Utterly gorgeous, the roll on Cedarwood deo... man I smell insatiable.😉

Been using their products for 3 years now. I genuinely can't express how amazing all their products are.
My skin feels amazing and I've seem improvements with dryness on my skin. The soap lathers incredibly well and I get a fully month from a bar of soap.
Their deodorant is the best around, tho you may need to be mindful about how you screw the deo on your first go. but my goodness it lasts me 12 hours, smells great even in the evening, i get no skin reaction or skin burn that I got with the likes of Lynx too. and lasts me about 2 months.
I love their natural cologns, tho they dont really last the whole day, they smell fantastic and I've gotten some lovely compliments from people.
The black stuff products are second to non and make for amazing gifts. If you're looking to try it, stick with it for a month, you'll never go back to synthetic crap again.
They often do free giveaways on their FB community group and their customer support is truly great, ive had issues with shipping in the past and a defective product, I was well looked after.
Its pretty darn weird how someone could get so easily obsessed with these products.

Really loved the soaps I ordered another item which was not made clear what the item was on their site, customer service sent me a partial refund and an extra bar of soap for the inconveniences. Great customer service Fantastic company soaps last ages and smell great will be ordering again.

I placed my first order for my son because the current selection of men's soaps in Belgium is very limited. Plus, you have to be careful with dry skin, and I also wanted to buy something more eco-friendly. I ordered a range of products, and I have to admit I love the soaps and scents to.
I keep the Celtic Tiger and the soap with eucalyptus for myself 😜.
Our skin no longer feels dry! Highly recommended.

I ordered the Craic bundle - and I wasn’t disappointed. Arrived several days later, really well packed and the packaging was so cool. The bundle I ordered had 6 soaps, a deodorant and the exfoliating cloth. I have only tried 2 - and they were amazing. Just need to try the other 4. The deodorant felt really hard and emailed The Black Stuff asking if this was right - considering I emailed them on Sunday lunchtime, I was expecting a response Tuesday/Wednesday. Very surprised to get a response Sunday afternoon from John directly - the head honcho. And he told me how to get the best out of it. I will be ordering more but won’t be for a while though as I have 6 bars to get through!!!!

My husband was absolutely thrilled with the Black Stout Soap and deodorant I bought him for Christmas. The scent is fairly potent, but very nice on the skin and it making our bathroom smell incredible. I was looking for something Irish and natural/handmade and decided to try these products for the first time-it won't be the last! The parcel arrived fairly quickly (posted to Italy), ordering was easy and all contact was pleasant and efficient.

I’ve been trying to move away from aluminum-based antiperspirants for a while. After experiencing irritations with other natural brands, I tried The Black Stuff's sensitive range (Atlantic Pine).
​The Pros:
In terms of skin health, this product is excellent. I have sensitive skin and experienced zero reactions or rashes, which was a huge relief.
​The Cons:
However, the product didn't hold up well in practice. About halfway through the day, the scent changed to something quite unpleasant that made me very self-conscious.
​The most disappointing part is the damage to my clothing. The deodorant leaves heavy white marks, and the mixture of the product and sweat has seeped into the fabric of my shirts and jackets. Even after switching away from the product, I cannot get the smell out of the fibers. I’m unfortunately going to have to replace several items of clothing, making this a very expensive trial.
​While the company’s service is fine, the product itself just hasn’t worked out for me due to the residue and scent issues, especially considering the higher price point for the sensitive range.

After a good look at their website and products was convinced of The Black Stuff and made my order.

After a number of days of complete radio silence decided to contact them only after a friendly reminder I received a reply with the usual blablabla that it has been to busy with the holiday season (I completely understand that but one should be well prepared and have that forecasted and implemented with temporary staff) and that the order was not shipped yet.

On my question when it would be the case I received an half boiled reply oh in a couple of days but not a real forecast. When I replied that I regretted the fact that I made my order with them.

In less than 30 minutes I received an e-mail stating that my order was cancelled and a refund would follow which meantime also has happened hence when I’m given them a 2 star review.

On the otherhand is order processing and dispatching a nightmare an area for great improvement. Especially compared to other soap webmerchants like for instance a Dr Squatch Intl were everything is moving within 24 hours.

I believe that The Black Stuff is/was victim of their own succes and it is part of their growing pains. Going forward I might in future take another chance and try their soap bars (they look very attractive) with a new trial order. And hopefully than it will work out well!

The soaps and deodorants smell amazing and are so nice to use.

I love the customer interactions, emails, and general vibe which the business gives off.

On a practical level, ordering and delivery were spot on. The products also last for ages so whilst they might appear expensive, they are actually fantastic value.

Great soaps and excellent customer service. I am now a regular user and have recently started using the deodorant too. They are brilliant and smell amazing. The soap is excellent value for money and lasts all the way to the last tiny bit without breaking. There is a good range so something for everyone. The best soap out there as far as I’m concerned

Have ordered 3 times now and very happy with these products. Got myself soaps and deodorants many different kinds. Shipment came to Finland in 5 business days. Using only their deodorant for now and their soaps. Many have been complimenting me afterwards using these products. 6/5 would recommend!

After waiting for the beard products to go live I bought all 4 oils to try.
WOW these are probably the best oils I have put on my magnificent beard, the smell lingers all day and my beard feels softer and manageable.
I’m now going to try the butters and bin the other stuff I have. Can I recommend the black stuff for beards. 100%
