I initially signed up for the 20 Lesson Survival Thai course with Kru Fah and the gang. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons end yes, even the homework.
The video lessons were engaging, educational and entertaining with the occasional laugh out loud moment. It almost felt like the classmates were your friends and certainly people you could have a few beers with after the lesson (well if I was in Bangkok and not in Sydney). Seriously though, my survival Thai has improved a lot, I've learned many new words and would love to re-join the lessons beyond the first 20 with Kru Fah and the gang. I must also say that Kru Fah is an excellent teacher. Her methods are very engaging and a lot of what she teaches in class sticks, Kru Noey, the support teacher on WhatsApp is also very good and certainly patient when I have to send Thai language voice messages for homework.
I can highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to learn some Thai.

Kru Fah is a fantastic teacher! Her passion for teaching and individualized support encourage us all to work hard. Her classes are well-organized, engaging, and filled with laughter. She takes the time to mark our assignments individually and inspires us to do our best. I highly recommend purchasing the 100-day "Thai Language Challenge"! You won't regret it!

Definitely the way to learn Thai for me. I still live in America and don't have any Thais to practice with, but the videos make me feel like I'm there in the classroom. I'm only on lesson 45 and I can really feel it all coming together. I'm certain by lesson 100, I will be confidant to converse with anyone when I go to Thailand soon!

The Thai Language Challenge is so fun and engaging! I’m currently taking the lessons from my home in Canada and it feels like I get a little trip to Bangkok with each lesson!

Kru Fah has a unique way of presenting the language in a structured way, where the lessons build on each other and by quiz time you’ll be amazed at the progress you’ve made!

There are additional online tools with vocabulary libraries, match-games and interactive games through Quizlet, as well as your own 1-on-1 support teacher on WhatsApp!

There’s no pressure of deadlines so you can work at your own pace, which is nice if you’re a spontaneous person!.. take off on that adventure for a few days and your lesson is waiting for you when you get home!

This is my second time learning a new language and the challenge is hands-down the best value-for money investment I’ve made 🙏🏼🇹🇭🙏🏼

It is demanding, but I need someone, who pushes me.
Therefore, after 2 failed attempts in different courses, this is the one.
And they have a separate vocabulary list / program.

Excellent online course. You learn a lot, but be prepared to put in the hours. Kruu Fah (the teacher) is very good, and it all feels more interactive when you have the other classmates in the classroom and use the WhatsApp app to communicate with the teachers.

I have just completed lesson number 38 and I have been enjoying the course very much. I found the Thai Language Challenge more helpful than other ways of learning Thai (I had signed up for an app and I had also try to learn from a book). The teacher is fun and creative in the way she present the material. She is also very good at explaining things (makes you want to keep doing). You also get one on one support via whatsapp and you can tell that they care about you and genuinely they want you to improve. The students in the class also very fun. Chris is the class mate you would have wanted to have, i always have a good laugh! This is a great format, top quality in all aspects including the website and the video classes. Sign up for 100 day because otherwise you will regret it!

Fantastic course with a great teacher. It is a great way to really immerse yourself into the Thai language and get a wide variety of vocabulary, grammar and general knowledge of Thai culture.

What a fantastic approach to learning a new language. Kru Fah’s teaching style (fun, thoughtful, well planned) and the unique virtual classroom made it feel like I was there in person. Absolutely LOVE the Thai Language Challenge. It's so much fun and I find I've learned very quickly thanks to the classroom environment. I love that a lot of Thai is spoken in the class so you retain a lot from previous lessons and it becomes second nature to speak, rather than resort to English. Absolutely love the Quizzlet addition too! It makes what you learn in class really go into your long term memory. I'm studying from New Zealand but plan to be completely fluent in Thai by the time I move there in a few years!

This course has sped up my Thai learning progress so much! It's built on practical elements that I could start implementing in my daily life in Thailand right away, which I find very motivating. I might skip a day or two here and there, but I'm always excited to jump back to the lessons because I've been enjoying seeing the progress in myself. Thank you!

Kruu Fah’s unique way to teach an online Thai language course is an absolute winner! As a student I immerse myself in her virtual classroom and become an active participant using my own timeline to work through the printable course material. It is such an effective way to learn Thai. Her sense of humour and interactions with the 4 students in her classroom also makes participation in this class believable and a delight to be in. Added bonuses are that I have access to a premade study program in Quizlet and access to a live teacher through What’s App. Kruu Fah has developed this course to ensure her students will be successful. Excellent Thai language course that is fun and easy to follow. The team have created a highly engaging format that makes you feel like you are in a formal language school but having fun along the way. Kru Fah is encouraging and makes it fun with the students.
There is also a link to FlashCards where you can practice the vocabulary and test yourself.
I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn Thai from scratch or improve your language skills to give this a try.

I’ve loved these lessons. The content and production values are top notch and Kruu Fah is a wonderful teacher. I’ve felt that I was right there in the classroom but with the ability to stop, go back and work through the lessons at my own pace. Kruu Fah makes the classes welcoming and fun while at the same time covering an amazing amount of material. 5 stars without question.

Writing this from just over the half way mark at lesson 51!

The course is fantastic, so much effort has been put in by Kru Fah and those behind the scenes too.
Every lesson is typically an hour and a bit long and will focus around a particular theme, or across two or three lessons build on that theme. Each lesson covers some core vocab for that lesson, which is generally repeated and reinforced time and time again. As the lesson progresses there maybe additional vocab that is brought up, not necessarily key to the lesson itself but adhoc.

What is unique and great is Kru Fah is teaching to 5 students, four in person and you the 5th is “khun classmate”. Because the four in person students are learning themselves, it’s fascinating to watch a natural class unfold where people start to understand concepts and speak and the class develops in ways perhaps not immediately intended. Therefore it’s not so stale as watching an online video which is predetermined.
It also makes for some great comedy moments and confusion at times.

Each lesson has course material that you print and can annotate and the videos are there for you to go back on whenever you want. At the end of every ten lessons there is a quiz to recap that block of ten before moving on.

It’s quite daunting at first to try and complete in 100 days but you don’t have to, in fact I realised quite quickly I couldn’t find the time to do it every day and sometimes after work I just wasn’t in the headspace. So I do a few lessons a week, but I’ll definitely finish I’m too deep now!

Finally they provide you with a WhatsApp channel to a support teacher that will engage in conversations, answer homework or just general questions about Thai language.
I’ve text them from a bar in Samui saying “the bar person just said this, but I thought to finish was this” and so any situation can be used.

I’m back in Thailand by the time I get to about lesson 70 so looking forward to the difference, the last time I was about leasing 20ish and it was great to use some simple language and see the different looks I got as people I engaged with would entertain small conversations.

Go for it, best money I’ve spent!

The content is very practical, just what I need to get up to speed quickly. Kru Fah is a great teacher, she makes each class fun and her enthusiasm is contagious! Thank you!!
