I bought a bed from the Sidcup store in November 2022, which was delivered when promised. There was a defect with the frame and a small stain on the mattress, which weren't apparent until the packaging was removed. However, when I raised the issues with the store, they replaced both defective elements without quibble and very promptly, to my full satisfaction. Excellent customer service.

Service service and service.
I bought a bed and when it arrived it was clear it was no good. I went back and fourth to the shop to get any sort of solution. I even offered to swap my matress for a showroom one but nothing. I have slept in my old mattress on the floor ever since as I am so uncomfortable on the new one and get such bad backache.

After a horrendous experience at Bensons for Beds, I found The Bed Post online stocking a very similar item to what I wanted. Ryan at the crayford showroom was incredibly helpful. The choice and quality of stock is excellent. Exactly a week later, my bed and mattress have been delivered on time and assembled with no issues by the Bed Post team who were extremely professional and efficient. Nothing but good words to say here!!

I have never bought a bed and was concerned that didn't know quite what to look for or consider. I went to The Bed Post in Petts Wood. The sales assistant there, Felicity, who normally works in a different branch, served us and treated me (and my daughter who'd come to help) as if there was all the time in the world. She showed us lots of different beds and mattresses (which all felt comfortable). Strangely, she had the same wallpaper in her bedroom and I ended up choosing the entire bed that she had herself! She was very patient and respectful. (If you like a cool mattress choose the KoolResponse. I find it a bit cold but very comfortable.)
I have given this a four star rating as the delivery men rather let the side down but delivery of the bed was speedy, which was great.

Needed a new double bed ASAP, the Crayford branch showed me what was available and were able to deliver the new bed the same afternoon as I live local to the store… Amazing customer service, I will be back in the new year when I replace my other bed.

Thank you to Ryan, at the Sidcup branch. I needed to order a new mattress for a bed that required a special order, and had to do it all by phone due to shielding and health issues. I explained what was needed, Ryan made enquiries and got back to me with alternatives. Decision made, the actress was ordered, delivered in 3 weeks and the old mattress taken away by the excellent delivery crew. And the mattress is exactly what was needed. Thank you, always good service from The Bed Post but I felt Ryan went beyond to excellent. EJW

I went into the Reigate shop looking for a replacement mattress. The lady there was very friendly and informative. She explained the options and I was able to pay and arrange delivery within 2 days. The delivery man offered to help us take the new mattress upstairs and was as friendly as the sales lady.

We only went into the Crayford store Sunday 10th April to order a headboard - delivered today Good Friday 15th -from the politest 2 delivery men we’ve met in a very long time !! Oak “joke” furnitureland your delivery team could learn a lot from these men !!

Worst experience in buying a bed ever unknowledgeable staff rude customer service

Excellent service from start to finish from helping to advise and select the mattress to arrangement of delivery, fitting and disposal of old mattress.

In the Sidcup store Trevor delivered expert advise in a very friendly and relaxed manner never felt under pressure to commit to anything but was happy to purchase the mattress of our choice.

The delivery and fitting of new mattress and disposal of old mattress was handled quickly and efficiently.

I was contacted prior to arrival for delivery as promised which was greatly appreciated.

The two gentlemen who took care of the delivery were friendly and careful and respectful of house and surroundings moving the mattress upstairs with care and expertise whilst also offering care advise for mattress before they left.

Only negative was delivery of my mattress was delayed by one week but this was a minor point and my mattress was well worth the wait.

Would definitely recommend The Bed Post and intend to return in the future for sure!

I have not actually bought a bed from Bedpost as they are not in ChCh. They are in Dunedin and Nelson. I didn't know this when I phoned and talked to Kathy in Dunedin. She was so helpful and guided me to make a great bed selection in ChCh. She knew the industry well, knew a lot about the various beds and shops in ChCh. Thank you for your time and effort to help me even though you knew you wouldn't get a sale from me. It was super kind. Do go and support BedPost as they really helped me.

I have just bought a new bed in The Bed Post in the Dunton Green Branch where I was served by Mark who was brilliant. Its really nice to get good service and he was on his own looking after myself and another pair-certainly knows his stuff. He didn't rush me and explained the different types and the choices of materials and different divan basis. It was a new experience and now I know what to look out for. I had my bed delivered by two lovely men who dissembled my old bed and removed it professionally for a small charge and then assembled my new bed and took the packaging away which I paid £10 Gold Service-good value. The big companies could learn a lot from smaller businesses. Thank you for a wonderful service and long may The Bed Post shops continue.

I bought a mattress on the 29th December 2018. Within a few days we realised that something was wrong with the mattress - it felt like sleeping on a hammock. Husband started sleeping on airbed and did so for more that 10 weeks whilst we tried to resolve the issue. Since we had spent £1200 we were naturally concerned that we could not exchange or get a refund. We went back to the shop who sent firstly an independent representative out to look at it then later a representative from the company who both said there was nothing wrong with the mattress, well no you have to sleep on it for a bit to see how it feels not just briefly measure sit and lay on it. After many visits and telephone conversations, my only option was to purchase another mattress and spend a little bit more (£600) I wanted a refund as I was not prepared to invest another penny in this company. I went to Dreams bought another mattress and wasted £1200 the mattress is going down the dump as I cannot sell this it would be unfair.

Great shop floor staff cannot do enough! Received request to ring and arrange a delivery date.Female named Judy apparently comes across as completely thick on phone as she told me she did not have the know how to access her work or orders or emails on the computer.Rang three times to be shouted at times requested.On day arranged for a morning delivery I rang at 11am as no show to query whereabouts.Was informed no order or delivery was on the system.I had to threaten to return for a complete refund and miraculously my order was located in there warehouse out for delivery that afternoon.No communication as promised one hour before delivery.Once The Bedpost have your monies the customer service just strings you along with whatever they can think of and tell you complete lies.I would never again buy from this store as organising delivery with the very person that deals with the complaints who comes across as thick as two planks on the phone is a thorn and bad publicity for the store like a devil in disguise! Avoid at all costs and get everything promised in writing!!!!! Even delivery staff complained about their treatment.

We have just bought a bed and mattress from the Bed Post and we are so impressed by the quality and the service we received. Everyone in the shop was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and the delivery went very smoothly.

Purchased a mattrace from here and had excellent service. The staff were very helpful and took as much time as we needed to pick the right one for us. The service we received was 5 star. The delivery was quick and received a phone call before it came to let me know a rough time. Will definitely use again.

Very happy with my new mattress and bedstead I recently purchased from The Bed Post. Excellent service received from the staff who were very helpful giving their expert advice when I was choosing the right mattress for me! I had the bed delivered and put together and they did a great job, thank you for making it an easy transition. We took delivery of a headboard today from Bedpost service as usual first class Ollie was excellent a great representative for your company, Wish there were more companies around like Bedpost every member of staff are so helpful. Thank you will be using again.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a mattress from here. The service I received from Judi was outstanding. Judi took the time to ensure the mattress met our needs. The mattress arrived the next day and it was heaven, being pregnant I wanted a firm but comfy bed and that's certainly what we got. I would recommend the bed post at Crayford to all. I'm so pleased I went here and would like to thank Judi again for her great customer service.
