No customer service whatsoever

Hi

06.01.2024:
You cannot edit your texttospeech.io-account profile data. So you cannot change anything for example your name or email-address. When you press update-button it erases/clears your username field and says your username cannot be empty and does not allow you to write anything in the username field. So no information can be changed. Pretty crooked. And account cannot be deleted. They don't have a customer service to answer you. Customer service does nothing. Watch out.

You really cannot delete TextToSpeech.io-account. They really do not have any customer service.

OK voice, unacceptable terms

The voice was OK but robotic voice standards. What bothers me, and what merits the one star is their subscription policy. You pay per month, but if you cancel, you lose whatever you have left of that month. So if you plan to do a one-off job, you have to pay for a month, and then either cancel it immediately, and lose whatever credits you have left, or actively remember to cancel it the day before renewal. This is of course in order to have people forget to cancel, so that they unintentionally keep paying. Designing a service where you keep your customers not because you have an awesome product, but by making it difficult to cancel is totally unacceptable, and for this reason alone, I would never again use their service, no matter the voice quality.
