The Hearing Care Partnership (THCP) was recommended by one of my wife's friends (a retired GP). Having had problems with my existing hearing aid and becoming more and more frustrated with my reduced hearing, I was keen to explore other solutions. THCP has more than lived up to expectations. A thorough examination and ear cleaning with a clear explanation of what hearing aids were available was followed by a home visit for fitting purposes. A third appointment involved some minor adjustments and I can now hear clearly for the first time in many years! The hearing aids themselves are easy and discreet to wear and require little maintenance. Regular follow-up appointments are included in the package to ensure that everything is as it should be. Not the cheapest product on the market but definitely money well spent as far as I'm concerned.

I then received a prompt phone call from Elaine Clifford, who arranged for me to visit the branch for a free hearing test.

Following the test, Elaine went through the results in detail with me face to face, then sent me the results by email for my own records and offered me advice on how to manage my symptoms.

Having found myself asking people to repeat things, seemingly more frequently than I remember, I decided to get my hearing and ears checked at my local optician who had recently introduced a new service from the Hearing Care Partnership. Elaine was both thorough and informative. Explaining the results in clear layman's terms. I was particularly appreciative of the chance to try out the latest hearing aids which focus on the specific frequencies that you have difficulty hearing. It certainly made me realise why I was not always understanding people. If, like me, you are starting to struggle to follow conversations especially in noisy places, then I'd certainly advise getting your hearing checked and would recommend the Hearing Care Partnership for their high quality service.
