Written Off and Undervalued

I placed an order 4/17/2025 for one festival style dress. I waited with no contact from the company until August 8/27/25. This is when they messaged me and bassically communicated that they had a disruption in there production and were having manufacturing delays. I requested a refund and have been waiting 3 months for a refund and it has been approximatly 10 months from the date of purchase. Meanwhile they have restructured the company into 2 seperate operating entities. They have said i will recieve my refund but in there emails they will not say when and they have stated in writing they will not respond to emails regarding refunds.

Meanwhile i am reciveing adds from them and it seems to be buisness as usual for Tetramode. I would encourage others to stay away from this company. There seems to be issues with the companys managment as it took them 7 months to relize that there was a manufacturing disruption.

And I would have continued to order from the company if i would have gotten a timely refund.

Ive waited to write this review, but i feel as though i have been written off and undervalued by Tetramode.

Order made in May. Still not received. Lack of communication and customer service.

Purchased 1 hoodie and 2 T shirts on 24th May 2025, cost just under £140.

It's now 27th of September and yet to still even have an update on it. I am aware they had an issue with their supplier and I understand that's going to be a massive setback, and I really did want to keep faith that my order would eventually be fulfilled however apart from the odd email every now and then saying they're working on it I've had no further communication regarding this issue since the 2nd of August. That email said by the end of the month that we'd hear something but yet nothing. Apart from the promotional emails sent nearly daily they're not communicating about this.

I initially asked for Store Credit via the process they outlined however still to this date I've not received any credit to my account and my order is just frozen as 'confirmed' on the page. I've tried contacting the owner via email and social media but get no response. Due to tariff increases also I doubt they'd be able to ship out my order to the UK without me having to pay even more than what I have paid so I've just given up. I held out hope, it was my first order with these guys and I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it's been 4 months now. 4 months. Doubt I'll ever receive a refund or the items ordered so that moneys gone, as far as I'm concerned I got scammed hard. Will not be buying anything from them again. I'd recommend Electro Threads, similar stuff but I've never had an issue with any order from them, and items actually arrive and within the allotted time-frames.

Horrible Company, horrible Customer Service

Horrible! Honestly would run far away from these guys. Marked my order as delivered with an item missing. Emailed them and response was oh that item is experiencing delays. Waited another month and asked for a refund- no response, crickets. Original order placed 4.28 and today is 9.17.

great company, fast delivery

well first of all i just want to say how the previous reviews does not paint this company in a great light. i used this company as they are one of the only rave/festival clothing companies that sell uv reactive clothing for both men and women, so that me and my partner are matching. the designs are outstanding and delivery was really quick too, i received my order within 2 weeks.
1000% ordering more outfits

Good People

Tetramode had a terrible manufacture issue that wasn't their fault. They will always make it right. They are a very small team that focuses on quality. I get more comments on my Tetramode stuff than anything else I own

Made an order of a picture 4 month ago. Never recieved my item. No communication, just a message on the site to say there is some problems...
In did write several times to know about my order and I never had any answer.
The artist make great stuff but with this behavour he makes his saoul dirty.

My boyfriend (on my behalf) ordered a tank top from TetraMode for a time-sensitive event. AFTER purchase, he found out the item would take 2–3 weeks to ship—a detail that was not made clear during checkout. It was hidden in the FAQ and buried in the order confirmation email.

He immediately contacted the shop to cancel or expedite. The owner, Sam, acknowledged the delay and explicitly agreed to issue a refund. That refund never happened.

Weeks later—long after the event—the item finally arrived, shipped from Virginia with a “handmade in Mexico” label. The store claims to be California-based and heavily implies items are handmade by the owner. Clearly, that’s misleading.

But here’s where it gets worse:
My partner later reached out to leave a review —and Sam issued a refund immediately, without even being asked. No questions, no excuses. Just instant action… for him.
When he tried before? Nothing but excuses and delays.

And when my partner left an honest comment about our experience on social media? Sam deleted it and blocked him.

If you only issue refunds when someone else speaks up—and then try to silence honest criticism—that’s not customer service. That’s shady damage control.

I support *real* small businesses. But this one hides behind aesthetics, dodges accountability, and folds under pressure.

Thanks for reaching out — I’d like to set the record straight, because what’s being shared publicly is leaving out key facts and misrepresenting the situation.

Josh placed an order for a tank top and later claimed the shipping timeline was “hidden.” That’s simply not true. The 2–3 week production window is clearly stated on all product pages, in the FAQ, in the site footer, in the order confirmation email, and directly below the checkout button. It's also in the Terms of Service which every customer agrees to when making a purchase.

You say Josh contacted us to cancel or expedite the order, and that I agreed to issue a refund. What actually happened is this: our policy allows cancellations within 24 hours of ordering. After that, the product enters production and must be returned for a refund. Josh claimed he messaged us after the order was placed. That's false. Josh placed the order on May 1st and emailed us on May 9th after the cancellation policy was expired. We never received the item back — and yet, we still issued a full refund in good faith. That goes beyond what our policy requires.

You mentioned the product arrived weeks later with a “Made in Mexico” label and implied this contradicts claims that everything is “handmade” by me personally. Just to be clear:
I’ve never once claimed that I personally sew or stitch the garments. What I have always stated is that I design all of the artwork myself, and every item is made to order by real people using a print-on-demand cut & sew production model — a very common industry standard. The “Made in Mexico” tag is legally required, as our production recently moved just south of the California border. The Virginia address is simply a return location so items can come directly back to me.

