Underwhelming....
My sister and I had dinner at The Qee Choo Choo - the venue & setting was good and very unusual as the restaurant is in an old style railway carriage. The service was friendly, welcoming & attentive. Unfortunately, we did find the Thai dishes we ordered to be disappointing, lacking in flavour and in our view/experience not as authentically Thai tasting as we have had when in Thailand. The chicken massaman for example, had too many large potatoes in it & the sauce was rather oily. The chicken in the pad thai was quite dry in texture and overall we were somewhat underwhelmed. Price wise they were noticeably more expensive than other Thai restaurants, at a cost of £26 for chicken pad thai and £27 for chicken massaman. We had really been looking forward to a tasty Thai meal so left feeling rather disappointed.
