Bought some soldering equipment from testclips, I was especially interested in the pinecil soldering iron, but I wanted some other items as well and I wanted to leave my money to companies supporting open source projects. Everything feels of outstanding quality and I couldn't be happier about my purchase. I have only used the soldering iron and the power supply so far and I can't find any faults. I would definitely recommend anyone buying from these guys.

Delivery arrived on time as expected and said items I bought (pinecil v2, 1.5m cable and stand) were packaged very well.

When my solder station became faulty I started to look for a replacement and boy is their a lot of them out there and you have to be careful as there are many fakes on the go.
After searching for hours I came across this site Test clips their website was easy to navigate and had a lot to choose from and at very fair prices.
I decided on the GVM solder station which was on sale,, this station came with three different hand tools which is good as
this allows you to have a better choice of tools in your repair box.
The parcel arrived quickly and was securely wrapped, the station is heavier than my old one and for the project it looks solid.
Everything worked straight out of the box and using it was as easy as ABC, The owner of this business was polite and phoned to make sure that everything went ok with my order, apart from Royal Mail not delivering on time everything went like clockwork.
I would fully recommend Test clips simply because they kept me up to date with my order and answered the questions that I had at the time.

Delivery was prompt (it should be at that price), but the hinges on the "deluxe pinecil case" are so loose the case is forever falling open. Good service, mediocre products.

UPDATE:
Testclips contacted me when they saw my 3* review, and offered THREE resolutions. We agreed on a refund for the cost of the case - which was processed literally within /minutes/.

My review of the case is elsewhere on Trustpilot [3*]. This is a review for a company who did everything they could to fix a mistake*, and easily deserve 5*

*This includes saying that they would modify the design of the case to address the issue!

Prompt dispatch via Royalmail 48. Authentic product as well. No complaints.
