TES was once a decent company with education and teachers at its heart. Those days are long gone, sealed by the transfer of ownership in 2018 to Providence Equity Partners L.L.C. The constant stre... See more

Friendly store
Our local Tesco does have its faults and feel it could do with a budget to replace things as the freezers and fridges often break down meaning somethings end up out of stock. However, overall it is a great shop that is def part of the community and staff are always approachable and friendly.

An amazing company with many great offers, wonderful customer care and very good experience
Avoid their subscription scams
Beware this company signs you up for auto renewal subscriptions charging you each quarter without communicating with you at all. By the time I realised I had paid several times for zero service . I contacted customer services and they refused to offer any kind of refund. Avoid their subscription scams.
Bad experience
I dont know what other reviewers are writing about since I see alot of cash//money talk.
But the tes im reviewing about is the Tes teacher agency website. Personally, I have been using it for a while to find opportunities all over the world, and it's true they present consolidated opportunities around the globe- just not for Africans. Don't get me wrong, the jobs are for everyone to apply but only a few to get, who are not Africans

Never use this website i spent 7.99 hoping to get an extract i received a zip file and when i opened it there was nothing inside of it and when asking for help from the company you get a useless automated response this NEVER use TES it is a scam company
What a palaver.
What a palaver.
I paid for some predicted combined science GCSE papers for my son. I received an email receipt but no confirmation as to how to access the papers. I clicked on the link in the invoice and was taken back to the description of the item.
I contacted CS via email and to be fair, they responded reasonably quickly. They just gave a generic answer though which didn’t help.
I contacted them again and eventually worked out you have to be logged on to access them on their website.
Finally, I thought.
Alas, it still wasn’t to be. I downloaded the zip files and opened them. None of 3 zip files contain the 2 expected papers plus marking scheme but do contain a spreadsheet with % times of when types of questions have been on the last 5 years of GCSE papers. WTAF?
Please get a grip and let me have what I’ve paid for.
basic errors
formatting all over the place of resource i bought basically had to make it myself, simple stuff done wrong just unprofessional
A yes for Tes
Appreciate the Tes resources platform very much. The website has made it is easy to upload files, add descriptions etc. Used it since 2012 to share free teaching materials with students and teachers. Love seeing how much the resources are downloaded and where in the world they are downloaded, using the map.
The Tes help team have been very responsive when I have contacted them; prompt to reply and quick to sort out problems.
Tes is horrendous supplier of Education
Tes is horrendous supplier of Post Graduate Education and Professional Courses. Avoid at all costs. Poor Communication and delivery, if any.
you for several I noticed the incompentce of Tes when apply for Ske in 2020 and 2021. Unfortunately I gave them a chance in 2023. just look at their reviews on trust pilot. Getting bursary to do course from them is bad, but paying for one is even worse!
I have been forced into unfavourable position due to the inability to Tes Insitiute to deliver my SKE ( subject knowledge Enhancent) course on time and refusal to meet obligations of supervision and follow through with my course, schedule, duration as described. I applied for 16 weeks Subject knowledge Enhancent course in May 2023. I have also been forced and into an unfavourable position by University of East London to delays between TES and ITT in confirming my study and conditions, my SKE was delayed and started much later than expected I have been provided with substandard mentoring and limited supervision from Rizwana Master and Sanjit Chambers. compared to what a student should have with their tutor
Matters are made worse as my SKE provider Director ( Laura Marshall FCCT ) refused to review my final work submitted while I was still within my SKE duration and schedule. Fiona Longmore
I found Tes in breach of regulations and contract.
Despite sometimes repetitive and , abstract feedback as mentioned I continuued working on my SKE and resubmitted up to the end course which was the week beginning 16th October 2023 . My work was last graded on 2nd of October for work submitted in week beginning 18th September 2023. I last submitted and resubmitted work in the week beginning 9th October 2023 I had not finished the duration of my SKE and The latter weeks of my were reviewed earlier than scheduled to be reviewed. I only pushed my effort to try submit more early to give me space and to give time to do other things as my Department for Education ITT course begun in early September which was a result of the late start caused by TES Insitiute. My testimony is shared among my peers specifically to bursaries. A number of my peers and I have received our bursaries or fractions of it because Tes will claim my my SKE overlapped with the start of our Department for Education ITT. I cannot speak for others, but in my case my SKE and ITT overlapped because of the delays of TES and ITT provider, forcing me start later in the year on 19th of June 2023
In addition, given I have not been assessed up to the end of my SKE my ITT provider not received assessment of final submissions, therefore not in position to make such judgments in regards to my completionof the course.
Total rubbish and now the jobs website…
Total rubbish and now the jobs website is totally impossible to navigate. What idiot thought this was a good idea?
Do not risk buying their resources
I bought a resource but could only see one page. When I loaded the resource there were only four pages and the amount of content was far from adequate for even part of a lesson. When I complained they said that it was my problem, and that all resources require a degree of personalization; yet this one would require re-writing from scratch. At least if you bought rubbish of this low quality from content suppliers elsewhere, they would issue a refund.
Still charging £15 every three months
Still charging £15 every three months, there is no way to unsubscribe, had to cancel it from the bank
Terrible refund policy
Bought some resources with only a preview and no ratings for almost £20, and when I opened it the document was of terrible quality. I then tried to get my money back but unless it's offensive or copyright they won't help you. Really unhappy since i've spent over £100 on Tes.
Tes Australia is dodgy
Tes Australia is posting specific jobs and when you apply you receive generic emails trying to potentially push you towards other jobs. Hence they are using job ads for bait.
Downhill and no security
Gone downhill and now seems to have lost ciber essentials, do want them to keep child information with no ciber certificate???
Terrible
Terrible. Bought a study guide and will not download. AVOID tes
Had an awful experience
Had an awful experience. Purchased a card game expecting it to be the physical item, but actually received a PDF file. The item was not clearly described as a PDF file within the listing.
The Customer Service was a joke. They wouldn't refund me £2.99, so had to request a chargeback, which has been successful.
Just a simple refund was needed instead of unnecessary hassle.
