Managed to submit our readings out of hours which I would not recommend as you can't communicate with anyone if you need assistance. All worked out after a lot of panic and stress and we received our fit to fly certificates early the next morning.
Karl Marshall was good at administering the test and was very efficient. However the website for logging the test was tricky to use on the laptop. When you got to the page for logging your email details and phone number, a huge flag took over the whole section blocking all the text boxes and would not allow us (both me and my husband using different laptops) to continue. In the end under time pressure we abandoned the computer and used our phones instead which took away from the experience. We also contacted customer services and was told some-one would contact him and they never did. So that part was very unsatisfactory.
