That Vegan Vulture is a vegan-ran business that focusses on osteology and education surrounding our local ecosystems and the biology of our wildlife. We prioritise animal and environmental welfare when collecting, cleaning, and building animal remains. We sell animal skulls, bones, and skeletons that we have foraged for ourselves, and provide cleaning and building services for pets and wildlife that customers have commissions us to clean. We do our best to let nature handle as much of the cleaning as possible prior to our own cleaning processes. This is so the natural cycle can take back as much as it needs to first - allowing the animal to return to the earth. (This does not include pets due to the euthanasia drug being an ecological risk.) When retrieving animal remains, of any state, we do our best to assess the evidence we can gather on how the animal has met their death. If, for any reason, we suspect a purposeful killing of any kind, we will not sell anything foraged from that animal.

Jewellery and oxidation pellet class

Have previously bought jewellery and participated in both a bone oxidation course and owl pellet online class. The jewellery was beautiful and great to know it is ethically sourced. Both classes were great, informative and Grace is so knowledgeable and patient. Never felt rushed in any way and learnt so much. Thank you so much Grace!

Owl Pellet Workshop

I did an owl pellet workshop and I loved it. Very knowledgeable host and the kit included everything you needed. I have also bought bones from them before and it’s always been a great experience. 1000% recommend

Wonderful experience - something different!

Attended an online workshop dissecting owl pellets. From the initial ticket purchase to the closing out of the workshop, this was a delight! The parcel contained not only everything required for the workshop but also extra things to make a beautiful display piece after the bones have been processed. Grace was kind, personable and happy to answer questions before, during and after the workshop. Very fun and educational, will be keeping an eye out for what the future holds, and excited to see what we can make with our finds!

Owl pellet workshop

I attended an online owl pellet workshop and had such a great experience it was very calm and relaxed with no pressure and she answered any and all questions I had about taxidermy, bones and other related things and was so kind and patient with me.The information provided was very thorough and much more detailed than I expected which made it so easy to follow and identify the bones I found it was overall such a nice experience and I am very excited for any future workshops.
