Do not order from the barber plug

Do not order from the barber plug. Custom service is responsive but not helpful. Charged me a 25% restocking fee for a clipper they never even had and never shipped to me. I would take the full refund in store credit but I don't trust this business enough so instead I got scammed.

I placed an order and never received my…

I placed an order and never received my items. They have no actual human for customer service just an AI bot. They do not reply to email inquiries with any useful information, just a standard wait and check back if still nothing. There is no way to cancel the order. I would stay away from this company.

Poor Customer Experience

I purchased a single clipper guard from their online website. After three weeks, the order had not yet been shipped. I contacted them via email and received a generic response indicating a 24-hour shipping time. Despite this, the order remained unshipped for another five days. I subsequently reached out again via email to request the cancellation of the order and a refund of the original payment. The response was unhelpful and generic. This experience has been disappointing, highlighting the need for improved customer service.I can only imagine the additional frustration this would have caused had I purchased an expensive pair of clippers. I suggest you consider taking your business elsewhere.

Scammers

Scammers. Will take your money and run. Been waiting over 3 months for a clipper/trimmer set. I’m making payments on items I’ll never receive. Absolute joke. BUYERS BEWARE.

Thebarberplug.com is some cap.

I bought a JRL clipper, the onyx, from thebarberplug.com last month, and when the clipper arrived it was missing the blade, the clipper was dead, and it seemed like it was used. Not new. I contacted customer support and let them know what happened and I even provided photo evidence of my issue, but the customer support was very inconsistent. I slowly went back and forth with them from 11/4-11/17, which was the last time I heard from them. As I'm writing this review, it is currently 12/7/25. It's been a month. I have yet to receive a response even though their last email to me stated "We will get back to you once we have an update" but no updates have been given, and compensation seems impossible at this point. In short, thebarberplug.com is literally the worst website I've ever visited and you should not buy from them, unless you want to get scammed and ripped off. If I could give this website a 0 I would.

Don’t use barber plug

Don’t use barber plug if you plan on getting something shipped. I ordered a pair of clippers august 6th, it’s currently October 26th. I asked for a refund which took then 3 days to reply to, and they told me all I can get is store credit. You’d think after that long of a wait a full refund should be offered and an apology. I will not be using them anymore for supplies and I be sure to let everyone know to not use them anymore. STAY AWAY FROM THEM. They don’t care about their customers

If you cans deliver don’t offer it

If I could give them a 0 I would . Preorder the JRL Lamborghini in July and have yet to receive them . They do realize we’re barbers we make money with tools we spend a lot of money to make money if you can’t deliver don’t offer them smh I need to recoup my loss already . Right 450+im out Rn.

The barber plug really went far

The barber plug really went far with this package I got. It came in all open and missing 1 piece which I’m not going to cry about since it was cheap but still. The first time I ordered it was a trimmer with clipper and the trimmer was missing. It’s not the first time, it is truly the worst company I’ve ever seen how they do not care about their customers. Don’t order from them.

Worst website to order clippers…

Worst website to order clippers from..expect to wait a long time for your order to be sent, and they never answer your calls during business hours, and if you send emails expect a reply back 2-3 days later if your lucky. Never ordering from The Barber Plug ever again.Worst experience ever and Bad customer service.

I ordered 3 boxes of razor blades and…

I ordered 3 boxes of razor blades and was shipped only one. I understand mistakes happen, but I was stunned by the delaying, obfucation, and lack of accountability the representative gave me when I contacted The Barber Plug. How hard is it to simply ask the shipping department if they made a mistake and to rectify it?

Instead they wanted me to send pictures of the shipping list, which wasn't included in the parcel. I did send photos of the parcel which clearly showed it only had room for one unit, not three.

I regretfully am having to dispute the transaction with my bank for the 2 missing units. Dumb. This should have been a quick oops, we made an error, and we're fixing it. But nope.

BEWARE!! SCAM!!!

BEWARE!!! Placed an online order. 10 days later my order has still not been fulfilled or shipped. I contacted customer service after three business days and they told me I needed to wait 3 to 5 business days for the order to be fulfilled which I did. There was no movement. I contacted customer service again. It was told I need to wait another 3 days to see if anything happened. Another three days passed and nothing happened. At this point, I requested to cancel my order because they could not give me an any explanation as to why my order wasn't being fulfilled and I had to purchase items elsewhere due to a time constraint. They ignored my request until I disputed the charge, then told me l have to pay a 45% restocking fee for items that were never taken from stock for an order that was never fulfilled. I even tried to edit my order via their option to do so on the website, but my email and order number “can’t be found”. The storefront may be good, i don't know, I do not live in the area and l've never visited. But online is definitely a scam. I wish I would’ve researched more before placing my order. I now see I am not the only one this has happened to online.

Was my first time ordering trimmers…

Was my first time ordering trimmers from them and I received the products I was happy but as soon as I opened the box and looked on the back part of the trimmer blades it was missing one screw in total the product was to have two screws on the blade area but this item only had one screw on the blade. I contacted customer service but no response it has been two days since I sent an email due to the fact that they do not have a phone number to contact.
Will not be shopping here at this business again.
