This is definetly a scam. They stole my money and never returned it even after following all of their return guidlines and multiple follow ups. I reported them to the federal trade commision and they are still able to sell products in the USA. Stay away and save your money and time.

I ordered mine back in 2017 and I am still waiting. I noticed that also keep changing their name; Portabl, Slidenjoy, and now The Portable Monitor. Once their rating gets really low they change their name, or maybe all the changes are because all the lawsuits.

Order arrived within 4-5 days from Hong Kong to Europe. Everything was well executed from packaging to included cables and careful manuals to the speedy delivery. My most favorite part of all though: the monitors worked out of the box on Fedora Linux simply running the bash script provided for Ubuntu! Excellent!! The screens are a bit weak in color and difficult to pull but this is a very very minor thing compared to what one gets as a functional product based on a wonderful idea.

Follow up: one of the monitors broke very easily after just some months (and I don't even know how) and the company become completely unresponsive to me, migrating their web site, hiding their email, overall ghosting me in every communication channel I attempted. It turns out that this was close to a scam and at present I have no way to claim back my warranty since they won't reply to any of my messages anywhere. If you can, stay away from this company and find better alternatives.

This site is likely a scam or a ponzi scheme. Very similar story to the other negative reviews here. Ordered and paid for a product in Jan 2023, never received and when inquiring was consistently told a new batch was arriving in 2 months. Cancelled my order in August 2023, was told refunds took 7-15 business days, which time came and went with no refund. Buyer beware.

You're customer service is fantastic. But I was under the impression that your monitors worked on all devices only to find out they are not compatible with Chromebooks yet. So I am not able to use them at work but I will definitely give them a try on my Mac computer for personal use.

Excellent product. Very practical and easy to use. I strongly recommend this product.

I ordered two portable monitors september 2022. Now and then I send them a message that they have to deliver. always the same answer that you have to wait 8 to 10 weeks. obviously the site is fraudulent and NOT to be trusted

I placed an order 6 months ago, the first email that they sent me was that they are going to deliver it in 2 months, 2 months passed I asked them where was my order, they said in the next batch they will deliver in 2 months, I waited again and after 5 months I asked and they said that 2 more months, I asked for a refund, it's been 1 month and I haven't received my refund, probably I won't be getting it, don't buy from here

I received mine 2 weeks ago, so I was waiting to give it some use before making a review.
So far, I love it!!! I can take it with me anywhere, it was really easy to install, and it isn't as heavy as I thought it would be.
TBH, I can't work without it now =)

The Portable Monitors company is scammers! Does not return the money and does not deliver the goods. There seems to be a huge number of deceived. It would be good for everyone to unite and find a way to put them in jail.

I got to say this has been my best purchase decision in 2023! Being a WFH mom has never been more easy, I now have 3 monitors that allow me to work way faster and If necessary I give one monitor to my kid for his youtube videos ;) and still be able to meet my deadlines for my job! Simply FANTASTIC! <3 If you are a WFH mom believe me.. you need a Portable Monitor!!

Since the MacBook Air only has a USB port on the left side, it's frustrating that the Slide can only be connected via the right side even though it has USB ports on both sides. I suggest making it possible to connect from either side.

So far so good. Only had a couple of days. Had to email support and got response in less than half hour and matter all sorted. Screens all good and connected on first time with the drivers for MacBook. My only moan, the backing is too large for my 13"macbook and so the sticky points are no good at all and cannot find anyway of increasing the brightness on the side screens. there does not seem to be an option or for me to increase font size or zoom the screen which makes some work little straining on the eyes. If someone can shed some assistance on that.

Perfect Monitor, I love that it works with a single cable it didn't drain my battery too much, it's portable and love that the screens are protected, I would make some improvements for future releases, I would make the screens a bit easier to move around, I would definitely make it lighter. And I would create a color profile to download in order to match the monitor's colors, but so far I'm extremely happy with my purchase, it's perfect for digital nomads.