You noted that Josh later left a review and was refunded “instantly.” That refund was already being processed when our team found the review. We operate with a satisfaction guarantee — and even if someone doesn’t follow protocol, we still try to make things right when they’re clearly unhappy.

As for your claim that Josh was silenced on social media: he wasn’t blocked for “leaving an honest comment.” He was spamming our posts repeatedly across multiple threads. Our page exists to showcase art, not host personal grievances. Removing spam and blocking disruptive users is standard moderation — not censorship.

The bottom line is this: Josh was refunded in full, kept the product, and is now publicly attacking us. That’s not someone seeking resolution — that’s someone trying to damage a small business that went above and beyond to accommodate them.

Poor communication, missing items from order, huge delays in shipping

I waited nine weeks for my order and, after emailing customer service multiple times, finally received a package but it contained only one of the four items I'd ordered. To add insult to injury, the item was in men's, not women's XS so I can't even wear it (it is HUGE on me). I've emailed them about this issue multiple times again and have heard nothing back. It pains me to say it because I want to support independent artists, BUT, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

Samuel is a BRILLIANT artist..

Samuel is a BRILLIANT artist... and TetraMode is a great company. Yes, things might take a but to ship, but these are essentially custom pieces that are made to order. This isn't Amazon filled with pre-made stock. I bought the Nucleus blanket and pants, and I'm ordering plenty more once my budget allows! Don't listen to the haters. I'm a REAL person and this is an honest review. Give artists a chance to fulfill your order and you'll be STOKED.

I would give them 0 stars if possible

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I made an order on Dec 12. On the same day I sent an email requesting to confirm if it would be delivered by Dec 27th, and if not to cancel the order. This was purchased for a specific event. This was the last response after multiple emails requesting to cancel and not ship if it would not arrive in time. On Dec 26 I requested the tracking number and received a email tracking notification on Dec 28th ( after the date needed). I've sent multiple emails and sent messages on the site requesting return label and refund with still no response as of Jan 15. Do NOT order from this site unless you don't like your money. Now I'm still waiting for a response.

UPDATE: 2.10.2025 - Only after writing this review, did I finally receive a response from the seller. I received a return label and returned the product. Delivery tracking showed it was delivered back to seller on 1/29/2025 and I still have no refund.

This item was returned and delivered on 1/29/2025. I have sent multiple emails and as of 2/13/25 still with no response or refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We received your package; however, we’re a bit confused about the circumstances surrounding the return. If the item was intended for an event that has already passed, could you clarify why the internal packaging was opened? Typically, when customers decide they no longer want an item, they leave the packaging intact. Opening the sealed garment suggests it may have been tried on, which seems inconsistent with the stated reason for the return.

We will issue you a gift card in the exact amount paid, we will even bend further to accommodate you and include shipping reimbursement which is typically non-refundable but we will make an exception in this case.

buyer beware …

I communicated with the shop owner Samuel to let him know. I wanted to return the hoodie that I purchased, but keep the joggers. He sent me the hoodie and no joggers. Still kept the full amount for both items. I’ve been robbed. No communication since. Very frustrating and makes me reluctant to purchase from other vendors like this one.

0 star company! Beware!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely terrible company. Ordered a couple of dresses that took months to arrive. Dresses weren’t the correct size and I had reached out about returns but never heard anything back the first time and then when I reached out the second time I was outside of the return window but they said I could ship them back and get store credit. Spent over $100 on these dresses and paid for return shipping and my emails about the store credit I’m owed go unanswered. These items were returned beginning of September. Do NOT purchase from this company!

Bad communication

I bought a t-shirt and heard nothing back besides the order confirmation.

When asked for the tracking link I got an excuse as apparently the bank transfer is broken (ACH issue).

Afterwards there is no communication so I'm disputing the case in paypal.

Scam

Scam! I ordered and paid for a shirt on 8/30/24. Got an email saying shipping and tracking info would follow. Never came, nothing was shipped. Emailed after several months and got a generic response saying he's "swamped". Yet he's advertising all over Facebook and Instagram, taking new orders and people's money without fulfilling old orders. I was able to get a refund through PayPal.

Update - here's his email saying he's "swamped" which he denied saying, just so you can see what a lying douche is running this scam:

Interesting designs that are worth a little wait!

I really loved the designs on Tetramode.com and after much consideration, placed an order.

Fulfilment took several weeks, but I did receive my items.

4 out of five were great and looked "picture perfect". However, one of the items was not a good fit (I think the size was accurate, but it was just uncomfortable for me to wear), so I wanted to issue a return for that item.

I followed the "contact us" instructions in my order delivery email and navigated to the Returns Center in order to initiate a refund for the one unsatisfactory item.

After entering my order information, I was given a message that all of the items in my just-received order were "not eligible" for return with no reason given.

This made no sense, so I opened a support ticket and was contacted back within 72 hours.

Apparently there was an IT glitch that caused items purchased on discount to be automatically disqualified from returns, but error was fixed and I was able to process my return with no issues after trying again.

The customer support agent who assisted me was gracious and prompt in approving my return.

So, despite having a little trouble returning the item due to the IT issue, I am overall happy with my purchase and will certainly consider purchasing from Tetramode again in the future.

Scam!!!

Purchased a t shirt from this seller 31st aug, I had one confirmation of purchase and no tracking no updates emailed the seller and messaged both of his Facebook pages with no response waited 4 days and left a comment on one of his posts on Facebook page informing him I had to open a case because he isn't communicating with me, later on found out he has blocked me from his page where he advertised the clothing line on. Do not buy from this seller! scam!! I've opened a case with PayPal for a refund.
