The user interface was smooth and effortless. I haven't faced any issue while attempting the test.

the time for the assessement was too fast i was too time concious and its a bad one

It was very good assessment but still wants some time for doing some detailed questions, well it was a good experience, hopefully I will got shortlist.

Well I want to believe the time set was handled with real time settings because it was pretty fast plus most of the test questions had to be read out loud because well for me I wasn’t able to comprehend most of the logical questions reading it in my head. The interface was easy going and the experience is really user friendly.

The surveys are incredible. The truth is that they are quite useful and self-constructive. I feel they could improve on the topics of the questions, but everything else is very good.

Everytime I do these tests, they appear manageable but when results come, I fail. How do you want us to answer them?

Avoid!
I have tested the assessment process for a reservation role tourism sector.
Only 17 applicants and for such a small amount HR is using this process was not good.
Test Gorilla is from Holland so they have other rules and collect a lot of data which is different for example in the UK.
It starts with the “ diversity inclusion “ questions including DOB. This leads quickly to age discrimination simply not ok. Asking for the full address is not ok because of privacy.
The main questions are very random not one for the sector and tourism can be more specific from geographic to more travel related.
During the assessment you lose interest quickly or a waste of my time thought and I don’t want to work for this company!
The people who create those questions have not explored industries enough.
The other thing is people do not believe in being tested with irrelevant questions.
Really disappointed but it’s mainly created by and for millennials.
GenZ will not put up with it and hopefully they have better ideas.

Highly deceptive pricing model with the impression of monthly plans only to insist on annual with no ability to cancel. Beware of the much smaller font size used pointing this out.

unfair subscriptions with 1 year lock in even though I pay per month, won't cancel the subscription and the payments keep coming and won't pay back.

TestGorilla is the worst company on the market providing assessment for hiring process. Their customer service team is a nightmare to deal with.
I don’t recommend using TestGorilla for your business. Hackerrank and other testing platforms are much better than this platform.
Test Gorrilla is an unethical business, only care about money.

We used TestGorilla for its assessments, which are decent overall—the platform is reasonably user-friendly, and the tests themselves are fine for basic screening.
However, the subscription and billing model is completely predatory. There is no option for monthly billing—only annual subscriptions, which auto-renew without clear reminders. When we tried to cancel, their system threw errors, and despite contacting support on the same day the renewal charge went through, they refused to issue a refund.
This kind of rigid, opaque billing policy is unacceptable, especially for a SaaS company. Charging hundreds or thousands with no refund recourse (even within hours of renewal) shows a lack of integrity. It feels like they rely on people forgetting or running into technical issues in order to secure another year of fees.
The product might be passable, but the lack of transparency and fairness around billing is a deal-breaker. Proceed with caution—or look elsewhere if you value flexible, customer-friendly service.

We had a deeply disappointing experience with TestGorilla.
Our annual subscription ($990) was auto-renewed without any clear notice, and we couldn’t access our account due to a login issue. As a result, we were unable to cancel on time.
We contacted support immediately after the charge, explained the situation, and asked for a refund. Despite the obvious context and our clean payment history, we received a generic refusal citing their “no refund” policy.
Their support team acknowledged the issue but refused to take responsibility. Even though they advertise fairness and transparency, in reality, they enforce rigid policies and ignore reasonable customer concerns.
If you’re a business looking for a reliable and ethical service — think twice before committing to TestGorilla. Once they get your money, don’t expect flexibility, fairness, or customer care.
We regret using this platform and strongly discourage others from doing the same.
