troubleshooting suggestions you provided when I first contacted you about the issue, including battery replacement and testing it at a different location, but none of them fixed the issue.
2. The troubleshooting that you refer to in your response started after I had already informed you that I wished to return the product. Because the 14-day return period was running out, I sent it back within the legal timeframe to ensure my right of withdrawal was respected.
3. Regarding the “custom made” claim: I did not request any personalisation. In fact, you confirmed by email that only the green case was available, which I accepted. That does not make the product custom made under EU law.
4. The product was returned within 14 days and only tested to check if it worked. It was in near-new condition upon return.
Some statements made in your reply do not accurately reflect our communication or the reasons for my return. My review is entirely honest, based on documented facts, and does not contain any defamatory or false information.

Excellent customer services, both pre sales answering my many questions with patience and clarity through to after sales. Nothing is too much trouble. In addition helpful training videos available.

Easy to set up , lightweight , robust and if used correctly gives teh dogs a nice run-out and trains the pups to chase the lure .
I used it with 3 Guide pulleys for a "circle" so i could start and finish at the Top Gun box

Very happy with this product. Easy to use and light weight while being robust and forgiving of new users. Highly recommend for sighthound and running dog owners or any other breed that have the drive to chase.

A great piece of kit that does exactly as the advert says. I'm not a regular lure driver, and trying to run my dogs solo seemed the impossible, but TopDogs have just the solution! A choice of colours too just to be a little more spoilt.

If I have a problem or concern the help to solve makes it all worth the cost.

Had it a few months now, and it keeps working, haven't used it as much as I'd like, not needed to charge it yet. Can recommend for anyone wanting to run their dog

We love our TopDog lure machine. We have been travelling 45 minutes each way to allow our whippet to have a go at some lure coursing sessions, so decided to bite the bullet and buy him his own, and wow he is totally obsessed! The machine is really straight forward to use, and super lightweight. The staff at TopDog are also really kind and helpful. Hopefully this machine will last us ages, but if we ever decide to purchase another, or upgrade, we wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again!

I was looking to upgraded my older lure from these guys after having it for a year and it being brilliant but wasn’t sure what to upgrade to so I spoke to the owner and he was really helpful and now my new one is everything I wanted give the dogs more line for longer runs and a better range for the remote making it really easy to use when alone
