You may not get any sleep
When I went to my room I found out it was an emergency escape route with a break-glass option to get into the room, not great for personal safety or that of my possessions.
The real kicker is that as an escape route there is an emergency light in the room. As some of you will know, emergency lights have a green light that is permanently on to indicate that it is an emergency light. At night this meant there was a bright green light above my bed that was brighter than the overhead light making it impossible to sleep.
There was no prior notice about this 'feature' prior to or after booking, it is as if the owners don't care.
I spoke to one of the owners the next morning who couldn't have cared less - no apology, they were only interested in taking my money. If there had been an apology or at least an acknowledgement of a valid complaint I would not be writing this review now.
I don't know if this review will influence your decision to stay here but it pays to be aware you may not get any sleep!
